  1. One is never too old for Disney characters. We will have to try this on our next trip.
  2. Our son Shawnee LOVES baked sweet potatoes. It was one of the first foods he ate and loved when he got off his feeding tube. And I could eat baked potatoes every day. Thanks for letting us know about these new additions. And we all love corn.
  3. I have stayed in the Contemporary Towers twice. It was beautiful and the room was big enough for all 6 of us...at that time our youngest was under 6.....that was a long time ago when the rooms were about $100 per night. I guess it was in 1977 and 1978. We could never afford to stay there now. And to think we thought $100 a night was bad then. Ah the good old days.
  4. To actually stop and relax. Sleep late, eat late, no rush for anything. And to be able to spend time with our children and my dear hubby without all the other things that usually occupy our time at home.
  5. On December 22, 2008 our precious fragile little 33 month old began having breathing difficulties (he was on oxygen) and then his heart rate began going all over the place. After being up with him all night I told my husband I had to get him to an ER at once. We called 911, told them where we were and in very short time the paramedics arrived. They grabbed Colton up and headed for the truck and I followed and rode with them to Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital. A CM has escorted the paramedics to our campsite. We spent the night at the hospital and in the early morning I was told my baby
  6. Those are great.....and not something everyone will have.....unless of course we all start copying yours. Ha!!!!
  7. Dollywood has the refillable cups. You can purchase a filled one for about $12.95 and then you pay $1.50 to refill anywhere in the park. That, for us, is a good deal. About the only cups/mugs I need to refill at Disney is for coffee at the Trails End. And if I can afford the new Kuerig Coffeemaker (or my children surprise me with one for Mother's Day) I won't even need that. :jumpforjoy
  8. Beautiful pictures and a lot to look forward to. I just wish they had been able to come up with more rides that could accomodate wheel chairs. We can no longer lift Shawnee and Kimberly out of their chairs and into the seats.
  9. Judy can get it for you if anyone can. Contact her asap. Good Luck and have loads of fun.
  10. Yea......I sure missed having HGTV, the Food Chanel and others. Now I will be a really happy camper.
  11. We have only used the fast pass a couple of times when the grandchildren were with us. We went back at the stated time. We did not know you could use them as other times. When entering the Safrai Ride at the AK, we were told by the castmember to go to the fast pass line and she put a card or something one of the wheel chairs. So we did as we were told and over we went and they took us right in. They said we did not need to stand in line with 2 wheel chairs. However, after getting in there we still had to wait a few minutes for Shawnee and me to board and when we returend Ken and Kimb
  12. Give Judy a try.....she is magical.....she can make your December trip possible.
