Wow, finally hit my picture limit in a post. Cool. Now back to the irregularly entertainment.

and my favorite.

We did get back in time to get to the Specialist on time. We saw the head of the pediatric surgical department(very cool guy). He wanted to see her himself. He was updated on what went on at the hospital over the weekend with the interns. That should have clued us in that her dislocation wasn’t a small one. We thought –J- was getting the splint off then, based on the Dr/intern surfer dude. (very good Dr, but looked like he belonged on the beach catching waves, Jeff spikoli like.)

Well, she was but to a full cast. She picked pink, who knew…

photo-10_zps2a1549f6.jpg

photo-12_zps3e3b9deb.jpg

Dr said at least 3 weeks in a full cast based on what he saw on the xrays, her file and what we told him.

We didn’t know then that the Dr up here would say based on everything that he saw and knew she would then transition to a half cast splint for 4 weeks with a total recovery of 4-6 month for full motion to be returned to her. Ugh.

Returned to the Fort about 6pm. We were hungry.

We decided to get a giddy up n go and eat it in the cabin. I zipped up to the trails end and ordered, I waited outside with the crowds waiting for the hoop dee doo review. I listened to the clip clop of the carriage rides and just quietly enjoyed the peaceful happy atmosphere. On the way back it started to lightly rain. We ate and then tried looping in the golf cart but the rain was too bad. I remember seeing a few Fiend signs, but barely could see the sites due to the raindrops on the plastic. We would try again tomorrow. Our last day at Disney.

I just made 3000 views for my first trip reports. Yay me, I don't think I would get 1000. -G- thought I would get 500, he still doesn't get this place. Thank you all for the views. You made my trip

My husband works for Amtrak. So it works out cheaper than flying for us. On the plus side we have our car(which we needed), no gas spent on ride down, we didn't have to pay for a hotel, or drive thr

While working in DC, I looked into it and the cost of the trip at that time was the same amount I would have incurred driving. Plus with the train leaving at 4PM, you would get out of DC and south MU

We took the bus,

Your first mistake, stay off the damn buses!

our wait for a bus was about 22 minutes.

Are you sure it wasn't 22-1/2 minutes? What, you had a stop watch going?

All of you dummies that take the buses against my advice need to know that the 20 minute wait thing is not absolute. In fact, if you listen to the announcement, which none of you do anyway, it actually says approximately 20 minutes.

Thirty minutes or longer during certain times of the day or year are routine. So no more with the I waited for over 20 minutes baloney. You're wasting your time complaining because we don't want to hear it or care for that matter. Get in and sit or stand.

Twice an Epcot bus pulled in but changed the sign to somewhere else before pulling up

I'm scratching my head on this one. As the computer controls the signs, they can't be changed on the fly by the driver. The bus has to be stopped and the driver has to go in and override the computer and that takes time.

Plus once a bus is given their route before pulling out from the hub, in this case Epcot, buses do not get diverted. Routes are not changed on route. If the sign showed Epcot, then that's where they're going. So I can't explain what you saw.

Do buses ever get diverted while on route, yes, but in five years, it's happened to me once, so it's an extremely rare occurrence.

So we had to stand, again.

Oh you were expecting to sit? Did you also want a pillow?

Except for the buses that are being phased out, there is more standing room than seats. Disney does not have a seat for everyone policy. Maybe in Fantasyland they do, but not in the real world of WDW bus transportation. During peak times the odds are pretty good that you'll stand. You always have the option of waiting for another bus or driving yourself and avoiding the damn buses.

Disney did not contact us about her fall.

That's SOP. Unless an accident is without question Disney's fault, you're pretty much on your own.

Stuff like that happens all day long at WDW. They'll call an ambulance if needed, but that's usually it, have a magical day.

But if there is the slightest hint that it's their fault, that's altogether different.

Ditto on the sorry about the cast. And such a long recovery. People always say that fractures are better than these kinds of injuries because bones heal faster.

What are the details on the AAA story time? My girls are too old for that, but we are AAA members, and it might be something I could take my young nephew to some time. How do you sign up for it? Is it just at Epcot?

I've been so enjoying your trip report.

J and her outfits are the cutest things!

I know just how she feels, too. Dislocated my elbow during a volleyball game eons ago. It took awhile, but yes, it went back to normal in no time. And since she's little, it should heal just fine.

Hope the rest of your trip helped ease her pain. :)

Alrighty. It is our last day at Disney. We wake up just about a 9am, eat our cereal and while we were trying to decide what to do –J- said we still haven’t seen Merida or Tiana. So off to MK we go…again.

I don’t remember much about the wait for the boat so it must not have been too bad.

I do remember it was a Captain in training and he hit the dock hard and had some trouble getting it tied up.

DSCN0520_zps14956888.jpg

We all loaded on and were off.

-J- saying can we go home yet…

It is light crowds and we breeze right thru the bag check and the turn styles.

We walk into the main street and see that the Mickey meet is 10 minutes so we go.

Well enough of that…. Off to see what we can see.

-G- wants another shot at Pirates. So off we go to adventureland. We ask about Tinkerbelle and was told she is right inside adventureland. Coolie we find her and send Daddy off so see the pirates while us girls see the fairies.

The wait was about 20minutes. Which was posted.

We did get a little wet on the drop and the last cannon blast got us good. We both covered -J- so she didnt get the cast wet. The cast guy warned us dont get it wet..

We decided afterwards to eat and we chose the Tortuga Tavern. The food was good, -G- got the taco salad, I ate another ceaser salad and -J- had I don't know but she ate it all, plus the yogert and grapes. We also like the icecream dessert.

To be continued....

I asked my husband about this again. I know we both saw it happen at least once(I turned to him and said did I see that, he said you, what do you expect with our luck lately) and the bus did stop at the far end before changing the sign. Then pulled up for the animal kingdom. Which a bunch of people were waiting for. So who knows, I just report what I saw.

Weird or not.... and this trip has been really weird at times.

Thank you. I didn't play with barbies when I was growing up. I played with Hot Wheels and tonka trucks, so I guess she is my real life barbie. It also helps that she is all about the gittery, twirly and fru-fru. She is my enabler.

Ok I left off with us eating at Tortuga. We still had one princess to meet. Merida. We left Adventure land and walked over to her area. It was getting hot. Like 84 degrees and 1000% humidity hot, so I sent –G- off to ride some rides while –J- and I got our last princess of this trip (we only missed Pocahontas because we never made it to animal kingdom). Her wait was 35 minutes and it looked like it was really longer. We had to line up going over the bridge not back on that little walkway because they were shooting a commercial. It was neat to watch. It has an Asian woman and her daughter, walking and skipping up the walkway to the castle over and over.

The line didn’t move for about 15 minutes and in the heat and direct sun I was starting to wilt and glad I sent –G- off to space mountain, the circle of progress and the people mover. He was updating me by text, actually teasing me, but a moms got a do what a moms got to do and –J- loves her princesses. Specially Merida, that is who she was for Halloween.

Finally the line started moving and going pretty quickly. The total time of waiting was about 30 minutes.

The cool thing about Merida is that they have a waiting area with coloring stations and a bow and arrow game and a ton of helpers. One person from they group has to get in line for Merida though, and since it was just the two of us, -J- went to play and I got in line.

The area

DSCN0574_zps872dafdd.jpg

-J- coloring.

DSCN0576_zps3d0185dd.jpg

The line ahead of me.

DSCN0577_zps301d5cf6.jpg

At about this point –J- realizes with her elbow she cant do the archery which she loves at home and starts to loose it. She can’t find me in the crowd(I can see her so I get out of line and get her) but everyone tells me to get back where we were so that was nice.

I put her back in the stroller and head over to pick up Daddy after his ride on Space mountain. Half way there I realize I don’t have my photopass card. I freak. I ran her all the way back to find it on the ground were we had left the stroller while we were visiting Merida. I was soooo happy to find it. I wasn’t worried about loosing it since I had taken a picture of the back for the pass id number, but I didn’t want some weirdo having access to pictures of –J-. I was so glad to see it on the ground. Back around my neck it went and we were back off to get Daddy.

He was just getting on the ride per his text so we got a drink and sat down to wait.

DSCN0594_zps75d29894-1_zps7584997f.jpg

:(

He finally comes out, but he is smiling. So what to do now.. I know how about another Pirates ride. So off we go. There was no wait and we walked right up to a boat and got on. (so no pictures) It was fun again.

We decided one last ride today and we would head back to the fort to rest up for another character meal. –J’s pick is It’s a Small World. It was our last ride in Magic Kingdom for us.

The line was long but it was moving. We did pick the right side and it moved a little faster then the left side.

DSCN0598_zps3542a7a8.jpg

-J- getting tired. That cast is heavy.

That’s it Magic Kingdom is a wrap… We are done here.

We catch a boat back to the cabin. Take a short nap and head back out to eat dinner. We run into the monorail boat problem again...

So it is 4:15 and we head out to eat at the Floridian we had reservation for 5:15. 1900 Park Fair to be exact. It is looking like it might rain (like it did the last two days, and I hoped it wasn’t going to pour like it did last night) We took the stroller so I had something to protect –J- and her cast if we needed to wait a few minutes and for the walk to and from the boats and monorail. When we get to the Marina there was a line to get to MK. This didn’t bode well. We waited, and waited and waited. -G- was starting to talk under his breath, it started to lightly drizzle, and I put -J- into the stroller and covered her with a jacket. (Hoping I wasn’t going to need the plastic bag I brought). It took about 30 minutes for a boat to show up going to the MK. We hear that the Monorails are not working again and the big boats are being used to get GF and Poly guest back and forth. We finally get a little boat and we just make it on. I felt bad there was a family with granny in a scooter and they had to wait even though they were first in line. We get over to the MK area and all the boats are circling and having to take turns getting into the docks. It is not going smoothly. They even brought the private contemporary party boats in to help. We got off and then got in line for the GF and Poly boat. (we should have taken the bus). It was 20 minutes of standing in the light rain, with –G- loosing his mind over the lack of Disney’s foresight in handling crowds when the monorails go down. The Monorails had been down more than up as far as we could see this week. (Part of my husband’s job is handling crisis on a large scale while they are happening, He was at Katrina and NY at 9-11)So something that happens all the time like monorails not running should have a better system in his eyes. We made the second boat that came. It was the big boat.

DSCN0613_zps0571f5bc.jpg

We went to dinner only 3 minutes late.

One nice thing that they do at the GF is take a family picture next to a Christmas tree outside of the restaurant. We took our picture and were escorted inside. It is loud and feels unsettled compared to other places we have eaten. We ordered drinks and the server gave us the rundown on the buffet and events. Mother Tremaine was the only character out at the time we came in. –J- was freaked out and not in a good way. She kept one eye on her the whole time. Finally Prince Charming came out. He came around to us pretty quickly. –J- thought it was so cool to see him.

DSCN0616_zpsd64aab3d.jpg

DSCN0619_zpsdedb3ab4-1_zps9106367e.jpg

He then went to the table next to us. I had to take this picture.

DSCN0622_zps5022244d.jpg

Mother Treymaine came over. –J- was not happy. I enjoyed her. She kept asking my husband what we do with this one. She can’t be much help around the house with the arm. She asked what chores –J- was able to do….

DSCN0629_zps2e932d96.jpg

DSCN0632_zpsa0aadda7.jpg

-J- agreed to get her picture taken.

DSCN0628_zps2da573c1-1_zps7bcabd23.jpg

Then Daddy said I will take one too. The only character he wanted his picture taken with… I call this the Crank Off.

(we always say –G- is getting his crank on when he is grumpy)

DSCN0659_zps42ecc1c0.jpg

it might be a tie.

Cinderella comes out. She dances with Prince C for a while then starts to circulate.

DSCN0626_zpsa5ade063-1_zps27b35266.jpg

Then Anastasia. -J- likes her and she likes –J-

DSCN0636_zps891add14-1_zpsd2af0253.jpg

Then Drusilla

DSCN0641_zps11ebf434-1_zps6fc78b90.jpg

We ate. The food was ok, just ok. It was just a buffet, nothing special. No pictures. I would not do this meal/restaurant again.

The music started up and C and PC start dancing then they separate and Cindy comes over and asked –J- to dance. This makes her night.

Then we have a Mickey cupcake. We are done.

DSCN0648_zps25f34d85.jpg

It is about 7pm and we find it has stopped raining so we decide to head to the only open park. Epcot.

We go out to the GF bus area. The screen says we should have a bus in 7 minutes. Then 10 minutes, then 15 minutes. At about 18 minutes the bus shows up. We get the Epcot and the crowds are light. I picked the right bag check line and I’m in about 5 minutes. DSCN0660_zps1845d19f.jpg

We head to the fountain. We are trying to decide what to do. We look at the board that shows the times and they are all high. We decide to do a little shopping. –G- gets a coffee mug, -J- gets a Minnie mouse polly kit and I get…nothing. Nothing strikes me as I must have it, so I walk out. We go to DSCN0661_zpsf5e97f51.jpg for one last ride.

My husband has taught –J- to make funny faces at the photo taking time, so she does.

DSCN0666_zps568e6d5f.jpg

DSCN0670_zpsf291406c.jpg

Then we play in the interactive area after the ride. We actually got a chance since the crowds were light.

We are tired so we decide to call it a night..or vacation.

Time the bus left Epcot.

DSCN0700_zpsd99fbd80.jpg

Then hop on an internal bus to get our golfcart. I went up to the check in to settle up our bill. I had been buying Disney cards all year at the super market when I went shopping to spread out the cost of things we charged back to the room. Ex tips, alcoholic drinks, souvenirs, Kids play rooms ect. Our charges to the room where $530.00 and I had $425 in gift cards. So I was able to pay the balance with our debit card so no credit card charges. I went back and started to pack the car. About 10:30 it started to rain. I had put the golfcart on charge so put the rain protectors down to protect the charger but to charge it up for the next Kenny Cart Customer and hit the sack.

I LOL'd at your Lady Tremaine photos. They didn't have her back when my daughters were the age of yours. Good thing, too, I'm sure my girls would have been in tears.

Sorry about your transportation troubles. As you found, the Fort often gets the short end of the stick when they start moving things around. Got to take care of the folks who pay the big bucks first, you know, I completely agree with your DH, why in the world can't they have this figured out ahead of time and do a better job communicating the changes to guests?

Looking forward to the rest of your report!

I dont think i have ever seen those games after the SE ride.

We havent gone on that ride in about a decade though.

I am happy to see the merida meet n greet is still there. DD will love that.

Your DD seemed to have a lot of fun even after the accident.

She was in princess heaven the whole trip it seems.
