Indeed it does. My wife just updated the app, and that's one of the first things she mentioned.

The gentleman's screen name is BayLake Campers.  He's still active on the boards. PM sent with more info.

P.S. There's also a sticky on the crafting board that may have more info if needed. Hope this helps.

WrigleysWagon got a reaction from Avatab.... Steve in Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground
Ok going to try and post some pictures here through Flickr. My son and I stayed at this place in Elizabethtown KY. It used to be a KOA but is privately owned now. We had a good time, even though pretty severe storms blew through one night. All things considered we had a good time and will probably go back sometime.

Doubt it.  Seems they would actually prefer you pay for a site, but not stay there. I'm sure they'd probably be just fine with you mailing a check and staying home too!  Pay, but don't use as many services and amenities is a great deal for Disney.

Makes sense. When you can cook directly on the table top it saves on the gas/electric bill!

Don't let TCD run you off. Admittedly I haven't read all of his close to 22,000 posts, but of the ones I have read the majority have a negative tone them. I wouldn't take it personally. You said your piece, he expressed his opinion, as is often the case, folks disagree. That's the way it goes sometimes. I'd hate to see a wealth of information like you lost over something this trivial.

We've been watching all day. If you want to get our attention, you can use the report button, it's much better at getting our attention than downvoting people who aren't us.
As far as this thread is concerned, I don't see the foul, frankly. Once the phone number was removed, I don't think there's anything wrong here. I don't see any bad intent on the part of the original poster, and I'm on record for quite a long time now as being generally against mods deleting posts. If the OP wants to delete, that's his prerogative.

WrigleysWagon got a reaction from Tri-Circle-D in Fire Extinguisher Recall
Someone had previously posted this in the technical issues board, but it only had 25 views. Seeing as how almost 40 million extinguishers are involved it should probably get a little more attention.  Apparently Kidde brand fire extinguishers with plastic handles are either failing to work, or are coming apart when discharged. Below is a link with info on the recall, and another to the page Kidde redirects you to if you have an affected extingusher.  Stay safe!

WrigleysWagon got a reaction from Avatab.... Steve in Site is losing its steam :(
I agree. Some just have nothing but negative comments, or responses to posts. I guess you get that everywhere though. I have to admit, I'm guilty of not being as active on here though. I'm from KY and only get to the fort once a year if that, so I really don't have a ton to contribute compared to those who frequent the place. I do ask questions when we are prepping for our trip, or when I have a valid comment, but I usually don't just comment for "post count".  I do love this site. Thanks to the admin for the great job they do keeping it going. It's a labor of love I'm sure, but still lots of labor.

WrigleysWagon got a reaction from Avatab.... Steve in Is the magic gone?
Well, not exactly but i like your basic train of thought. If all the magic was really in your heart and imagination, then you wouldn't need an escape from your everyday lives.  You would feel perfectly magical in your living room, the same as the MK!  No, even Walt himself said he wanted people to feel as if they stepped into a whole new world when they got to the parks, to escape from life. Some of that responsibility falls to those running and working at the parks to show you a magical time.  Just didn't feel it this time. We still had a good time as a family, but it was in spite of much of what we encountered.

Not to belabor the point but this may be a big factor, all least in our case. Assuming you live close and have the ability to go on weekend trips on a somewhat regular basis, an off trip may not impact you as much.  We travel 16 hours over two days to get there and place a great deal of our "vacation eggs" in Disney's basket.  An off trip for us has an especially disappointing sting.   All things considered, we are blessed enough to even have the opportunity to go to Disney at all.  That in itself, after a bit of time to cool off, makes me feel a little better about the whole thing.

I would agree with both of you, but with the amount of indifference I saw from cast members last week, and the tolerance of profane language and attire, I'm starting to think that it is all about the $$.  For us, the experience was just simply not the same. A little sad really.

WrigleysWagon got a reaction from djsamuel in Singing Hills Campground - Mammoth Cave KY
This was a nice little campground.  The sites were mostly pull through, but them seemed really close together.  They did have a small pond and swing set to keep kids entertained.  The host was a really nice guy with lots of info to share.  All and all, not a bad place to stay of you're in the area.
