  1. Sorry to hear about the A Fib,  hoping the meds work and they can wean you off of them. My uncle has been having issues with A Fib for over 10 years. Seems like he spent more time out than in, so I know it can be a pain especially with all the blood thinners, meds and cardioversions. They finally did a catheter ablation which worked for a year and then another and (fingers crossed) he hasn't had any problems since, going on 2 years now.

  2. A lot of people do, I know we have called in for weekend only reservations, but it was a pain. I had searched the app and it wouldn't let me book just the weekend but would allow it if I booked the whole week. After about an hour on the phone a CM booked the whole week then had to call a supervisor or someone to take the days off we didn't want.  It was a pain and I couldn't see trying to do it for more than one weekend. Maybe there's a trick we don't know about, or are travel agents able to book fewer days? I remember in the past being able to just book weekends when they were available.

Except weekends. Locals flood the FORT, his 10 days would include a weekend , thus no availability.

Yes but the OP is trying to book early Dec.  That's traditionally been one of the slower times.  The Disney reservation system SMB.

We never had a problem booking the first week or two of December including weekends up until this past year.  I'm not sure if it's that they are actually booked or the reservation system.

  4. If you have slide outs on the motorhome I would check into getting a premium site, however that aren't always in the budget. With slides and the lift out it might be tight to maneuver past the lift on the concrete in a wheelchair if needed. They lift might come down on the  edge of the concrete where the crushed Coquina starts. I'd definitely check out the app if you can.

But like Dave and Carol said I would fax with what your needs are and the size of your rv and set up, clearance you need and such rather then requesting a specific site.

I'm sure they'll also use lightning strike indicators like the other theme parks and shut it down in an approaching storm.

They already do for the boats. Im not sure what how they handle the monorails but I would think the gondola's will probably be the same.

"Proof of Florida residency is required. "

Show proof to buy or to use?   Is this similar to the Canadian offer where you get a certificate and then show it at the gate with ID to exchange for actual ticket?

I once read online, I try to find it again but I can’t, and that as long as you buy it in Florida you don’t have to be a Florida resident. That they do not ask for proof of residency at the parks. Please do not assume this is the case on these tickets.

I am going off my bad memory and the rumor I read once a few years agoI am going off my bad memory and the rumor I read once a few years ago

I don't know about these tickets from Publix but I do know in the past when we have bought Florida resident tickets off property we had to redeem them before use and were required to show proof of residency.

Well folks, yay nay or meh.

My unit has 28,000 btu's worth of AC, so keeping the unit cool isn't an issue. But is it to hot to be fun?

August can be pretty hot and humid and rainy. When we have gone during the summer we hit the parks in the evening and/or morning and hung out around the Fort in the heat of the day.

If it came down to going in August or not at all I'd go in August. Just be prepared to sweat. Lots of water and sunscreen.

We’ve been down to Dallas to see him a few times.  We never buy tickets until we get there. We show up early and tailgate for a few hours and then when the concert is about to begin we get tickets out the gates.  IIRC in 2016 we paid $25 or $35 a ticket.

We didn’t go in 2017 because he opened a margaritaville casino in Tulsa and we got 4 comped tickets to his show. It’s not as fun as the outdoor Dallas concert. But it is only a 90 minute drive from our house.

Just looked at Orlando this year 156.00 for nose bleed. We used to get behind the stage seats for 35.00 but he turned around and played to towards the back of the stage for parts of the concert.
