I still call it MGM most of the time, well it usually comes out as MGMHollywhateveritiscalled like pleasureisldowntownspringsyouknow
I'm more interested in knowing if that survey with those names listed was a legitimate Disney survey and who was smoking what when they wrote it?

I want to post some pics but can't decide on the best host. What are you guys all using now?
If the pictures are taken on your phone I use the Tapatalk app to post them. Also have used Imgur although only once.

Nice looking trailer. I like that floorplan and is the one we'd get if we ever go with a 5th wheel.
Did you get the residential fridge? I'd be interested in now how you like while traveling. They seem to be the new thing in trailers, but I guess I'm old school and don't want to give up my gas/electric fridge.

Like Dave said the larger boats to the MK can take wheelchairs. Unless something has changed since June they do not use ramps on them so there can be a little bump going up or down. They usually have had us stand back and wait till the boat loads before putting the scooter on. Boats I would say are the faster/easier way of getting to the MK.

I’ve got a stuffed peacock if anyone needs a emotional support animal.
Its house broken and doesn’t require any special diet.
Those are the best kind of peacocks, bet it's quiet too!

They just need to get on Amazon and order a couple more strobe lights and "no one will know there is anything broken or missing"

Sorry to hear about the A Fib, hoping the meds work and they can wean you off of them. My uncle has been having issues with A Fib for over 10 years. Seems like he spent more time out than in, so I know it can be a pain especially with all the blood thinners, meds and cardioversions. They finally did a catheter ablation which worked for a year and then another and (fingers crossed) he hasn't had any problems since, going on 2 years now.

Have a safe and fun trip!

A lot of people do, I know we have called in for weekend only reservations, but it was a pain. I had searched the app and it wouldn't let me book just the weekend but would allow it if I booked the whole week. After about an hour on the phone a CM booked the whole week then had to call a supervisor or someone to take the days off we didn't want. It was a pain and I couldn't see trying to do it for more than one weekend. Maybe there's a trick we don't know about, or are travel agents able to book fewer days? I remember in the past being able to just book weekends when they were available.

Yum that looks great! I'm surprised Disney doesn't snatch up that idea, although the price would probably be 50.00+ for it.

Except weekends. Locals flood the FORT, his 10 days would include a weekend , thus no availability.
52 minutes ago, DaveInTN said:Yes but the OP is trying to book early Dec. That's traditionally been one of the slower times. The Disney reservation system SMB.
We never had a problem booking the first week or two of December including weekends up until this past year. I'm not sure if it's that they are actually booked or the reservation system.

If you have slide outs on the motorhome I would check into getting a premium site, however that aren't always in the budget. With slides and the lift out it might be tight to maneuver past the lift on the concrete in a wheelchair if needed. They lift might come down on the edge of the concrete where the crushed Coquina starts. I'd definitely check out the app if you can.
But like Dave and Carol said I would fax with what your needs are and the size of your rv and set up, clearance you need and such rather then requesting a specific site.

Discount sites are available to all Floridians on the 32cd and 33rd of each month!
I also heard they were free those dates in February!

I'm sure they'll also use lightning strike indicators like the other theme parks and shut it down in an approaching storm.
They already do for the boats. Im not sure what how they handle the monorails but I would think the gondola's will probably be the same.

Well at least the stuff will be going to need families and not for profits instead of getting sold or something. I wonder what they do with expensive items though, jewelry cameras and such. It would be interesting to know how much stuff like that gets found and turned in and how much gets reclaimed.

Seems like there have been a lot of discounts in 2017/2018. Maybe I just haven't paid attention in the last few years because we've had annual passes but seems like since they raised annual passes last and introduced the tiered pricing a lot more discounts have come out for Florida residents and now Canadians.

We took my cousin back in June he was 11. We did go right when they opened since we were killing time between having lunch at Kona Cafe and heading to Port Orleans to see Bob. He enjoyed it, I have to say I had more fun the night we went in later but that was probably the company and fact I got to drink.

"Proof of Florida residency is required. "
Show proof to buy or to use? Is this similar to the Canadian offer where you get a certificate and then show it at the gate with ID to exchange for actual ticket?
1 hour ago, h2odivers...Ray said:I once read online, I try to find it again but I can’t, and that as long as you buy it in Florida you don’t have to be a Florida resident. That they do not ask for proof of residency at the parks. Please do not assume this is the case on these tickets.
I am going off my bad memory and the rumor I read once a few years agoI am going off my bad memory and the rumor I read once a few years ago
I don't know about these tickets from Publix but I do know in the past when we have bought Florida resident tickets off property we had to redeem them before use and were required to show proof of residency.

Well folks, yay nay or meh.
My unit has 28,000 btu's worth of AC, so keeping the unit cool isn't an issue. But is it to hot to be fun?
August can be pretty hot and humid and rainy. When we have gone during the summer we hit the parks in the evening and/or morning and hung out around the Fort in the heat of the day.
If it came down to going in August or not at all I'd go in August. Just be prepared to sweat. Lots of water and sunscreen.

Dollywood is definitely on our to do list.

We’ve been down to Dallas to see him a few times. We never buy tickets until we get there. We show up early and tailgate for a few hours and then when the concert is about to begin we get tickets out the gates. IIRC in 2016 we paid $25 or $35 a ticket.
We didn’t go in 2017 because he opened a margaritaville casino in Tulsa and we got 4 comped tickets to his show. It’s not as fun as the outdoor Dallas concert. But it is only a 90 minute drive from our house.
Just looked at Orlando this year 156.00 for nose bleed. We used to get behind the stage seats for 35.00 but he turned around and played to towards the back of the stage for parts of the concert.

Wondering if you could just pay for parking and still party in the lot?
From what our friends said they didn't check tickets for the lot, had to pay to park. Sounded like a lot of people stayed out and tailgated. That was a few years ago though.

I think he means to the parks. MK you can get to by boat, but any of the other parks or Disney springs you would have to take a bus. Which can be a pain at times.
