I'm not quitting yet. No way - No how. Although I did check and see that Jellystone is closed from Nov 28 to March 11.

Our problem is we will have 2 kiddos in the band and every Friday night from around Aug 24th to Nov 5th we have Friday night games. Mid Oct to Nov 6th we will have band comps 3 out of 4 weekends. We will have a football bye week sometime in Sep/Oct but we won't know when until late in the summer when our schedule is finalized. We are wide open during the spring (MLK or Pres Day) and most of the summer (July4). This just may not work for us :gaah:

Well....Excuse me. Why do you think I am not at Fort next weekend (well that and money and 8 hours drive each way but I digress)? :'( I just figured I would put my two cents in....We may could even go during fall but absolutely no way during the mid Oct to 1st week of Nov timeframe. Translation -- I need me some GG time

Any thoughts on when to have it? Can't do this time next year (we have band from end of August to early November. Maybe some time this spring or during the summer?

OK, this report has done it. DW just got wind of it (ohanna??) and declared that we need to go to Smokey mtns, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. A Mtns. GG just may be the ticket!

Good - we now have the informant misinformed and in the dark.

They seem to respond well to t-shirts...... I have some bad news - I have been unable to source a "flippen awesome" . I checked several fireworks stores in SC to no avail. I also have a working copy of Song of the South to replace Lemonade Mouth if it shows up on the Fort Movie list during our stay.

We were at the Blue Ridge festival this weekend and are heading to LaFayette Marching Classic this weekend followed by Old South in Newnan in two weeks. Any chance you may be there also?

We were "victims" on our school district changing the schedule as well. See you at Thanksgiving!
