We flew from Philly on 10/28 and had a 6:30 flight, which had us landing at 8:55 am! Beckers 1,136 Posted November 14, 2015 Author Report Share Posted November 14, 2015 Airport fun We were one of the last people to get on the ME so we were too far back for a good pic of the Disney sign and because the windows had images on this, this was what happened when I tried taking a picture of the Fort sign We were the 5th stop and the only ones getting off at the Fort. And the kids played in the rain/puddles And I harassed Kelly some more It eventually stopped raining and we went swimming, no pictures from that and there was a lot of looping. At some point i met Red and her husband (thanks again for the hair bands!!) and then once the kids were asleep Brian and I had ice cream. $8.25 for the 2 of them! Yikes. Around 10:30 Kelly came in and Brian, Red's husband and maybe someone else helped Kelly unload her cart. Thursday 10/29 We did some day looping I saw this and sent a pic to Rennie suggesting him and Beth do it for their 5th wheel, neither seemed too eager... We rocked And played We had lunch Allergy menu No food pics. All our meals take longer because needing to talk to a chef so by time food comes, everyone is already cranky. Rode wed way Lights were on (seems to happen more often than not) Big thunder (I think?) selfie We went on a ton of stuff and zigzagged back and forth constantly. Adam was excited and had no concept of doing things that were near each other, since it was our special night I just went with it. We didn't watch any shows and saw the fireworks from Rapunzels bathrooms. The lines were insane for trick or treat until about 11. Why anyone waste party time on candy is beyond me. On our way out we hit a few lines to grab some candy for Brian (but I had to pick out probably half of it because it had nuts) and we stopped by City Hall and they had a few safe options for Adam. Sugar free hard candies (like the gross things your grandma would have, sweet tarts, freeze dried apples and Vermont nut free chocolate. The only thing Adam was interested in was chocolate which he didn't even like (it taste a little better than cheap chocolate). Thankfully Red had given me a secret bag of twizzlers which he loved. I forgot before the parade be snuck in and saw Talking Mickey before the parade. I used to think he was kind of creepy but Adam was so into him this time. He had a whole thing about being a zombie and saying "brains" and he thought it was hilarious. We left at 11:55 and beat the crowds. The boat helper (I don't know what you'd call him?) was just full of "facts" once he said that River Country was a historic place I knew I needed to record it. The dress I wore I borrowed from a friend and had to get it back to her. Which involved a boat to the MK, a bus to art of animation (which we had to wait forever for), A little time coloring at AoA bus back to MK and then a boat back to the Fort. It took forever. Brian and Adam took out a sea racer while we were returning the dress. No more pics that night. Dinner at TE (don't hate me but I don't think it was worth the money, take out would have been fine and cheaper). That was also the night of the GG but unfortunately a non napping Elizabeth made it a no go for me on the GG. I wish there was more. I always enjoy a CM spinning yarns like that. I think it's great that you and Adam got to do a date night at MNSSHP, and that you let him set the agenda. It took forever for a chef to come out and of course they showed up when the characters started coming around. She liked the statue so much she insisted on her own pic. Elizabeth helped herself to them. Turns out they were free of the top 8 allergies so they SMB. No dairy, eggs, etc. but Elizabeth liked the icing which I think was pure sugar. We watched the parade from almost the EXACT same spot for the earlier parade. I agree with you about Trail's End for dinner, but I love it for breakfast and lunch.
