Travisma got a reaction from Cyclonic in A couple of Admin Items Noted on this Trip
2. In addition to the $1000 charging limit (then once charged to your card it resets), apparently there is a total trip limit to protect your account
So Carol, what you're saying is that after you buy 2 hotdogs, a beer and a cinnamon roll, your card will no longer work because you reached its limit?

Maybe they will cover them in plastic branches and make them look like Sequoias.
PS, I can't see the pictures, my work PC blocks links to imaging sites so I'm just imagining what they look like!

I don't know either, but its only going to get worse when the Broadway play opens. I actually liked Tangled better, but to each his/her own.

They are planning where to set off the sink hole that will swallow the Fort.
This will save them on demolition costs and speed up the River Country DVC project.
It will get rid of those undesireable campers and get some real $$ flowing.
Why rent out a space for $125 a night when you could get $450 a night?

Travisma got a reaction from cindymac11 in Your Favorite Park Carry-in
San Antonio was where we purchased our Platinum Passes. We were in Houston for my granddaughters birthday and drove to SeaWorld to get the passes. We got two years for all these parks
Unlimited admission at these SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment locations: SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Diego, SeaWorld San Antonio, Aquatica Orlando, Aquatica San Antonio, Aquatica San Diego, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Sesame Place (PA), Adventure Island (FL), & Water Country USA (VA). Special rates at Discovery Cove in Orlando, FL. for less than just Orlando Seaworld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica for 1 year. There was no big 1 day admission down payment. They took the cost divided by 24 and that's all I had to pay that day and got billed monthly after that. They are automatic renewal and they haven't raised the rates after they expired, My wife found the deal for us. I was shocked at the price difference between Texas and Florida. And our insulated backpack has the Miller Lite logo on it too. Must've been some promo that the people didn't want and donated it to Goodwill.

Travisma got a reaction from BradyBzLyn...Mo in Should I bring our wireless router?
Grumpy and Grandma and TCD are correct, get it from the Meadow.
Deposit is no longer required. I can't remember if I even showed any ID or magic band. They do ask your site number, then you sign the checklist showing all the parts they give you. Everything comes in a handy tote bag.
They supposedly are in demand and in short supply, so go get one as soon as you're done setting up.
Instructions are included for hooking up the modem, and if you want to hook up the coax to your tv (coax splitter included).
The coax cable connection is in a small box on your power pole.
It's fairly simple to hook up your own wireless router. I don't remember if they give you a Cat 5 patch cord, so bring one with you.
Have everything powered off when you are hooking up the cables.
Then power on the cable modem and let the blinking lights settle down, usually a minute or 2.
Now it's time to turn on your router. Again, let the lights settle down. You should see a LAN and a WAN light if everything is connected properly (and if you have those lights on your router).
Finally try to connect to a good internet site with your wireless device. I usually use Google.com.
NOTE. If your wireless router is provided by your cable provider and it's built into your internet box/modem/switch, it may not/probably won't work.
You need to use a plain old wireless router/switch.
I was tired of the slow wireless speeds I was getting with my providers equipment, so I ended up buying a used N router (ask your kids) from a pawn shop and hooking that up. Craigslist is a good source also.
That's the piece I brought to the Fort.
We have a small pop up, so the Fort modem, my router, the assorted cables and power supplies got installed underneath our dinette bench. If you do put them in an enclosed space make sure you have some sort of air flow/ventilation. They do build up heat.
Using this setup, I had full wi-fi coverage around my site for phones and tablets.

Travisma got a reaction from BradyBzLyn...Mo in Disney lanterns
Stopped at K-Mart last night. Got a Tink figurine holding an LED lantern, a Mickey with a light up gazing ball, and a light up globe with a Mickey figure inside on a pole about 3 foot tall. They had the Tink lantern that Derek got, but it was missing the light assembly. I asked them if the would discount it since the major piece was missing, and they said they would take off a whopping 10%. WOW what a bargain.
They had Mickey and Minnie figurines holding lanterns, Mickey on a motorcycle, various Disney planters, garden signs, and a 2 foot+ tall lighthouse with Mickey standing in front of it. The light at the top lit up and possible revolved. They also had the pathway marker lights on the sticks with Mickey, Minnie, or Pluto sitting on top of them.
They also had a couple of Mickey/Minnie garden fountains. Even marked down they were up around $90.
If you check KMart.com, they have some of the items marked down, plus they have a cute video showing the figures lit up.

Shooting a commercial for the new "Fort Not So Wilderness" DVC.
They are showing how all of the dirty, filthy, nature infested real tress will be removed and replaced with authentic fiberglass replicas. Allergy free so Buffy and Tad don't get the sniffles while enjoying nature!

Travisma got a reaction from BradyBzLyn...Mo in Star Wars Land and Cars Land Coming in five year construction plan?
Significant ‘Star Wars’ Presence Planned for Disney Theme Parks
Variety August 5
The Walt Disney Co. plans for “a far greater ‘Star Wars’ presence” in its theme parks, company chief Bob Iger said Tuesday.
The first look at new attractions based on the sci-fi franchise, beyond “Star Tours” that currently operates at several of its parks, will be revealed next year, Iger said during a conference call with analysts to discuss Disney’s record third quarter results.
The move comes as Disney is readying to release a new “Star Wars” film in theaters starting Dec. 18, 2015, that J.J. Abrams is currently directing.
Lucasfilm and Disney also will host Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim on April 16-19, while “Star Wars” is expected to have a major presence at the D23 Expo, Aug. 14-16, again from the Anaheim Convention Center.
Disney opted not to inject more “Star Wars” into its parks until its $4 billion acquisition of the company was complete. Deal also gives it the Indiana Jones franchise, already represented by a ride and stunt show at Disney’s resorts.
During the call, Iger said when Disney now decides to build new attractions, “the likelihood of their success is greater” when they’re branded. “When we grow ‘Star Wars” presence, which we will do significantly, you will see better bets being made that will pay off for us than were made in the past,” adding that leveraging the collection of popular franchises and properties that the company owns for rides and experiences will deliver “better returns than we saw in the past.”
