  1. Don't forget the Brother Bear River Rapids ride coming to Epcot's Canada in 2018! Or the great Milk Cart Getaway ride featuring the Aristocats at Epcot's France pavillion! Oh the future's so bright!
  2. That's what I was talking about, used, stock Crickets on CL.
  3. Yeah, and the long awaited Mulan Mongolian horde ride will finally debut at China in Epcot, and the Aladdin Magic Carpet coaster will follow roughly 2 years later in Morroco.
  4. If you're going to be at the Boardwalk, we really liked Flying Fish. It is a dimly lit, modern, adult setting and the food was excellent. It's been a few years, so look at recent reviews.
  5. Usually I am Santa wherever I go, unless a parent clues me in that they don't want me interacting with their child as Santa. Then I will be aloof and mysterious about my identity, and answer with open ended responses.
  6. Crickets are just soooo bloody expensive! Ive had a regional Craigslist search running for months and, even used, the cheapest I've found is about $3200!
  7. What a bunch of haters! The guy could have spent his millions on Prevosts and helicopters but chose to do something creative and cool. With the intention of spending quality time with his daughter, I might add. Besides, if we ever have a Manhattan sided chunk of asteroid coming our way we may need to strap a drill on it to save the planet!
  8. Who gives a wet-slap what happens at DL? Never been, can't imagine going. Apparently the vaguely remembered rumor for the parks I'm uninterested in was about the moving of their Electric Light Parade, which I also care nothing about. Whatever. I didn't claim any knowledge at that point, but I committed to go and research. And I did. And I didn't come back with reports from other rumor mills, or opinions of bus drivers. I came back with a first-hand report from someone integrally connected to the attraction. So, you don't like my points go earn some of your own... where's the water wagon, what
  9. Wow, who's the dude with the embarrassingly short beard? Oh, sorry, that's obviously an Epcot host uniform. Nice selfie, Lou!
  10. Oh, and if don't drive more than 9-10 hours anymore, if I can help it. ETA: A TT, especially a long TT is about the hardest to drive, especially backing. They also involve a lot of setup and are the bounciest even when setup. Class As are probably the easiest.
  11. Well, do you have need of a pickup truck? How about a real beefy pickup? If yes to the former, then a TT might be in order, if the later, perhaps a 5er. I don't much care for the cabins of the Cs I've sat in, so, IMO, if you don't need a pickup a class A is the easy choice. If an A, I would certainly be disposed to add a tandem-tow, and a cart, and a smallish dinghy (but one big enough to tow the tandem-tow and cart if we ever got into a situation). That said, I really like our Tundra-TT combo. Drives nice, and pretty cheap. No cart, though.
  12. I'll give you boys some of my points if you promise to play nicely.
  13. I believe weekdays are less crowded as this party is popular with locals.
  14. Military discounts are available on the day of the party only, and are sold even when the event is sold out to the public. The discount is about $20 and is available on these dates: September 1, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, & 28.
  15. Just for the record, I said 6 months ago that my connection in Technical Services (the guys who DO the lights) at the Studios said Osborne wasn't going anywhere in 2014. Just sayin...
  16. Had someone steal my business card clamshell holder off my truck. Seriously, a holder full of Santa's cards? No shame!
  17. I would not feel at ease with the locking device Camping World sells, that just locks it to your cable. Unplug the protector, cut the end off your camper cable and away. A chain and two locks would seem to be a better bet... at least make them damage the protector to make off with it!
  18. Yeah, ideally you'd order tickets no later than 74 days out from your first park day (60 FastPass window+14 day shipping), so October 18 from today.
  19. One of these years we will be finished with this house, and will pack it in and move to FL! That will be the year I actually get to see the Candlelight Processional, and see the national interpreters, and all the resort decorations. Until then I am blessed to have the time with the kiddos that I do!
  20. Yes, indeed. Hope to meet you and many other fiends!
  21. Ok, back to planning my trip! We have ressies for the Fort beginning on Nov 3 through the 21st, but I have to be back in Raleigh by the 15th for my first event. We want to hit Food & Wine multiple days before it ends on the 10th. And I want to get in as much Christmassy stuff as possible before leaving. I have plans to do MVMCP, probably on the 7th. And Osborne should be going by the 10th(?). What else might be done by then? It doesn't sound like the Fort or WL will be decorated. The Gingerbread house will be under construction. Will the icon trees be up at the parks? I assume DHS will, an
