  1. Would it change anything if I said "I hear banjo music?"
  2. Also for the 600 loop, if you are assigned on the left side of the loop, you will get direct morning though afternoon sun that will shine through that large windshield and really heat up the camper. We were assigned to that side of the loop a couple of years ago, and it was all the AC's could do to keep up. I had to keep the front curtains closed for most of the day to keep the heat down.... They don't call that Loop Sunny Sage Way for nothing!
  3. What?! You mean I can get my teeth fixed? Oh never mind, if you cook that roadkill possum long enough and the correct way, it will just melt in your mouth....
  4. One motorhome and one 5'er ago, we pulled a 30" TT and used the Hensley Arrow. This was the original version as the Cub had not come out yet I have to say from personal experience that it was the best money that I spent and it offered the best towing experience. When we bought the trailer we had the standard weight distributing hitch with the friction sway control. I had it set up as best as possible, but when I switched over to the Hensley, it was like night and day.... The biggest things that I noticed what that the "sucking" feel that I got just as I passed a tractor trailer was elimina
  5. Before we can pronounce any Miller camping trip a success, we have to make sure that we have made at least one trip to a foreign Walmart in the vicinity of camping area.... The "mountainous" Wal-Marts in NC are especially entertaining as I think someone along the way has tampered with the gene pool.... Wait, did I just heat banjo music?
  6. Whoa, whoa, whoa there Tex..... I know your name is Andrew, but Tex sounded better.... Anyway, how can you give us all of these great details and completely skip over what you cooked with that awesome chuckwagon cook set....
  7. WooHoo! Pretty good for someone who knows absolutely nothing about beer or wine for that matter (other than Cheerwine, but that is for another day). Just know that everything in northern NY is tied to "Genesee" in some way, form or fashion...
  8. Hmmm looks very "Buffalo-ish" or Northwestern NY to me.... Am I right?
  9. We use Gilbert RV Insurance... They are an insurance broker, and only broker insurance specifically for RV's. We used to use State Farm to cover our RV's, but switched after speaking to one of our friends who works for State Farm. She said its better to go with someone who specializes in RV coverage. We have full replacement coverage, with diminishing deductables... every year we go without a claim, the deductable decreases $100 per year... So far so good.
  10. How about a stop at the "Myrtle Beach of the Mountains".... Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. There are a lot of things to see and do, and plenty of places to camp.
  11. The fruit and Nutella waffle from the Magic Kingdom... I tried to me the Chocolate Creme Brulee' from Fulton's Crab House, but couldn't quite get the consistency...
  12. I thought I had heard them all, you know... First on race day, found on road dead....but I guess FORD now has a new meaning...... F - Fire O - On R - Road D - at Disney Don't get me wrong, I love Ford products, even though I drive a Suburban.
  13. No, no, no.... that little parcel of space is just enough land for the new Starbucks location.... complete with a "drive-by" window. Check in, place your order with the CM then just pull ahead and have your steaming hot or cold coffee beverage handed to you. You don't even need to get out of your vehicle. You can even charge your purchase on your Magic Band!
  14. Judy, you might want to check out the food court over at Port Orleans Riverside. They have a soup and sandwich station between the "meat and veggie" station and the "made to order" salad station. They usually have a couple of soup selections that seem to change daily... Its close to the Fort and offers several options for others in your party that may want something else...
  15. If you like popcorn, you have to try the caramel corn from there.... my daughter calls it nuggets of gold.
  16. Since we bought ours from a dealer outside of Detroit, I spent the first night at a KOA outside of Cuyahoga Valley State Park before bringing her to the home port.
  17. WooHoo! a front row seat for me! Looking forward to hearing about the WW adventures. Gwen, it was good to see and meet you guys for the brief moment I was there... Once the "rock stars" arrived, my time got sucked dry running from place to place with them. Now on with the show!
  18. Like everyone else has said... "RV" camping is great, especially with a little one... We started out in the natural progression of the RV'r... Tent, then 2 pop-ups, a travel trailer, a 5th wheel, now a motorhome. I can remember moving the table out of the way in our first pop-up to make room for Ashleigh's portable crib. We had a high chair that clamped to the table, and bathed her in a baby tub on the table we had to move out of the way... That same little one, is now getting ready to graduate high school and go off to college. She still loves and wants to camping. I travel a lot for
  19. Would it surprise anyone if I told you I had to look up what mensa meant? I didn't think so....
  20. That's the best you can offer up? As my friend Forest Gump once said.... "I'm not a smart man..."
  21. This may not sound very intelligent, but I do live in the south..... Go ahead Lou, let it out... I can take it... I've probably heard them all anyway.
  22. I have been listening to this particular site for a couple of years now.... The thing that is nice about it, is that you can choose the music you want to listen to... Gary is right, at this time, no Fort specific music....
