  1. Found these at K Mart today. 65% off brought them down to 10.49 battery operated LED light with auto on for 5 hours. Not sure they would be worth the 30.00 original price but for 10.49 could be a fun decoration. Only had these 2 at my local store not sure of any others they might have. <a href="http://s928.photobucket.com/user/cortezcapt82/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20140812_114749_zps5uxupycc.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i928.photobucket.com/albums/ad126/cortezcapt82/Mobile%20Uploads/20140812_114749_zps5uxupycc.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20140812_114749_zps5uxupycc.jpg"/&
  2. So this may be a stupid question, but we would like to go see Jo Dee Messina the first weekend of Food and Wine. This will be our first time and will be going back multiple times so no need to fit everything into one day. I'm wonder what day may be the least crowded Fri, Sat, or Sun. Has anyone been opening weekend?
  3. Having grown up on the gulf coast of Florida I have never known anyone who has had any sort of skin infection from this. I have been in everything from hot stagnant brackish water to warm salt water with plenty of cuts, scrapes and full on gashes and have never had a problem. Where I grew up if you were out on the boat, at the beach, or just working around the water and hurt yourself, the answer always was "rinse it off in the salt water itll be fine till you get home". When you got home (later that day, night or next day) you dump some peroxide on It maybe a little betadine if you had some
  4. Congrats on book your site. I'm still trying to get the 11-13 already have to week leading up to it.
  5. Id probably say Im a CAVE, half Carol half Dave. last trip was taking my nephew for the first time, 15 hours in MK in June. Half the day was stinking hot the other half it rained!
  6. Just starting another bag so will take pictures when I finish this one.
  7. Well I have lots of started crafts, unfortunately not as many finished.
  8. I didnt even think of the clearance issue and gluing or some how tacking the foam together is a good idea.
  9. Not sure if this is the right place for this or not. I'm not sure about everyone else's dinette cushions but ours are about 3 inches of flimsy foam. Fine for sitting and having a quick meal but for hanging out on rainy days or sleeping ha forget about it. A while back I bought some upholstery fabric at Joannes on a going out of business sale. Had been planning on making removable covers for both the dinette and couch to save the original fabric and make it easier to clean. After using the dinette as a bed for the first time last month I decided a foam mattress top was a much needed purchase.
  10. Just saw this as I haven't been on in a while, was wondering how it worked out as a mat. Is it easy to clean or does it hold sand. I just finished my first plarn project, which was making a shower/beach bag. As soon as I started it I thought of all kinda of ideas for other thing, then saw your mat. Was thinking of making a braided rug using the handles of the bags. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the bag I made and gave it to a friend. If anyone is still interested in this I will post things as I finish them. Have all my neighbors friends and coworkers saving bags now. Lucki
  11. We prefer Royal Caribbean, nice ships, a good mix of activities for all ages, good food, and have enjoyed all the ports in both eastern and western Caribbean with the exception of Grand Cayman. If you go on Royal Caribbean I would suggest one of the Freedom class ships, not to small but not so big you get lost ( plus with the 2 newer and larger ships freedom you can get better deals on freedom class ships ). Having not been on a DCL cruise I can't compare the two, but I would choose Royal Caribbean over Carnival. I have also heard very good things about Celebrity cruise line ( owned by the sam
  12. Hmmm I could be misunderstanding this but we are at the Fort now for a week and AP's linked to our MB's. So after we check out we will still be able to use our magic bands for fastpass+ and emhs? To me that kinda seems like a fail on Disney's ( I mean great for us if we just wanted to come up for the day) but you'd think they would deactivate the bands upon check out. If so that would make a throw away night useless.
  13. If concentrator she uses at home is supplied through a medical/oxygen company you may also want to try giving them a call and see if the have an office in Orlando or someone the work with that will loan out a concentrator. Also some oxygen companies will supply you with a smaller "travel" concentrator upon request for the length of your trip. The company Carol suggested is a very good company that we have used for scooter rentals in the past.
  14. . Sorry not sure what happened but I must have accidentally hit the red down arrow thing when scrolling through on my tablet and I can't figure out how to make it go away. I'll have to be more careful in the future also if anyone else reads this and has had me do that to them I apologize.
  15. Thank you None here on the coast right now either, but thought I'd check. Ya never know in Florida.
  16. Yep that was it, couldn't remember if that was at Disney or Universal.
  17. I must be a glutton for punishment, because I have never though of riding it before now. Now I want to just to see how bad it really is. What used to be there, say in the early to mid 90s?
  18. How are the bugs at the Fort, mosquitoes and such? We are heading up Sunday morning I'm trying to decide if I should pack the easy up canopy and screen room.
  19. We do have a small tt but it will be there before the golf cart so we will probably end up leaving the TV and trailer in overflow. We are hoping for and I'll put in my request for the 500 loop if we don't find a preferred. Hoping to get close to the dog park. Judy, we are hoping to meet some of the fiends while we are there. Tim, thanks for the link might not use it this trip but looks good to have on hand.
  20. We are booked for a premium site (hoping a preferred opens up) so we should have plenty of room for it on our site. Will just have to see when we get there and when I find out if we will have tent as well or not. Is there room in the overflow lot to leave the trailer attached to the SUV that will be towing it up? I don't want to take up to much room in the overflow lot but we will not need the second car once we are on property. The only reason for it coming up is to bring the golf cart and accommodate different arrival and departure times.
