  1. It surprises me how little most travel trailer dealers/service people really know about WDH, if it's not the brand the sell (and sometimes even if it is) they tend to know nothing about them. Plus they usually set them up with an empty tv and trailer. I decided to go with the equalizer for budget reasons but did spend a lot of time on the phone with Sean while trying to make my decision, I'm sure he can help talk you through through it.
  2. No problems with construction coming in through the main gate as of last week. I would follow your gps for coming in, Bonnet Creek is the other option and I use it all the time when not towing but it is a hard right turn into the Fort when towing.
  3. Mid 70s is good but yall leave that really cold stuff up there! PLEASE
  4. I am by no means an expert on this and just getting my new hitch adjusted properly, but my owners manual for my trailer recommends towing with at least a half a tank of water in the rear tank. Our trailer is 34ft with a rear kitchen floor plan so most of the weight goes to the tongue (under bed storage, outside storage compartments, lp tanks, black, and one grey holding). I can feel a difference in towing when the front is loaded and the tanks behind the axles are empty. I keep the grey and black tanks drained and about half a tank of fresh water depending on the amount of stuff I have crammed
  5. So maybe I just never really paid attention before, it's because it's "off" season, or something new Disney is doing, but twice this trip the hours of the MK have extended. The first time I noticed was during Magic hours on a Saturday. Checked MDE just after the EWP at the Contemporary and it said extra magic hours ended at 12am. Around 11 I was chatting with some people and we looked and MDE said 1am. Sure enough the park stayed open till 1. Today the did the same thing, except no extra magic hours tonight. Closing extended by an hour. They aren't really announcing it, just happens to be
  6. It's probably leftover from something else that they are trying to get rid of!
  7. I was on hold for about 15 mins, transferred 3 times, got disconnected, called back, transferred again, profusely apologized to for getting disconnected, transfered put on hold for a few mins, then got the the great news we could stay an extra day at the Fort! (All while waiting for a very slow epcot bus) Never once did I think about threatening, insulting or telling anyone I was going to build a meth lab at my site (or an atomic bomb.) I patiently waited, was polite, friendly and understanding that sometimes calls get disconnected. Been up waiting for cops to come raid the trailer but so
  8. Just pick up a toaster at Walmart Sunday 2 slice Rival, super light, has rubber feet that grip out counter pretty well, takes up very little room and the best part it was under 7.00. So far its made toast for 3 the past 2 days with no problem. Think they had a 4 slicer for around 9. Have a skillet, 4 cup coffee maker and stove top percolator and they all probably take up less room and are easier to clean.
  9. Unfortunately it's not just 300 or length of the sites that's the problem. It's the people that have no regard for anyone but themselves.
  10. I agree very ugly and a major fail for Disney themeing you would think that they could have come up with a more Fort themed way of doing it. Lines of horseshoes, animal tracks, something. All it would take is a stencil and a sign at the beginning of each loop explaining what they are or or CM at check in explaining. I'm hoping if they add them to other loops they put some more thought into it.
  11. Was doing some looping and saw that all the sites in the 300 loop Don't know when they were done or if they have already discussed. Didn't see during our July trip. I'm assuming they are a no parking past this point kinda thing, I like they idea and they seem to be working. Only saw one site with a car parked over the line, but it's not a weekend or holiday. We'll see what happens. Love the idea, if it works. Don't care for the look. Maybe a horseshoe pattern or something for related.
  12. It doesn't say what time he made the statement, just that he was trying to stay an extra day. He could have made the statement at 1130pm. I know there have been times I've called late at night to see if I could extend my stay.
  13. I could bake a cake, knit a sweater, build a house, fly around the world...... There are so many things that pop into my head and build a meth lab is not one of them. How long does it take to build a meth lab, does he have experience? Very odd choice of words. Also wondering what else was said to the cast member, maybe something threatening? I feel like there is definitely something missing. I can understand Disney calling the cops, but if nothing was found and nothing else was going on or had in the past I dont see why they would ban him. I would think they would be apologizing their bu
  14. I thought the same thing when I read it. I'm afraid to see the price though!
  15. Mary Poppins is my favorite Disney movie, I think I wore the tape out as a kid. But I'm not sure how I feel about this. Could go either way. I'm just glad they aren't trying to do a remake of the original.
  16. If it all checka out would be a great deal, Im considering selling one of mine an 98 DS for 1500.00. Like previously stated the batteries and extras would probably run in the 1500.00 range.
  17. Not a review but a question. Does anyone habe experience with gluten free desserts at any of the restaurants on property? We'll be heading up this weekend for a joint birthday weekend for one of my friends and myself, she has gluten allergy. We have never had a problem getting gluten free meals from any of the restaurants we have eaten at yet and I figure everywhere will have the standard icecream and prepackaged cookies. ButmI'm looking for a knock your socks off birthday worthy dessert. Even if you dont know for sure I can always try calling ahead to verify its gluten free. I dont feel
  18. It's been awhile since I've been on here, life got in the way. Haha Back now and ready to start a debate. Our 2011 F250 4x4 started "bouncing" (I know it's a truck but this was bad and only at certain speeds) the other day. Check tire pressure it was good, called a friend who recommended a tire place and told me what he thought it was. Well he turned out to be right. 2 large "bubbles" in one of the rear tires. The rest looked good, spare was put on for time being and the truck is back to riding like a truck. Now comes the fun part, getting a new tire. It has 2011 continental contitrac lt275/
  19. Is it one of the ones that looks lik it could be used as a cane as well? I spokewith some ladies at Epcot one time who were sitting on some, they said they just walked right through using it as a cane and no one said a word to them.
  20. Depending on if you want to spend most of your time in Key west or not I would also look at some of the other keys. If I remember correctly the farther from Key West the cheaper things got. There are also some state parks and such. Not a horrible distance to Key West though might be a pain driving or taxiing if you plan on spending a lot of time on Duval. As for on the way down depending on what you consider halfway and what time you would like to get into the keys anywhere between Ocala and Naples would be a good stopping point. There are a few state parks not far off 75 plus plenty of littl
  21. We do a mix of both depending on what our plans are for the day. A lot of times if we drive it is because we are stopping at another resort for food on the way back to the fort. We always boat to the MK. If there is a line for the Fort bus or it seems to be taking awhile we will hop on one to the Contemporary if it is empty or there first and boat back. The only way I know of to get to Universal would be to drive or take a cab.
