We dealt with that earlier. The kids wouldn't stop...and the parents were taking pictures. That's the maddest I've seen DW in a long time. She really lit into them. Apparently it was a temporary fix .

The people-watching from the porch is just epic tonight! It's fun to just watch and listen.

We have staked out the last picnic table on the porch...right by the arcade door. Anyone out and about stop by...there's room for more!

That's exactly what they are. I talked to a CM watching the work from the dock about 2 hours ago. He knew they were placing anchors for fireworks barges, but he either didn't know for sure when they were scheduled, or he just wouldn't tell me!

That's really not fair. The rest of us can't time it...you're the only fiend with a sundial...

We pulled into one in Kissimmee a few years back at about 6-7 pm (still light out). Before we'd even shut the engine off a security car raced over and told us we couldn't stay there.  Um... we weren't planning to, but thanks anyway.
 
It's my understanding that there are county ordinances that prevent overnight camping in any store parking lots around WDW. 
 
But I'm with you - I'd rather not get woken up by that knock on the door.  Especially since in our case, if anyone knocks all 3 dogs will go off like a bomb!   :rofl2:

Hannah returned late last night from a very successful trip to western PA. 4 events, 4 podium appearances. 3rd, 5th, and 2 8th place finishes. I couldn't be more proud. Her first competition at this level against hundreds of girls from 28 other teams. And she swims at this same age level for two more years!

Very nice work. I don't know which is which.

We got caught once in colder than expected weather, and had to buy clothes we had at home.
Our camper now has at least one pair of long pants, a sweatshirt and a light jacket for each of us on every trip. It doesn't take up much room, and you never know when you might need it on a cool evening.
Yes, I despise buying stuff just because we didn't bring something.

One of the troopers that works for me had his family at WDW last week. Just a quick 3 day stay. Without going into details, he wanted to take his beautiful 2 year old daughter due to severe health problems. He knows he will probably not get another chance with her. I didn't tell any fiends he was coming. But I did tell him that if they had any problems or needed any help, he needed to call me immediately, because I have a lot of friends in the area. I knew without asking that if I asked for some assistance for a friend, the fiends would come through. He told when he got back that it put his wife's mind at ease a little knowing that they had someone they could turn to, even if she didn't personally know who it was.
That's what being a fiend is about. Having friends and a "support system " spread through half the country.
By the way, fiends...thanks for "being there" for my friend's family. You did good, and didn't even know it!
