  1. We have friends with a Dane. I am just cracking up envisioning this in a Airstream. Glad he is doing better.
  2. Nothing better than a visit from Yuri (for us that is!)
  3. We just found out last night that it will be outside of the parks in a place called "Event Group Building" which irronically is just down the street from the Fort (she is going to ask her Band Director if they can make a detour :rofl3: ). It is on Live Oak just off of Vista Blvd. in the backstage areas. They are having a clinic with a Disney composer that will help them put their music to some sort of Disney video. They do this every other year. Last year they performed at the DTD stage. Oh, our Disney Pillow Pet collection is growing also, we now have a Tigger to go with our Stitch. Disn
  4. That will be DD in about a week. Not fair she gets to go but I don't!
  5. Just saw this in the local news. http://www.ajc.com/travel/starbucks-to-open-on-1424190.html Kinda mixed feelings.
  6. You know, I think you need to bring Melvin to SMGG to prove it was photoshopped.....
  7. I know....I shudder to think what I just suggested. At least it isn't a hay field.
  8. Too Cool! I guess will just have to meet up.
  9. We are in Kennesaw which is a northwest suburb of ATL. But it has some strong country roots. I am actually a Florida boy, born and grew up in Cocoa Beach. We moved up here about 12 years ago. At first we really loved it here. The more time has gone by it is not quite as shiny as it once was. I am fortunate that I work close to home but DW has to deal with the dreaded commute. However, we really miss Florida and the Florida Resident Discounts :rofl3: . After our kids move out, we almost certainly are coming back.
  10. My DD will be so jealous! I tried to get her some of those nosebleed domed stadium tickets to no avail. Stef, Awesome TR and I think you have found something pretty cool with this band. Oh, we'll just keep this dated stuff between us and a few fiends!
  11. Ok, I am going to seriously date myself here. I was a fan of Garth Brooks when he played the free stage at the Plant City Strawberry Festival. A few months later you would have paid a fortune to get nosebleed seats in some football domed stadium. It is really cool seeing a big star before they hit it big.
  12. When we were camping one time a squirrel bit through the hose from our propane tank to the grill (a$25 hose). The whole campsite stunk of propane and the sound whistling out of the hose was very loud. That would have been a dead squirrel if I had ever found him. Hope he got high on the fumes and stepped in front of a moving vehicle!
  13. I am pretty sure there are a few drinking references in Country Bear Jamboree. I am also pretty sure even during the Horseshow Revue days, MK was still alcohol free.
  14. We used to make the dinette into a bed and usually without the cushions we would put a pack n play there.
  15. Great update. This may be a first for FFiends. Typhone lagon. :rofl3:
  16. OHHH, I love Cruise TRs' We have thought about taking a cruise out of TPA sometimeyear so I am looking forward to your impressions.
  17. Sorry to hear about your son. Yes, that traffic was unreal. My DW was driving down 75 from ATL to TPA. Took her 9.5 hours when normally would be 6.45. Well your there now and probably just woke up. Fill up that cup of coffee (in a new mug?) and take a deep breath. Enjoy!
  18. Just think, we would get to meet Homer Simpson...He works there, right?
  19. Checking in for a rare Saturday TR. Sorry about your Gators, I was really pulling for the Bulls early on but it was not to be.
  20. That is what I was looking for. I know I had found it once before.
  21. I tried to find an old timetable for Shawnee Airlines which served the STOLPort but apparently it is no longer on the interweb. I remember looking at it several years ago. I did find a great article by Jim Hill that shows a WDW map with an International Airport on it. That would have been interesting. http://jimhillmedia.com/editor_in_chief1/b/jim_hill/archive/2005/03/08/554.aspx
  22. They will typically have an easter egg scramble down by pioneer hall either Sat or Sun. Pretty fun. They also had a treasure hunt one year we went.
  23. Great Update...We are big fans of BPS. I don't know, a GG in the Hayfield could be a winner?
