You are not going to believe this.... The battery is shot! Ugh, off to interstate battery for a warranty replacement As for why it came that way, it's FR design to be low profile for towing. When presented with evidence it was too low and had minimal clearance they wanted to do nothing. A few well crafted letters to FR and parent company Berkshire Hathaway I got the intended results Back to the battery, it was fine a week or 2 ago when we installed the fan and the volt meter, had the converter charge it for the few hours we worked on it. fridge was off as was everything else but the lp detec -

UPDATE! Its Fixed So if you have been following along, I had a tire clearance issue, i ordered the parts and those came in yesterday, along with the the second order of parts from FR I purchased the correct kit, and again FR sent the wrong kit! Now the only thing outstanding is the Check from FR to cover the Parts i purchased install was just under 1 hour, and then i did 2 road tests and decided with the lift kit installed i needed to flip the receiver as it was originally a 2 inch drop, now its a 1.XX something rise and everything sits exactly where i want it. heres my 2007 Nissan Xte -
scooter rentals, how do they work?
swimmarz replied to swimmarz's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I don't think scooters can go on the small boats, ya know the ones that look like jungle cruise boats, but the bigger ones I have seen them on. Thanks for all the advice thus far! I think the bil used buena vista scooter -

swimmarz replied to Travisma's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I Laughed at that.... I just imagine the intimidation factor that comes with this... there i am its 10:55 am, I am still folding up the PUP and here comes Jim with his Dodge 3500 dully, and 42 ft 5er toyhauler. I hear the diesel clatter and try to ignore it as i stuff the tent in the trailer, BRAAAAAA BRAAAAAA ( air horns) "you done yet?!?!?" -
I have a trip coming up in December 11-14 at the fort. My parents and sister+ husband will be staying at a hotel in down town Disney for 1 night the 11th as we are attending MVMCP. My dad has a hard time walking long distances, and so were renting him a scooter.( basically his hip is worn out and gets hot to the touch after 100 yard walk) My BIL is renting the scooter and says it will be delivered to the Fort, as the plan is to take the boat from the fort to the party. My question involves with the process of pick up and drop off of the scooter? My BIL said it will be delivered to the outpos

So Disney will force someone to move and not let them stay in the site? Its not like a hotel where its just let me pack my bags, its more complex, I just assumed ( and we know what assuming things do) that they would let them stay in what ever site they were in and make accommodations for the other reservations the reason I made that comment is its happened to me at a hotel, booked a 3 room suite, and could not use it the first night of my reservation as someone didn't check out, (1000 room hotel and only 100 suites, 20 of them being a 3 room version). I was put in a smaller room and the

I have a vita-mix, I did get a refurbished one, we absolutely love it! My wife wanted it 4 years ago shortly after our first son was born, its made tons of baby food for both our boys.( 2 and 4 now) I have used it to make my own peanut butter, pizza dough, soups and of course smoothies and alcoholic beverages. and now i am experimenting with spices/ sauces for BBQ The key thing about any blender that you get is dont put it away, if you keep it on the counter you use it, if you have to dig it out and all the parts you wont. that being said if you get a vitamix you will be happy! swimmarz replied to ependydad...Doug's topic in Regular Vacations
I understand your predicament, construction zone, bad weather, long trailer. as long as you do what you feel is right i have no issues, like i said purely educational for those visiting Florida as my neighbor is a city cop, and the whole state of florida, FHP, city cops and sherrifs are cracking down on this per our weekly beer conversation -

I was reading the blog and i wanted to point something out, you said you used the 4 way flashers while driving. If you were in Florida that was illegal. I believe you were in Georgia but wanted to point it out. I'am not here to beat anyone up over this, but educate, Anytime we get heavy rains in the forecast the news stations run the story to educate the public see below for details. drive safely In Florida, it is illegal to drive with your hazard lights. Hazards lights are for stopped vehicles only, officials say. The one situation where Florida drivers are allowed to use their hazards w -

Just an update, its been almost 2 weeks Since I contacted Forest River about being sent the wrong parts, and still have no Tracking information on the replacement parts. and this whole ordeal about the spacer/ axle issue started in July. as a result I have now ordered the parts from the internet that i need, the ones that should have been sent over a month ago I should have them on Thursday and I plan to install them on Saturday so i can close this issue out and start using the unit. My advice is never buy a forest river product, they cant support it properly should a problem arise, and th -
