We've eaten breakfast at TE numerous times and have never made an ADR unless we have a large group.  Unless you're going to be there on a holiday, I think you will be okay.

Much truth in that article. David and I have already been talking about fall 2016 being our last trip there for a good while.  Once our next APs have run out, and since we're on a fixed income, it's getting harder and harder every year to come up with the funds.

Monday, May 4 -- Part 2
 
After Sarah and Marty left, Chris and I went to MK one last time.
 

 
Yes, there still is construction going on in front of the castle.
 

 
We had lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern.  First up was the lobster and crab dip.  Sorry, it was so good and we were too busy eating for a photo.
 
Then we shared the pot roast.  This is half of the meal:

Chris had never seen New Fantasyland, so we walked through the area.

On our way out of the park we got sugar-free raspberry sorbet and sat on the wall near the Plaza Restaurant to eat it.  And who just happened to walk past us?  Mike, who was the first responder to Chris' asthma attack.
 

 
A super-nice guy.  We really enjoyed talking with him.

It was late afternoon when we got back to the Fort.
 

 

 
Chris wanted to go to the Meadow Trading Post, so we caught a bus there.  Then we had to take two buses to get back to the 1700 loop.  On the way we saw these deer:
 

 
And then we saw a mother turkey with her little babies!  Aren't they cute?
 

 
After I turned my scooter back in to Walker Mobility, we had leftover salad and GAG for dinner.  Gretchen makes the BEST salads!
 
Bill needed to get the trailer off the site early the next morning, so Chris and I spent the evening getting all our junk packed into her car.  We turned in early and had a good night's sleep.

Monday, May 4 -- Our Last Full Day at WDW -- Part 1
 
I forgot to mention that Chris, Gretchen, Nicole, and I got a GAG for dinner last night.  Everyone else ate at a park.  I'm not gonna tell the money situation -- MPR and all -- but if Nicole chooses to tell the happenings, it's up to her.
 
We got to sleep early and finally had a good night's sleep.
 
This morning Chris and I took Bill and Gretchen to breakfast at TE.  If you haven't met this wonderful, wacky couple, I encourage you to do so!  They are so much fun!

Saturday, May 2 -- Part 2
 
Later that evening the WW had their potluck dinner, and it was so good!  Can you believe I forgot to take a picture of the food table?  Shame on me!
 
As usual, Carol was busy working.
 

 
So busy that she didn't even notice the birthday cake Jen brought in and these balloons that one of the ladies put beside her:

Great friends, great food, great fun.  What else can a girl ask for?

I was really disappointed that the Mickey and Minnie heads are apparently top heavy.  If I put them on the right way, when I move around they flop over and all you can see is the back of their heads.  So I put them on upside down and at least I can see them the right way.
 
Doug, sorry, I thought about you wanting the sorcerer's hat after it was too late for me to go back and get another one.

Chris and I have been best friends for 42 years.  We met at work and have been inseparable ever since.  If I hadn't moved to another city when I was 4, we would have attended the same high school together.  But God in His wisdom brought us together anyway.
 
When Chris was a little girl, her grandmother made her a rag doll and asked her to guess the doll's name.  After several unsuccessful guesses, the grandmother finally told her the doll's name was Gwendolyn.  And then she went on to tell Chris that one day she would meet a friend whose name was also Gwendolyn.  The rest is history.
 
Anyway, Chris suffers from severe fibromyalgia and asthma (foreshadowing).  We were planning to attend WWW 2014 but her health prevented her from going on the trip, so I went alone.  I had a great time, but all the while I was wishing she could be there to share in the fun.
 
Her health improved, and we happily planned to attend WWW 2015.
 
Thursday, April 30
 
David and I left home a little after 4 am and met Chris at Carowinds about 6 am.  (Unfortunately we now live two hours apart.)  We transferred all my luggage to her SUV and set out on an adventure.  Dawn was just breaking.
 

 
This is Chris, my designated driver.  I hate to drive and she hates to be a passenger, so she drove the entire way.
 

 
Flat Snarky was happy to be riding along.
 

 
We cruised down 77 and soon were on 26.
 

 
Ya'ay, 95!
 

 
Let me say right now we don't travel like Mo and Nicole.  We are two old ladies who have to make frequent pit stops and also stop for meals.
 
We had a leisurely breakfast in Columbia.  A pit stop in Walterboro.  Refueled in Hardeeville, SC.
 
And then we arrived at this beautiful sight.

We refueled again in Deland, FL, and soon arrived at I-4 after admiring the beautiful Florida clouds.  We rarely have clouds like this in NC.
 

 

 
We took 417 from Sanford to the Disney exit, and it was worth every penny!

Two unisex v-neck, one large and one XL.  (Shhh...don't tell Chris I'm buying one for her.)

We love 700.  Primarily because there are no cypress tree droppings to get caught in Kassie's hair.  Also easy travel to the Marina on my scooter.

My new (less than 4 months old) desktop runs Windows 7.  I don't ever want Windows 8.
