  1. Just realized I cant really say much about the Trolls rants because we haven't done any of these things. Well we've been to the Polly, but last time we were there the construction walls were still up. Hope you just had a glitch at Ohana and it's not in a downward spiral.
  2. We went to EPCOT this past weekend after going to Hollywood Studios. It wasn't terribly crowded, but HOT! We tried these Botanas Botànico Seafood CevicheWhite Corn Arepa Coconut Tres Leches My daughter had gotten the ghost pepper dusted tilapia and had me try it. Everything was good. I really liked the ceviche. The big highlight was getting to see the Taiko Drummers. We made it to Germany then backtracked to the International gate and left to go check in at our hotel and relax.
  3. Troll, you need to tell us how you really feel. Seems like you are holding back on your opinions!
  4. Just got back from a weekend trip to Disney. Stayed off property and had every intention of hanging out by the pool today until checkout. But the kids got breakfast reservations at Whispering Canyon for 7:45. So after breakfast we headed to MK. We were over by BOG around 1:15 and were able to walk in. We had about a 10 minute wait to get to the ordering kiosks. I was still full from breakfast and the Dole Whip (another story) we had just finished. My wife got the Quiona salad, my granddaughter got the kids Mickey Meatloaf, and I got the kids braised pork, and we got the cupcake with the gr
  5. I went with the 6 plys. Hopefully I'll be able to find somewhere that can pump up,to 90 pounds and a gauge that can read that high.
  6. I saw that. I was just wondering if the extra pressure/harder tire would make for a too rough ride for a 30 year old PUP.
  7. See any problems if I go up to a 6 ply? They are the same price as the 4s
  8. Yeah, a TA on that other FB site mentioned it. Then a couple of the TA's started getting snippy with each other and the admin pulled the entire thread. When I tried to mod my 14 day September stay it wouldn't give me 3 days, but as soon as I opened it to 5 it went right in. Could've been a coincidence or a conspiracy! And it's not necessarily locals vs. out of towners as much as it is Disney hiding weekends until you take a week or two then like magic they are available. People aren't dumb, and they learned to play the game according to Disney's rules or lack of.
  9. Don't think they would clear, plus don't really need to raise it. Owners manual says 4.8x8 at 60 psi. No ply rating. They also did say that you should follow the tire mfg. suggestions. Who knows what was on there originally. When I was looking at the 4 plys on line I didn't think their weight rating was high enough, that's why I'm leaning towards the 6. I was shocked last night when I looked at the current ones and they were only 2 ply. That's a pretty interesting link.
  10. Quick recap Policy changed 4/1 per another camping FB page. If there aren't openings for the reduced days you want when you try to lower the amount you have, they cannot/will not change the reservation. Agent and Supervisor told me that. Even though you have the days you want in your current res. they do not count that as an opening. Few days later the other site posted about calling in and being told the agent was sending the request to customer service? and you would get an answer in 24 hours. I tried calling again, and that did happen, and within about 5 hours MDE showed my modifie
  11. Getting the PUP ready for our month end trip. Bought it used last year, it's an 85 Coleman. Total weight with hitch and stored items is a GVWR 1330 lbs. and GAWR axle rating of 1180.. Previous user had said the tires were about 2 years old when we bought it.. They look good, still have the little nubs sticking out. But when I looked for the manufacturing date, it looked like it was 2010. So I figure it's time for new ones. They are small, 4.80 x 8 and they say 2 ply. I can get replacement tire/wheel combo at a Harbor Freight up the street for around $30. They say road, high spe
  12. Try for the cable modem from the Trading Post. That's your best bet. Some people have said that their home cable modems have worked at the Fort.
  13. There have been a lot of great suggestions. Previously, before she really messed up her knee, I was going to try to make a couple of half steps (look like a shoe box) to break up the drop from the doorway to the first step, then another one from the step to the ground using a simple 2x4 frame, a piece of plywood for the top, and some non slip strips on the bottom. I'm going to be at Disney this weekend, so I won't have time to mess around with it until the following weekend.... or unless I get a burst of energy to work on it after I get home from work at night.....
  14. good idea, thanks Not to sure how sturdy the pup is, its an 85, but who knows, it might be stronger than the newer ones !
  15. aLooks great, thanks for the quick response.
  16. Railing would be good, but nowhere to anchor it to the pup.
  17. The step is the side on the camper where the door goes. Side flops open and inside is solid for the step. I don't have a lot of extra room, so I need something compact. ,the pup,is only 8x8. I'll try to take some measurements.
  18. Looks good. Just don't know if the steps would work/fit over top of the current step. I'll have to take some measurements when I open it up. And I don't think the ramps would have a place to anchor, but it looks impressive.
  19. I had started looking at them, but the couple of simple ones I saw didn't have a weight limit listed.
  20. We have a small Coleman pop up with 1 fold out step. The drop from the floor to the first step had been a problem for my wife in the past, but she recently hurt her knee and I can see it being a much bigger issue when we camp the end of the month. Are there any simple small ramps out there, or even steps that would slide over the current step? Even before she hurt her knee, I was thinking of making a couple of small 2x4 plywood topped boxes to add an extra step or two sort of like 1/2 steps, 1 on the fold out, and 1 on the ground. But I don't want to have to reinvent the wheel and was
  21. We had the AP the first year it opened before the waterpark was there. We had gotten an really good upgrade from a days admission to the APs, and at that time parking was included. We have wanted to go back again, and the Awesomer Pass does look like the way to go, especially with the 3 Orlando attractions added. For us it's only a little over an hour to get there, and since it's not as crazy as WDW, you aren't too tired driving home. Decisions, decisions...
