Calories are non existant at the "World"!!!!!!! :rofl2:

Wednesday, December 5th OK, now it's time to show something nobody else on Fort Fiends has reported on. Today, I decided to go see Wreck It Ralph! I also decided to try the Dine In Theater I went to

Well, the pics are now uploaded to Photobucket, so let me get this trip report started!!! This was definitely a fantasyland trip for me, and a looooong awaited trip. I had been coming to the Fort sol

Glad you did this! I've been wondering what it was like.

We have a small chain around here called Chunky's that does the "sit in comfy seats and eat while you dine" thing and it's pretty cool. It definitely is a little distracting to have servers roaming around during the movie, but it's still a cool experience.

Although (thankfully) Chunky's is a good bit cheaper than Disney. 8)

Not sure I want to dine at a place called Chunky's. Things are bad enough already. :rofl2:

This TR is official... KFK's ghost has haunted it

Blame it on the netbook, and it's sometimes over sensitive keyboard

"South" "Adult Theater".... Carol, you are just encouraging us.

LOL!

Pee Wee Herman went to an adult theater once.

He got caught once. I bet he went more than once. :rofl3:

Truer words were probably never spoken.

Meka-leka-hi Meka-hi-nee-ho

oooookaaaaaaay, no comment on all that!

AoA looks cool!!! May need to wander over there in Feb. ;)

Your fireworks photos are BEAUTIFUL.

Thanks!!

I hope so!!

:rofl2: Good catch!

Fiends don't let anything slip!!!

I won't say the last movie we saw in a theater (the kids were young). Those prices blew me away! I know this is Disney, but REALLY?

Yeah, movie theaters are outrageous expensive. Especially considering 99% of all movies come out on BlueRay/DVD/Netflix within a few months of release, and lots of folks have large screen TVs with decent surround sound at home.

I rarely go to the theater, maybe once or twice a year. But I guess plenty of folks still do, or they wouldn't get away with those outrageous prices.

If only it had been dep as capt jack...

Yeah, but the ones they find are pretty good.

Another great update......i can never get enough.....except maybe for the men in skirts.

Thanks, yeah men in skirts are pretty weird, but reporting the weird is fun!!!

Thanks for the photos and info on the dine-in theater. We haven't tried it yet, but I would like to. The problem for us is finding the time.

No thanks for the photos of the dude in the skirt.

Thanks for reading!

Thursday, December 6th

Today is going to have lots of posts and TONs of pictures. What did I do today? I went to Legoland!!! A friend of mine has Ultimate Lifetime Passes to Legoland, and gets so many free admissions per year, and was kind enough to offer them to RADP friends, so I snagged one. A few folks have reported on Legoland, but nobody had done an indepth shoot of the the entire place. It was an awesome day. I was BLOWN AWAY by the entire place. As most of you know, Legoland is at the site of the former Cypress Gardens. I had never been to the original, but I was really pleased of how they combined the new (Legoland) with the old and preserved/refurbished the gardens in what I imagined to be their original style.

First off I went looping today looking for empty sites, then ran into Photogal!

IMG_7620.jpg

OK, on to Legoland!! It is about 30-40 miles away from Disney, but a pleasant drive.

The first attraction I rode was the Island in the Sky. I was actually a little disappointed cause they made you stay seated and couldn't get any good panoramic shots past the screen mesh. According to the park map, this was a Cypress Gardens original that had been resorted.

Wow, that's a lot of Lego photos.

If I ever go there, which I highly doubt, I'm going to bring a Godzilla costume, hop the fence, and have someone take some funny videos which will surely become YouTube sensations.

TCD

Yes, there is a lot of Lego photos, but this was the first time I'd been there. There is lots more to Legoland than just legos, and I will get to that I promise!!!!

Caught up!

That visit seemed so long ago. I suffer from CRS and wouldn't know which day was which. ^_^

Wish I had little ones to take to AOA! So cute!

Well thankfully since all the pictures are in order, I'm really guessing that morning pictures start each morning, then when it gets dark, that's the end of the day, and the next daylight picture I have is the next morning :)

:rotfl6: Sounds about right to me.

1. My eyes hurt from the man in the skirt.

2. My eyes feel better after the Cap'n Jack photo.

3. Legoland looks wayyyy cool...... thank goodness Lil H was distracted with a Batman movie. ;D
