  1. Thank you, that is the one I was looking at buying also. I think ill hint at it for my upcoming birthday.
  2. This probably isnt the right place to post this but wasnt sure where else it should go. Has or does anyone cook with a pressure cooker, pro, cons, recipes? I saw a commercial the other day for a pressure cooker that could also be used as a slow cooker and warmer, it got me thinking. I know my great grandmother and grandma used to cook with them years ago but havent seen or heard anything about them in a long time, but they seem to be a thing again. After a lot of looking online I think if I were to get one it would be one of the stand alone electric ones as opposed to stove top, but are the
  3. Sorry was on my tablet and stupid thumb hit the down arrow. I apologize was completely by accident.
  4. walmart sells platic jars that look like mason jars. Another idea is the craft stores usually have the clear plastic ornaments that slpit in 2 and can be painted and put back together. I think those would be cool different shapes and stuff, could even string them together or hang them randomly in trees.
  5. Well I have made my list of must tries this year. Hmm, Is it bad more than 90% of my list contains alcohol?
  6. Just remembered, did have a nasty mess with some unopened peanut butter. I think when it got really hot it got really greasy then tipped over while going down the road and leaked out. Luckily it was in a bin so not to bad of a mess.
  7. I have never had anything explode in ours just something I worry about when it comes to leaving soda in it.
  8. When we get home I wash all the used bedding and towels and it goes right back in. Each of ushave a bbathing suit that stays in the trailer and I usually leave a change of clothes. We keepour trailer in the driveway and plugged in so I always keep condiments in the fridge, spices,, any food that wont go bad before the next time we go stays in the trailer, always have some tuna fish and crackers just incase. When I run out of stuff in the house I will take it out of the trailer and restock the trailer so nothing goes bad. I do my own pest control at home so when I spray the house and yard I d
  9. A little late but I'm in. Though I'm questioning why I started reading this I was laughing as I started to type this till I realized I was singing Alanis Morissette in my head. Now its stuck there like Its a Small World! A big thank you to whoever started that, Beckers I think.
  10. Now if they could update the website to be faster and have less interference we would have something to work with. Maybe its just me but unless I'm in front of the laptop with nothing else to do I find the Disney website and app to be a very very large pain in the ***.
  11. I like to have some room in the back for our screen room but also make sure that there is plent of room in the front for the truck and golfcart completely out of the road at least by a few feet. Wasnt a problem with our 18ft trailer with the new one we will see may lose my room for the screen room behind. The one night we spent in the 1000 loop when we picked up the new trailer I had to park farther foward than I like due to the length of power cord and the fact the pole was at the front of the site. Easy fix I'm getting an extension cord so we wont have the problem again.
  12. Thats all? On our December trip I was beginning to think it was a new feature in the 500 loop, as soon as they'd clean it up the carriages would start there rounds again. Hmm wonder if the recycle it into fertilizer?
  13. No difference in taste. Though I have to say the first time I used the oven in the new trailer it did give off a not so nice odor for a good 10mins or so, nothing that opening windows and turning the fan on didnt solve. Since then it has been fine. I haven't usedit to cook anything really but to reheat manicotti, pizza, and one of those apple blossoms from port orleans.
  14. Theres an idea, I have 2 carts so if I bring them both up for our halloween and xmas trips and rent one out I could write it off and help pay for the site. Brilliant!
  15. You can also get automotive clear coat at auto parts stores and probably walmart. We used a primer and spray paint for fiberglass then some craft paint, and finished off with the clearcoat/topcoat. The craft paint did fade some ( neon colors and glow in the dark splash painted on) however the rest of it held up great against scrathes and such.
  16. If you are going to be near the coast or have rust issues where you are I would look into club car they have an aluminum frame. We have 2 club car electric carts and live on the coast have a lot less to keep up on when you dont have to worry about frame rust. Headlights, taillights and a horn are also nice to have and I believe required at the Fort and I would assume most campgrounds, they are an easy add on with the right tools. Brake lights and turnsignals are an added bonus. Batteries all come down to how well they are maintained and how much you use them. If you are going to be running
  17. The 600 loop does seem to always have the bigger rvs in it, and there seems to be less trees or at least mature trees in the 600 loop. I have also seen some bigger set ups in the 500 loop .
  18. First off welcome If your cart has lights it can be driven day or night. There is golf cart parking down by the settlement (beach, restaurant, store, dock) as well as by the Medows (store, pool, campfire, movie) and also near the Outpost (main entrance, busses to parks). There is no one loop with easy walking access to everything. Have you downloaded the Fort Fiends app? It has pictures and details of each site, there are also videos of the loops and an google earth map with a site overlay. Sorry I dont have the links for those but Im sure someone will be along with them soon. Feell free
  19. I chose the Pro Pride because its supposedly the improved model of the original Hensley. Both were designed by the Jim Hensley with the Pro Pride being the latest he's designed. The pro pride doesnt have to be bolted through the frame of the trailer and seems very easy to instal and agjust as well. I aslo likedwhen I called I got to speak to sean who gave me his cell number incase I have anymore qquestions down the line. I have read good things on both hitches and like everything else it seems like who ever ones a certain hitch thinks theirs is the best. To be honest Im a little worried abou
  20. I looked onto the Hensley Arrow and Pro Pride 3p hitches, the 3p supposedly being the "new and improved" model to of the original Hensley. We have decided on the Pro Pride 3p and I spoke with Sean at Pro pride yesterday and he said the are several weeks out on shipping. just wanted to give you a heads up incase you have been looking at the 3p. Good luck with narrowing it down, we are headed up today to look at one of our top 2 and hopefully make a deal on it.
  21. Just wanted to say welcome. Unfortunately I cant help with the golf cart info as we have always brought our own or rwnted from the Fort (expensive) and have never stayed in the 200 loop. Some one will be along soon im sure with infor to help you out. Just remember you can always ask a fellow camper for help if you need it, backing in remembering how to hook something up, so on. Most are very helpful.
  22. Cant wait to hear response. We are looking at two trailers as well one is 32 and the other 35 overal. Its gonna be a big jump for us the one we have now is only 25ft overall.
