  1. Okay... called the trailer tire store in the area and they do not make a D tire in 205/75/14 or 215/75/14. 15" tires may be a tough fit on our trailer...plus we'd have to replace the rims. So, looks like I'm at a C tire. They recommend Triangle (I posted on this)...but they can also bring in Maxxis, which I've read has decent reviews. The Maxxis is $74 more (total); the tire company said that while Maxxis is a good tire... he didn't think they were any better than Triangle.
  2. Thanks! Thought it was decoupage :) I would love to order the huge (blue) Mickey ears that you have on the side of your rig... did you make that? Oh that, and the chip and dale :)
  3. Oh my gosh... just saw your link. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your rig!! Huge grin just looking at it. Okay... now I have to something with the little camper we just bought. Makes me happy just thinking about it :) The table top...how did you do that?
  4. Is this something that I can see (on the rim) or will I need to have the tire store check?
  5. Thanks for all the feedback fiends. Any idea... is a D much larger than a C? Also, would my rim still fit a D...or would that have to be replaced??
  6. I don't know... where is he?! I need to order these silly tires... :)
  7. Okay... found another sticker on the outside front. I think this is the one, because it says GAWR front 2500 and rear 2500. Under Tires, it says ST205/75R14 B. Rims it says 14x6J. Is that it??
  8. I found an online brochure that said: Axle Dry Wt (Appr) 3396. Does that answer the question?
  9. Not on the trailer, but the current tires are a 205/75/14 (they are not radial tires) load range C
  10. We need tires put on this week; I've been doing my research and have discovered that there is a C and D load range option. Is one better than the other? Tires that are on the trailer now, are a 205/75/14, not a radial and (if I had to guess) either a 4 ply or 6 ply tire. Our trailer has a dual axle. Camping plans: Two trips planned to the Fort this year (about 470 miles each way); plus possibly a couple of closer trips (say 100 miles or less each way). Small chance for a long cross country trip next year. The local Discount tires shows these three on it's website (but they say they ca
  11. How do you get a FP for the parade?? Do they have a special seating section?
  12. You're right... my bad. Wrong "P" :) We have stayed in a premium site once...1400 loop when we rented an RV. Love that loop, but preferred was already tough on our budget, so preferred it is!
  13. My past week as been so crazy busy, that I haven't had them installed. We're getting pretty crunched for time, and Discount can bring just about anything in within 24 hours, so we'll probably use them. I did like the guy I talked to at Contractor's Tire in Marietta. Three Way Campers referred us to them. Still might use them, but Discount is only 10 minutes down the street.... compared to Contractor's which is 30-40 minutes.
  14. We'll... we changed our mind about spending money on something here at home and decided to spend the money and upgrade to a premium site. We've stayed in the 100 loop before (in a tent) and appreciated how close it was to the boat dock and the larger playground (plus the beach at night as our daughter really enjoys the boat parade... night after night, after night :) ). We would have done a full hook-up and saved a few dollars, but we don't have a golf cart which makes the walk back from the boat, after a long day at the park, even worse than the 1500 loop (which is what we were originally sl
  15. Yeah... trying to get the app on my phone now. Bad cell coverage at my house. Go figure as Verizon's tower is (practically) in our back yard :banghead:
  16. Does anyone know the specific size difference of the cement pad in the 1500 loop vs the 100 loop? I know the 100 loop is larger... just now sure by how much.
  17. Yes... I'd like the site number and personal cell phone for every Fiend that will be at the Fort, May 10 - May 17th please. Just kidding... we won't harass you all I'm prepared for this so... nice to know we're not the only ones to have the "full experience" :)
  18. Thanks for thinking of of us! We're okay... we found the cord. I'm telling ya, it will be by God's grace that we make it to the Fort here in a couple of weeks and (prayerfully) actually get to use and enjoy this silly camper :)
  19. How long will you 'all be at the Fort? Looks like we're arriving, just a few days behind you!
  20. Found it. As my husband said when he opened up one of the outside compartments, "if it was any closer, it would jump out and bite you". Oops... He also tells me, that I dye my hair dark
  21. That really stinks Hope you have some luck in recovering it...
  22. When you pull your RV into your campsite, do you need a cord to plug from your trailer to the outlet? I was looking for such a cord on the camper we just bought, and there isn't one....so I was wondering if I needed to purchase one or if the campgrounds usually provide them?
  23. Thank you! We're going to try and tackle this, over the next couple of days...I'll PM you if we cannot figure it out. I feel stronger (and less like crying) this morning. Guess we need to learn how to do this stuff...right? My parents live in Wa (state), but I can see my daddy shaking his head now. I grew up with my parents doing everything on their own. We didn't have the money to hire someone, so you rolled up your sleeves and figured it out. I think yesterday, I was just "over" the whole thing and darn near ready to just sell the camper... but I'm feeling better this morning. You f
