  1. Good luck.. Watch out for the Texas floods...
  2. That's great news. I thought Tangled was a much better movie than Frozen! Now if they can make a series starring Merida....
  3. Great advice. I had heard about the hand on the bottom, but not just watching the mirrors. I've attempted backing my PUP about 4 times. First time bringing it home was a breeze. Next times were a disaster. Thank God it's a small older PUP about 1200 lbs. loaded, and everything was asphalt/cement, so all I had to do was drop it and push it into place. I need to find an empty parking lot and go practice some Sunday afternoon.
  4. What you have (i.e. Class A, TT, 5th wheel): 85 Coleman Columbia PUP If you're towing (so TT or 5th wheel) how heavy is it: 1200 loaded If you tow, what is your tow vehicle: 2006 Ram 1500 4 Door Gas mileage: TOWING AROUND 19 MPG @ 55-58 MPH. NOT TOWING HWY. 22 - 24 @ 55 Do you like it, love it or hate it (this applies to both the tow vehicle and what you're towing (or driving if Class A or C): LIKE BOTH If you'd like to make a change, change to what and why: NEWER PUP MAYBE, LESS THINGS TO BREAK BECAUSE OF AGE
  5. That is a really nice layout. We've stayed at the Omni at Championsgate a few times (before they added parking fees and ridiculous resort fees) and loved their lazy river, but it's nothing compared to yours! I spent so much time in it one visit that I wore off the tips of my toes that were dragging along the bottom. Good pick!
  6. Universal has already announced King Kong for 2016, and an entire water park for 2017 Sea World is building a new coaster call Mako that will be 200 feet tall and almost a mile long that will open in 2016. Busch Gardens has started building Cobra's Curse a new spin coaster that will open in 2016 also. Busch is starting to advertise themselves as the Thrill Ride destination for FL. Busch Gardens like Universal is also hindered by the amount of land they have. There is admin space on the backside that they could take over. Of course they are taking down Gwazi so that frees up an area f
  7. It might've been the Orlando World Center Marriot. It's that same sort of truncated V shape design. http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/mcowc-orlando-world-center-marriott/ They do have a big pool and courtyard area in between the wings. It's at the intersection of 536 and 535 across from the Nickelodeon Hotel. You can see it on the S side of I-4 as you're approaching the Downtown Disney area. Not sure when it was built, it's one of those places that just seems like it's always been there.
  8. I read somewhere that getting on Toy Story even at rope drop is now next to impossible without a long wait because of Fast Passes being booked? Is that true?
  9. I'm waiting patiently to see if you visited a certain spot in London.....
  10. Not to be nosey, well heck yes to be nosey, what did they hit you up for resort fees? Are they daily? What are the parking fees if you drive?
  11. I don't mind shopping, as long as it's a Goodwill, DollarTree, yardsale, or Aldi.
  12. Seeing Dave's TR and his great view photos, reminded me that I forgot to add these two less than perfect night view photos. That's Cinderella's Castle to the left side, mid photo is Space Mountain, and to the right of SM is the Contemporary and Bay Tower Part of the Yacht Club
  13. I don't remember that, but it's been years since we stayed there. My daughter was still in the Marines and we took my granddaughter there. That is one nice resort. We couldn't believe how big the rooms were.
  14. After the Indy show we split up for a while. My one daughter, granddaughter and some friends of theirs they ran into went over to the dance party. My other daughter wanted to get to the two special Star Wars shops before they closed at 7:30, so we went with her. There were no lines now, we walked right into both of them. If you like, I mean really like Star Wars, than these were the places for you. The X-Wings Collectible Shop was mostly collectibles and exclusives, and they all had “exclusive” prices. A small matted picture was $40. You could select a figure, then they would scan yo
  15. Don't give them ideas! I don't think they will do this anytime soon, they want drop ins to visit the hotels and spend $$ at the shops and restaurants. Now they might designate a lot for hourly parking and you get a discount if you purchase an item or food and get a pass from the shop.
  16. We stayed at a hotel in Salt Lake city and paid to park the one night we had a rental car. They had a very tiny lot for their valet parking and then they had rented spaces in a shared private garage for the self parkers. I could see charging in this situation since it was in a downtown core with little or no parking available, and I think it was about $8. But to be charged to park at a resort hotel, then end up walking a 1/4 mile to the entrance is just greed. They have the land, the parking lot was built when the place opened years ago, they aren't running shuttles and not even protect
  17. The problem was that we arrived after everyone else. I held up my camera over the heads of the mob in front of us, and got some shots of what everyone was here to see: TCD, you needed a wait for it......SELFIE STICK!! Could've gotten shots over everyone's head.
  18. I have a Black and Decker electric Gator chain saw that has jaws that clamp around a branch up to 6 inches. It works great!
  19. I guess we shouldn't complain, even if we paid all the fees, it would have equaled a one night price before taxes, fees, etc. But, why not ask to have them dropped, it's all gravy to them. Hotels and airlines are working hand in hand with these fees that gouge you at every turn. They know they have you. If you want to stay you will pay. You would think they would rather have customers drive, then they have less shuttles to run to the parks and airports. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress a few years ago and had to pay our first resort fee. But that fee was $10 and included putt pu
  20. If your willing to go a little site clean up. I don't see any use for those nasty trees that drop sap and needles on my tent roof. Please use an electric chain saw instead of gas, let's keep the noise down and have at them Or do like the woman did last Halloween. She had her van on a weird angle on the site with a tent attached. The front was off the driveway on a 45 degree angle. She tried to leave and couldn't back up to leave using the driveway, so she just drove over the smaller trees and stumps. And we got the keep your tires on the pavement letter!
  21. I'm sure Anna would be a better driver than the ones I saw over Memorial Day in the 1500 loop. Was heading to the CS and got passed by a cart with a girl driving. She looked like she was maybe 13. She goes up the sidewalk to the CS. There was already a cart parked next to it so she goes up to the men's room doorway and tries to back into the spot next to this other cart. Of course she rams the handrail in front of the doorway and gets hung up. maneuvering occurs until she get off the sidewalk. If someone had opened the door while she drove up it would've been a serious issue. Well tu
