  1. Ben reprised his role as Six Bits at last night's HDDR performances. Were any of you there?
  2. I was seriously contemplating this, but I have a terrible Sea Urchin Foam allergy, so unfortunately I'm out.
  3. Has anyone dined here? Know anyone that has? Dinner costs $15,000 for 12 people. And I thought Disney Cruises were expensive. Only one group per night can dine, so I guess exclusivity has a price. And apparently it's $15k. https://www.eater.com/2018/9/17/17846692/disneyland-resort-21-royal-cost-exclusive-dining-experience
  4. I was thinking cost prohibitive for the customer. How much must the dog sitting cost? Aren't there local dog sitters? The whole thing makes no sense to me, but I find that to be the case a lot lately.
  5. Yes, and be sure you look UP. I always have to remind my kids, if they are helping spot, to not only look for obstacles on the ground but look out for tree branches above...especially in state parks and similar places.
  6. Does this pricing formula apply for airport trips too? I think they were previously charging $150 each way.
  7. This may be a stupid question, but isn't that cost prohibitive?
  8. I dare you to submit a request to the sommelier team to bring a box of Franzia.
  9. Now they're gone. I wonder if it's related to how you organize your pics in Google Photos. Do you move them into albums? Is the album set to "Public"? Another thing I wondered about is your picture file size. I assume you take photos with a good camera. Are the photo files perhaps too large for using the URL to post here? I hope this gets resolved!
  10. I currently see both pictures. There's no guarantee I'll be able to see them tomorrow.
  11. I guess it's what you get used to. Over 30 years in Buffalo without A/C and did fine. Obviously it's not the hottest place on the planet, but there were lots of warm nights. After we moved south, we cranked up the A/C and got soft. LOL.
  12. Very strange....I saw it earlier when Tony posted it. It's a pic of the food truck at the Fort. But now I can't see it.
  13. Sometimes I don't even feel like we're the family of the day in our own home.
  14. Same here. When we dined there and had pizza it was a great meal. Then a year or two later we did a CP dinner package and ordered quite a few things from the menu, and most of it was disappointing.
  15. Oh wow, you just changed the equation for me. That's a LOT cheaper than a Disney Cruise, and I've considered booking another one just for the Mickey Bars.
  16. Ha! As my tongue was firmly planted in my cheek when I typed that, I wondered who would make that correction. You win!
  17. This is better than 24 hours of Disney. For those events, they had to pay CM's to staff the park for 24 hours, but only charged guests a 1 day ticket. Now, they charge guests essentially 2 days worth of ticket cost, but only have to staff the park an extra 3 hours. Brilliant!
  18. Wow, August in Georgia without A/C. You are a brave man. My wife would have ditched me and walked to a hotel.
  19. We actually have never eaten there either. My personal concern with this is the impact to Territory Lounge, as we did enjoy that. I've made AP reservations over the years for a date night, but we always ended up canceling, primarily as the menu didn't really appeal to us, and we are more "drinks and appetizers" people rather than sit down meal/bottle of wine people.
  20. Right...I forgot about that one. I will update my post. Thanks.
  21. One thing that doesn't make sense to me is Disney taking away WL's Signature restaurant. There are currently 8 Deluxe Resorts at WDW, and at this point every one of them has walking access to at least one Signature restaurant, per the chart below that I put together. The only 2 Deluxe resorts that do not have their own Signature restaurant are Beach Club, which you could argue shares Yachtsman Steakhouse with the Yacht Club and the Poly, which has walking access to the 3 Signature restaurants at the GF (not to mention being a monorail resort which provides a significant draw by itself and pr
  22. I see that last one, Tony. Since it worked this time, you likely know this, but when I post pics from my Google Photos, I copy and paste the URL by using right-click, Copy image address, then paste that LONG address here on FortFiends using the Insert other media button, Insert image from URL. I hen add "?.jpg" onto the end before hitting enter (not including the quote marks). It's a bit of a convoluted process, but in reality it only takes a few seconds, plus I like Google Photos overall. It seamlessly integrates with my phone and laptop, automatically backs everything up, and
  23. Ok that's the same I found. I expect that may be the last day they'll be serving dinner under the current menu sans characters.
