BUT... there seems to be this strange thing happening recently where even-more-outlandish-than-usual rumors are hitting the interwebz - often from the very site I quoted that from - and they of course go uber-viral and people go bananas.  That part isn't all that unusual - except maybe for the frequency that such "insider info" rumors hit that particular site, but what IS unusual is that Disney has actually made public posts refuting some of these lately - most notably this one and one the other day about the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room. Disney usually lets these things play out.  Not sure why they've jumped into the fray recently, except that maybe that the rumors involve attractions that have been around for ages and that longtime Disney fans really would go bonkers over if they changed them drastically or removed them altogether.
Meanwhile, the site publishing the rumors is likely getting a BOATLOAD of traffic off these.
As our fearless leader says, things that make you go hmmm.....

The kicker will be how they handle telling someone they told their stroller is too big to bring in the park when that person flips out and starts ranting about "I came 47,000 miles on a donkey and paid a BILLION dollars for this trip..."
I know Disney is amazing at training their CMs for handling people, but they're not always amazing when it comes to dealing with confrontational guests.

I think this will be just like any other rule enforcement where implementation is will depend upon the CM involved in the decision. Andy will say sorry it is too big, Mandy will let anything through and Candy will flip a coin.

C'mon, what else is there to do but laugh....

I wouldn't be surprised to see the line go to a Galaxy far, far away.
Long lines are here to stay I'm afraid. When Rene and I went to AK for an early extended hours rope drop by the time we got to the line for Flight of Passage the wait was four hours. WE didn't expect anything like that 9 months after it opened during the month of February. Sadly there are just too many people for too few marquee rides. 

Not all theme park experiences have to be rides to intrigue guests. Some visitors enjoy educational activities as well as those that give them unique moments with their family.

I personally think the car wash industry is behind this whole thing!  I think some car wash executive smuggled a couple of the conjoined "lovers" back from some convention in South America.  And here we are today! 

They probably hire WPG when BPG is on vacation. It's what happens when you hire specialists.

What I think would have been better is a sundae made out to be a unicorn farting rainbows. I can't think of any young girl that wouldn't like that.

My sources tell me they are replacing all of the existing fencing with chain link, as a means of testing the waters and conditioning Fort guests to accept this type of fencing.  Eventually, they will circle the Fort with chain link fencing, with barbed wire on top, as a deterrent to keep campers from entering the grounds of Reflections as well as the Four Seasons.  Although a memo to be delivered to Guests upon checkin will note that the fencing is designed to keep gators out of the camping loops.

All of the Friendly's in Buffalo recently closed too.  Sad.  
Since my wife and I grew up with Friendly's, we took our girls to one 10 years ago while staying at Normandy Farms.  I remember they had a kid's sundae that looked like a Clown Head...here's a picture I took of the menu when we went.

Well, I offered it to my 3 year old (now 13 y/o), and she started screaming "NOOO!!!!  Not the clown head!  I don't want the clown head!!!"
We almost had to leave the restaurant she was causing such a scene.  I got her to calm down finally and just got her a plain sundae.  I guess that kid doesn't like clowns.  

90% of them will become expensive pencil holders.  The other 10% will be broken by wives throwing them at their husbands after they ride on those non-air conditioned body odor absorbing human sweat boxes in August.

Thanks for posting the video link. Rene and I have never been there and are planning to spend a couple of days at Dollywood on our way to the Defeated Creek gathering. The roller coasters have one of the traits that makes Magic Mountain in California one of my favorite parks. That is they are built taking advantage of the mountainous terrain. For me that makes the ride more fun than something built over a piece of flat land.

Also, I knew they were planning bungalows but I don't think I appreciated the fact that when sitting on the side porch at TE you'll be looking right into them.  What a cluster this plan is.  I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they'd do the right thing by Fort Wilderness and create a beautiful, complimentary resort.  But this doesn't look good.  It truly is taking over the settlement.  

It will be with a Donkey/Mule and the CM's will know it as the Jackass Sessions.  
Disney fanatics are fleeced for every last $$ so they have bragging rights that they did everything at the resort.

As the story goes, Bob started painting the sign at the Tennessee T campground a couple of years ago....T.....E..... and he started getting tired and realized that Tennessee has WAY too many letters.  So he said to heck with it, painted XAS and the rest is history.

Can't change it, can't stop it, enjoy it while you can, that's my plan.

While I check out the Fort Wilderness facebook pages, I can't bring myself to participate.  All they seem to concentrate on is how to game the system, and also the latest fad they "must do".  That is what makes this site the best for Fort Wilderness.
