I see full hookup available those weeks, including the weekend of the 12/6-8. But not preferred or premium. And if trying to check in the weekend of 11/30, that might be problematic as Thanksgiving is so late next year, so that weekend if part of Thanksgiving week.

Based on what you've described, 800 or 900 jumps out at me. Not near dog park or playground, tend to be large sites, and toward the back of the loops the sites back up to a drainage canal/ditch with nothing behind.

That's why they are dredging the canal to get the Disney ships to Bay Lake. They will dock at the new DCL resort.

I wouldn't mind trying one of those huge ships sometime but I'd be a bit nervous about the crowds and sheer size of the thing. We've been on the Disney Dream which is about 4,000 passengers...I can't imagine 67% more. The new Virgin ship sounds pretty cool....around 2000 passengers, which is a lot for the "luxe" ship category. And no buffet and no main dining room. There will be around 20 dining spots you can choose from, all made to order, and each restaurant will have a bar so I think you could choose to sit at the bar and have a bite to eat. There is room for a building about the size of Mission: Space between The Seas and The Land. Not that I expect anything to be built there. The Seas is a huge pavilion as it is, and I'd think it could be updated in a pretty exciting way if they wanted to do it.

I bet you saw Ben working the Frozen show. He's pretty funny. And I think that tower is for the new Skyliner gondolas. Sounds like you are having a great trip.

That's really not all that bad when you consider what it costs for a comparable amount of gas at Ohana.

We typically stay in 500 and the walk is not much further than from 700. Depending on where in the 500 loop you are, I find the quickest route by foot is to exit the back of the loop by the comfort station (which is across the road from 700) and hang a right. It's prob a 5 min walk from there.
