Sorry, it's been hectic! But yes, we bought it and are in Orlando. It wasn't quite as dreamy as the seller made it sound: many cosmetic issues and a couple of minor systems (like a Fantastic Fan is out), but we got the price where we were comfortable and pulled the trigger. I'll post more when I have a keyboard!

BTW, since the seller's pictures were so dark I went in and adjusted them. The improved photos are here in this gallery (if anyone is interested): http://photos.thatssanta.com/Other/2004-Revolution/n-R5Nkx8 The plan now is to drive down Sunday, inspect it on Monday, park it at the Fort on Tuesday... ok, I'm making that last step up.

Had an extended conversation with the seller this morning and a red flag went up. He said all of the windows have some degree of fogging (except the drivers' because it has already been fixed). He says he has an appointment to have them all resealed at the end of this month, or I can take it as-is and he'll knock the $1400 he was quoted off the price. What would you do? Wait for the fix and hope it doesn't sell in the next 3 weeks? Take the discount and have them done yourself? Or run away from the whole deal? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Man I hope you're wrong! If it is a scam, it's by someone who knows a good bit about RVs. They mention the MCD day/night shade upgrade, and in texts with me mention that the two front tires are new, which is what would be suggested if someone wasn't willing to replace them all. The seller hasn't been very communicative, though, so we'll see. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The biggest problem I am aware of is the rear tires are original rubber, so I think I'd want to change them before even driving it home (11 hours). Seller is the second owner, and it's not a repo, clean title. I will certainly question him about the mileage and maintenance history before driving down. I'm hoping to see some basement, engine compartment, and genny pictures soon, which can be a clue as to how well it's been maintained. LOVE the MCD power privacy shades he's added. Two other things that make this unit really shine versus others we've been looking at is the side-mounted radiator a

Just a reminder for servicemen, since military-discount party tickets are not available in advance, they are always available the day of the party at the gates... even when the party is sold-out that day. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'd go every year if I could, but the prices are making it less of a deal each year. Really, the only time we even go to MK is for MVMCP or MNSSHP. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What you have (i.e. Class A, TT, 5th wheel): 28' TT If you're towing (so TT or 5th wheel) how heavy is it: 6000 If you tow, what is your tow vehicle: Toyota Tundra Crewmax Gas mileage: 9.5-10 Do you like it, love it or hate it (this applies to both the tow vehicle and what you're towing (or driving if Class A or C): Love the truck, and love the way it handles the load. Worst part about the truck is the tank is so small versus our old moho... have to stop for gas way too often. Not very happy with the build quality of the R-Vision Trail-Lite product. We are seriously looking at used diese

Pooh-Sized Finds?
Santa ... Shannon replied to Santa ... Shannon's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Hey Carol, that's what I remember from previous trips, too. This last trip they had nothing in 4x and nothing I'd wear in 3x. Used to be they'd at least have a "four parks, one world" kind of shirt with the year in bigger sizes. -
I'd skip the skylight, especially if the roof is flat not crowned. If you need more light, upgrade to larger fixtures and/or use LED bulbs with a higher output (i.e. use a 10 watt "equivalent" to replace a 5 watt incandescent which is ok because the LED probably actually uses less than 1 watt and puts off far less heat than the 5 watt). I was very disappointed on our last trip when I did not find a SINGLE tee shirt in my size. I know I'm not the only one who needs something larger than an XXL. Usually the biggest I can find is 3X, but I really need 4X. Honestly, Disney's merchandisers should step into the parks occasionally and look at the average guest. If they did, I'm sure there'd be a big & tall shop at DTD! Anyway, I was hoping we could start a thread here where a Fiend on the scene, who happens upon a Pooh-sized Disney shirt, can post a picture and share the location. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

1 year, cross country and back- it's Now or Never
Santa ... Shannon replied to ependydad...Doug's topic in Regular Vacations
For your Atlanta stop, there is a nice CG north of the mayhem in Woodstock, GA, Victoria Campground at Lake Alatoon. Its a CoE park so it's pretty cheap, has HUGE sites and lots of them with water views. There is no sewer but that shouldn't be a factor if you're overnighting/short-staying. There is a good dump station. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
We have stayed in 300 several times (356 being our fav! LOL) and have never had a "canine chorus", except perhaps during the fireworks... but you ain't gonna sleep through that anyhow! I would think any site in 200 or 300, on the inside of the loop (less headlights) and mid-way around (quiet) would be the ticket. Of course, inside means closer neighbors. I've never felt like I was sharing my patio with the neighbors at the Fort, though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
