Look a few post up.  He's back!!!!!!

My husband (po po man) use to think like your husband but now he is urging me to go.  He has heard and seen other reports of group gatherings.   (Not crazy enough to show WWW photos). 

I'm joining this party very late, but better late than never.
 
Some more things to add to the "Missing Fort Magic" list:
 
- Rocking chairs at the Trail's End
- Moose topiary
- Late night DIY pizza buffet at the Trail's End
- Full featured arcade at Trail's End
- Campground "feel" rather than trailer park "feel"
 
Seriously, that last one. Just got home from our most recent trip two weeks ago. While looping with Mrs. Troll, I got thinking, "I might as well just loop the overflow parking lot."
 
Two, three, and sometimes four vehicles parked at each site; Aerosmith-caliber touring busses; work trailers; diesel powered golf cart with monster truck tires; semi trucks to pull mondo fifth wheel trailers; covered work trailers advertising roofing, pressure washing, and landscaping businesses; rumbling Ford F350 pickup trucks; semi truck trailers converted into fifth wheels; golf carts with "La Cucaracha" horns; plastic fences to fence in 10 dogs; and tacky blowups depicting Santa Claus taking a dump.
 
Sucks.

Lou's got them tucked out behind his pool enclosure.  He's saving them to sink the EWP.
 
Now if he could just find some cannon balls on eBay...

Anyone remember when you could buy cap guns at the Pirates ride? They shot little cork balls. And they sold little cannon replicas.
 
I have a pair of flintlock pistols from the 1700's but I'd really like my old Pirate cap guns back!

Since we keep on looking at these folks, how about some introductions?  I assume that you are in these photos.  Which one are you?  And are these all siblings, or cousins, or what?

You probably don't know this, but there was a very long thread on another discussion board that some of us used to participate in where we spent a lot of time looking at an old plan of the Fort, and speculating about whether or not there used to be a cannon on display in that spot.  Some old photos eventually surfaced, but none of those photos were as good as this one.
 
There used to be so many cool things on display all around the Fort.  It's a crying shame that all of them are now gone, and Disney didn't even bother to replace them.

Good job on this tidbit.  I haven't seen a Musket Mickey trashcan anywhere around the Fort lately.  I'm going to go hunt that one down next chance I get.

I finally get to contribe to the board.  New things at the kids clubs.
 
 
I just got a call from Disney about our Kids Club ressie for DD at the Sandcastle Club - Yatch and Beach Club.  
We have DD go here while we eat at Cape May Cafe and Yachtsman.  Disney has add some things about what they do with the kids, Drop off and hours,  and of course they changed the pricing.  We used this our last on property vacation in 2012 and liked it,  you had to make resservations and you booked a specific time to drop of and pick up with a 2 hr minimum.   In 2012 it was $11.50 an hour.  Which considering at home I pay $10 I was happy with the price.    They also fed her what ever she picked off of the kids menu when she was dropped off.    Not bad.  Mom and Dad had a nice peaceful dinner and she got to play with other kids.   It is in a big open room with a bunch of game systems and toys and they did some drawing and coloring.   It is for ages 3-12 as long as potty trained.  Hours are 4:30-11:55pm.  
As of December you still needed to get and prepay reservation.  It is now a drop off of any time during hours 4:30-11:55.  It is a flat rate of $55.  Wether the kid stays 1hr or the whole time.  If you are having a date night the cost isn't too bad.  Since I had booked this 6 months ago when we made dinner ressies I got it for a flat rate of $30 for the night.  They now say some time during the night a character may come in and they are planning to do a cooking type class for example which was not offered before.  
The kids club is overseen by an older adult woman and had a few of the college girls working in them.  My daughter had a great time and asked to go back this trip.
 
If you have any questions I havent thought of I will try and answer.  I grilled the castmember pretty good.

If they only replace the bed then they are full.  I looked at the photos when they came out and compared them to mine and said doesn't look like a queen.  We come from a king and only one of us fits on the full.  (usually its me and the kid and hubs gets the twin).

I did try.  It was really loud.  I said Devores? a couple of times.  Then I didn't want to be a photographer stalker weirdo....lol.  Yes you were with Cinderella.   I just chickened out and took your picture as proof.   I will say the people behind me thought I was really odd.  Taking pictures of the photographer.   Next time I will make a point to say hi.

That didn't take long at all. Lol

We are fighting with our home owners association.  They keep changing the covenant about where we can park vehecles that don't fit in the driveway, but like dave pointed out, they need a quorum to change the covenant and they have never had a quorum at any meeting.  So how can they fine us??

Nope, it won't work for you, however, it's my guess that most people using DME have their luggage taken care of by DME as it's one of the two main marketing features that is used to promote it. That being the case, I think a fair number of people will take advantage of the service.
