  2. www.blackstoneproducts.com Made the mistake of going inside my local Lowes 2 nights ago while my wife was looking at plants outside. I stumbled across this patio oven mixed in with the grills, and lo and behold it had one of the bright yellow markdown stickers on it. It was still a hefty $174, but it was marked down from $299. We went home and did some research. These ovens will cook a fresh pizza in 3 to 5 minutes. You can also cook meat, veggies, and baked goods in it. The price range on them is anywhere from $350 to $450. Every review we found on them was glowing ( we did
  3. No necessarily dumb, entitled and living in the land of one. Rules don't apply to these people, everyone around them is beneath them and should feel blessed that they are even in these jackholes presence!
  4. Interesting, and I hope they really do enforce it. Now if they have a crew walking around in the paths with sawz-alls to chop them in half along with the Brazillian banners, they would be finally getting somewhere. We can only hope.
  5. eticketride, run while you can! The wheels came off this bus rather quickly this time and it veered down a totally different interstate from what you asked! You can tie off to trees, but some aren't in a good enough spot to utilize or be useful. I made poles to stretch my tarp over the tent. Worked real good one time and so-so the next. Welcome to the asylum where the inmates are in charge.
  6. I would add an hour extra onto what ever travel time you are quoted. I-4 coming into Tampa is a parking lot most mornings and then then Hwy 60 from Tampa to Clearwater can be stop and go. Once you get there it's a fun place. Make sure you take the included side trip over to the part that has the movie props. You can either go by boat or bus.
  7. Even if it is true, do you really think Disney is going to enforce it? Are they going to confiscate them as you get on a ride? The people will just wait until the ride starts and then open them up and start snapping away. They aren't going to stop the ride and take them away once you leave the platform.
  8. Ropes and bungees are great. You can never have too many of them!
  9. We have tied to trees more than once and no one has told us we couldn't. But with the Forts odd way of enforcing rules, who knows. If you are worried, you could put a sling around the trunk or branch then tie your line to that.
  10. Yup, a fun place. I was looking to get something going with more smaller home grown types of attractions, concerts and festivals. Who knows, your favorite artist might be performing an hour away and unless you were checking the local and regional news you wouldn't even know. I have no problem posting links to upcoming events and local types of attractions. Did you know about an hour north of Tampa you can see mermaids performing daily?
  11. I agree, it's not a big park, but depending on what rides you want to go one, they can have long lines. Of course nothing like the Mine Train lines. It takes forever for the attendants to get the kids situated on some of the rides, like the jousting one. I think it takes them longer to get them strapped in, than the length of time they are on the ride. And most of the rides are geared for the grade school thru middle school ages. But it is a relaxing park and it has shade!
  12. Give yourself some extra time for the drive to see Winter. Traffic in the Tampa Bay area came be really frustrating at times. LEGOLAND can be done in 1 day if you are rushing or depending on your sons age and what rides are appropriate and how much time you spend walking around the miniature cities. They have added the waterpark so that takes up some time, and the LEGOLAND hotel opens next month.
  13. For the adventuresome people that have the time to take a day trip and not go to Disney, here's a suggestion. http://www.lowryparkzoo.org/lantern/ Now until May 31, Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa is hosting Zoominations, a Chinese Lantern Festival nightly from 6-10 or 6-11. It's an extra charge for the festival. You can purchase just a ticket for the festival, or a combo zoo/festival ticket. The festival tickets are $25, but if you look on Groupon or Living Social you can get them at 1/2 price. Our family went Friday night and had a great time. We used to be zoo members, and went yearly t
  14. I read about tuftandneedle.com. They seem to have a good product also.
  15. I'm guessing that if you're in a big enough accident to affect your propane, it's not going to matter much if it was on or off.
  16. My philosophy for quite a while. When I was younger I wanted things with all the bells and whistles! As you get older and you learn to repair all of those neat extras that break and cost a fortune to have someone repair, you realize that they aren't worth it in the long run. My current truck was a pretty much stripped down FL special, AC, auto, power steering, and radio cd player. No power window, locks, cruise etc. And it has been reliable for the past 13 years.
  17. So if you fill up before you arrive you should be good? I was at Goodwill the other day and they had an Eggtoberfest tee shirt on the rack. Looked brand new
  18. With what everyone has been saying about a skylight, and CW service let's just hope you won't be "Singing in the Rain" in the middle of your kitchen!
  19. It's a shame that the repair cost will be so high. Everything is so crammed together that a simple fix is now a major undertaking where you have to take 1/2 the vehicle apart. Bar's is a very good product. I would try that route, run it around town, hit the interstate for a 50 mile round trip and see if it helped any. And I would go up on viscosity if you can. it can't hurt.
  20. Good luck whichever way you decide to go. I haven't looked for a new vehicle in 13 years, my 2002 ram is still going strong. Needs some minor repairs. I would keep it until it dies, but I just found a deal that I couldn't pass on.
  21. What do you need propane for with your herd of Eggs? I would think you need a lump charcoal deliver truck!
