  1. Or the locals that are always traveling with different users with APs and trying to link them together for similar FPs. Seems like you spend more time at kiosks or on line trying to get the darn things set up correctly.

  6. HAH, I did the same thing. All I saw was Disney and BVD. Thought Disney and BVD were coming out with a new line of Frozen Underwear!
  7. May not have changed. We tried to purchase our FL AP on line back in February using multiple gift cards and the on-line site wouldn't allow it. I called and they couldn't do the purchase over the phone but said I could go to a Disney store and exchange multiple cards for one. Store couldn't do it so we ended up stopping at Downtown Disney to purchase the passes.
  8. Hah, we had to do that last year when we booked HDDR over the phone and didn't realize I was going to be paying up front. Got all thru the booking process when the agent says what credit card are you charging that to? Had to put down the phone while we scrambled around the house trying to locate our gift cards then scratching off the nasty silver stuff to get to the secret #s. What a hassle and mess.
  9. Only child..... When I was growing up portable transistor radios were just coming out. Back then the first ones out probably cost as much an iPhone does now. Couple of years later all the knock-offs came out and the prices got reasonable.
  10. When I went on car trips you got to listen to whatever AM radio station your parents were listening to and the sound came out of 1 speaker in the dash. You sat in the back seat and read comic books, regular books, ate, slept and maybe had a couple of small toys with you to keep you occupied.
  11. You youngsters have it easy. Way back when before portable DVD players you had to haul around an all in one TV/VCR, and those bad boys wouldn't hang off a seat to save your life!
  12. Man this story brings back memories! My oldest moved out to Omaha in 2001. We took a road trip out to visit her the next summer with our other 3 kids, but they were all teens. I did the same thing, removed a middle seat from our MPV, bungee'd an all in one TV down and took off. I heard Office Space dozens of times, but have yet to ever see the entire movie!. While we were out there I bought them all headphones and audio cable splitters. Didn't have to hear any more movies on the way home.
  13. Boy, you miss a lot of fun and drama by just doing that!
  14. You may have a problem parking in the overflow lot. Halloween is one of the days they crack down on non guests getting into the Fort parking lot.
  15. You didn't offer to buy them a Main Street Cinnamon Bun!
  16. Welcome. Have you made your reservations yet? If not, get moving, it might already be too late. And read the threads about the issues cancelling days if you overbook. Some new policies are in effect. Halloween is a blast. We stayed there last year and had my 2 granddaughters. There is a lot to see and do that is just done for those few days, pet costume parade, pumpkin carving, site decorating, decorated golf cart parade, special "spooky" movies at the campfire (with a visit by the Headless Horseman) and of course trick or treating. If you take the kids out, you probably wont be a
  17. He didn't walk very far. Kind of went between two of the cars. I thought he was going to walk in place around the majority of the rim. There were a lot of cables and braces in his path that he had to climb over or ease around.
  18. Nick Wallenda is walking on the outside of the eye tomorrow 4/29 around 8 or 8:30 a.m. Tampa TV is carrying it live so I'm sure Orlando stations will also if you can't make it over there.
  19. And I heard that Legoland had a rough time getting permission from Disney to build Star Wars figures in their park.
  20. We got a partial site discount for a September weekend, but we had to do the unspeakable and book 2 weeks just to get a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. I'll be canceling the extra days next week.
  21. I was hoping it was a mis-print and it was really a recipe for butter beer !
  22. I usually do credit at the pumps, but I always wondered what use entering a zip code for the credit card billing address does. If you lost/had your wallet or purse stolen, the thief probably got something with your address/zip on it along with your credit card. I got gas the other morning, the pump prompted me twice for my zip. About an hour later I checked my account and saw an extra entry for a $1 besides the amount of gas I purchased. I called the Circle K and they said it was normal and the $1 would drop off after a few hours (it did). Gave me a scare, I thought it had been skimmed
  23. I'm sure Jason already tried, but have you opened up your availability dates?
  24. And should have hit the horn a few times to make sure you didn't forget anyone.
  25. Reminds me of a soft serve ice cream stand we went to after moving to Tampa. All they served was vanilla, no chocolate. Asked him why and he claimed that the chocolate wouldn't freeze up in the FL heat. Thought that was a poor answer since a place about 2 miles away had both plus swirled.
