this is the same trip at a national forest campground just south of jackson hole, wy.

still the same trip... but, this one is at the flaming gorge in utah.  one place that i would love to go back to.  it was very quiet at the higher elevation - most folks were camping at the bottom by the gorge/river.  it was spectacular..

so beautiful here are a couple pictures of the gorge from behind our site.

334 from November 2009

To give y'all a sense of space, the TT is almost 30' open and we had a 9x12 pen setup behind it for the dogs.  Still plenty of room for the picnic table and to park the Explorer and golf cart in front.

The site has large bushes behind (very private) and is about 3-4 sites from the entrance to the 300 canal dog walk.

Here's site 333 from November 2008

Ditto above.  Both of these sites are on the outside curve of the loop, so the space is kind of pie shape, allowing for a good chunk of space between you and your neighbors.

333 and 334 are separated by an enormous (and very impressive) Cypress tree.

335 from Nov 2010

The 9x12 pen is behind the TT and we just squeezed the Navigator and golf cart in front.  And I mean squeezed!  We lucked out and positioned our street side slide exactly between the "stump" and utility box - with about 1/4" to spare.

If we couldn't have done that we'd have had to move way back onto the sand.
