  1. c. Strollers larger than 36" x 52" (92 cm x 132 cm). can this rule also apply to transportation? I hope I dont offend anyone, but this is one of my big pet peeves at Disney. The huge strollers, people who dont seem to know how to work them, and the older kids riding in them! Your 12 year old doesn't need to be in a stroller! If it is a child or person with a disability ok but I have seen more kids 6 plus in strollers over the last year then I care to think about. If your kid is that tired then take them back to where you're staying for a rest. And the people with the large strollers who get
  2. What they are not all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful? Was just talking about the Fort busses they aren't to bad.
  3. Welcome A cart is nice to have depending on how much time you will be spending at the Fort but by no means a necessity. The busses are very efficient, and if in doubt ask a buss driver or get on youll get someplace eventually. If you plan to have a day just spent at the Fort, you may want to look into renting a cart for just one day (if the budget allows).
  4. Something we always did when we traveled with one was to always carry the charger with us. In the back pockect, basket, or a bag somewhere on the scooter. If we stopped for lunch or where somewhere my grandma felt she could walk we would ask if the had a plug handy and plug it in to charger. We only did this if we were able to leave it on the charger for more than 30 mins and I'm not sure how much it helped but made me feel better that we wouldnt run out of charge.
  5. Thank you for the quick replies, looks good. But now I want to do the one at Epcot too! Uhoh
  6. Has anyone done the Tomorrow Land Terrace Desert Party? How is the view of the fireworks, how were the deserts, worth it or a waste of money? Only adults going and ready about thought of trying to book it for our December trip, but have found very little info on it.
  7. Its all very strange. You would think that if it was just that it got struck by lightning and that was it that the would move it or at least put the awning up so there was no more damage. Or if there was a risk of anything happening from it being moved or people being around it that they would clear the loop. Im not up there now but doubt that the Fort is full to the point they couldnt move people around to clear out the loop. Lets hope it is something simple and no one was hurt but it does all seem very strange.
  8. Can the mugs be refillled anywhere or only the resort you purchased them at?
  9. I have the My Disney Experience app on my phone, it is the official Disney app. I have never checked the accuracy of the wait times, but it will allow you ti adjust FPs make ADRs and the such. It does seem to run slow sometimes though.
  10. Woke up Monday morning and started packing up after getting everything loaded up and hooked up it was time to head out. Mom took the golfcart to the overflow parking lot while I followed behind her to get the cart loaded up. On the way out they had the cm area opened up with an sign saying express exit and cm's standing there trying to get everyone to exit that way. I noticed that it looked like they had the golfcart return set up and staffed well enough to gwt people in and out quickly. I had heard from someone that they golfcarts had all been rented out that weekend. The parking lot was fa
  11. Well we finally made it to the Poly and Kona "Do you have a reservation" hmm no. So we are told to come back in 30 mins and they will be starting a list then, ok sounds good. So we wonder around the Poly for 30 mins and head back up to Kona where we are told "oh now we wont be starting a list for at least another hour". Im sure ADRs work for some but we are not planners. I guess gone are the days of being able to eat at any non quick serve with ADRs, we wont talk about the several empty tables that were open. Dont get me wrong being able to make reservations is great but couldnt there be a fe
  12. The flip flop was random, something he had seen on one of his other trips. Dixie is a 7 yo pound puppy, officially Boxer mix though the vet and I think probably full Boxer. Im not sure I have any other pictures of her from this trip, but Ill try to get a few uploaded for the next update. No he didn't get it on our trip.
  13. Sunday We had driven past the small outlet on 535 the day before and decided to go back so mom could get some shoes from easy spirit. We have one here in town but it was so much easier to be able to park right in front of the stores unlike the big outlet here or the other in orlando. After she picked up some shoes we headed off to AK. This was only the second time we had been to AK but I was able to snag some FPs for Dinosaur, Everest, and the rapids. While on our way back to ride Dinosaur we were stopped by a cm who was trying hard to get people to go down and see Daisy Duck. We passed on see
  14. We purchased our annual passes plus a couple one day/one park tickets at our local AAA here in Florida as well as some seasonal passes one year at the AAA in Orlando. We did save around 5.00 a ticket I believe. Im not sure how it works with anything but annual passes, but for Florida residents you do not get an actually get a ticket, you get a card to go exchange for your tickets, these have no way of being linked to your reservation or of making FP+ before your first park day.
  15. Well had another update ready to go but poof its gone. Must have forgot to hit save, have been trying different ways of writing them up and copying over here. Ill get it redone tonight.
  16. . We will be getting one its a great idea, but will be making sure it stays on our site. Probably because there were so many people and a holiday weekend, but there seemed to be a lot of inconsiderate (maybe the the nice way of putting it) people this trip. Lucky for us the people directly around us were not those people.
  17. Another thing we saw this weekend which we havent seen or at least noticed before, was a lot of people with extra canopies up just for parking their golfcarts under. Which in general I think is a great idea, however when they stick halfway out into the road it got to be a little much.
  18. Saturday evening we decided to go do some looping before heading down to the beach to watch the EWP and fireworks. First stop was the bat house! I was really hoping to see some bats, unfortunately we either missed them or they have not taken up residence yet. So we moved on to looping, forgot to look up fiends site numbers though we did see a sign but didnt see anyone around. Now everyones favorite part EWP and fireworks. though this is the only time I seem to have really taken any pictures I wont bore yall with all of them. But here are a few I liked and one of the EWP just for Lou.
