  1. Been reading along this whole time. Looks like you and Z had so much fun together. Loved his I am excited face before meeting Anna and Elsa. So cute!
  2. So glad to see you back and that I had so much to catch up on. We are officially booked for our trip next summer. :) It includes a trip to Universal because I am one of those wizard nerds. Can't wait to see all the Harry Potter stuff! Anyway, as usual I enjoyed your report. :)
  3. I haven't been on ff.net in almost a year but came back to this trip report. Then I went back and read all your other reports from December, New Year's, spring break and the day trips. Thanks for the good reading! I even read a few other trip reports, too. My husband is on a business trip and I have insomnia so this has helped pass the time I logged back on because we are finally a year out from our next trip! I know still a long time away but I can start getting excited now. We have only been that one time during the summer of 2011 so this is a long time coming. Unfortunately, we won
  4. Congratulations! I have an 11 month old boy. Time flies once they get here. Last year at this time I was miserable and now my sweet baby is 1 month away from being a year old. He is climbing everything and into everything all day long. :) We got a seat near the window at Ohanas but we were there for character breakfast. My big kids love Lilo and Stitch so I don't even remember looking out it. We were too focused on characters. Sent from my Kindle Fire using Tapatalk 2
  5. Gorgeous pictures. We will have to visit there someday. We are headed to Mt. Rushmore and Colorado Springs in a couple of weeks. We have never been to either place so that will be a new adventure for us. :)
  6. This trip report just helped me out. :) We are about to travel to Mt. Rushmore from Moore, Ok in 2 weeks. North Platte is about 500 miles away and that's about how much we like to drive in one day. We will stop there for the night. I think we'll go to Fort Cody and I'll put Runza and Taco Johns on our list of places we should eat at. Thanks!
  7. I loved this trip report. I loved seeing pictures of your two beautiful daughters. Love their gorgeous hair. My 10 month old son has light red hair and I hope it stays. My mom is red headed and my husband's side also has red hair so we'll see. Lady Tremaine and her daughters look like they were a lot of fun. :)
  8. So glad I came aboard and read this report. Enjoyed it. But Holy Smokes! You are either the world's nicest dad or the world's craziest dad by buying that shower curtain. The bargain hunting girl in me would think that's a week's worth of groceries for my family.
  9. Hello, I have been MIA for at least a year and a half. I went to Disney in June/July 2011 and even met you while I was there. Then I came home made a trip report. Life got busy and I forgot to come back. Here's one of the reason's life got busy. Chase was born in August last year. My neighbor just got back from staying in a cabin at the Fort so I decided to come see how things were doing here. And of course the first trip report I see is yours. :) And then I read it-took me 5 days- and it made me teary. Kids grow up way too quickly. My oldest is 11 and my daughter who turned 6 wh
  10. You have adorable kids. :) My family enjoyed the people mover, too. We liked it so much that we rode it again even though we got stuck in the dark part for a few minutes. Can't wait to see more. :)
  11. Just popping in to let you know I've been reading and enjoying. I don't have much time to be on here anymore but I am not feeling well so I am resting and reading at the same time. :) Sometimes being sick is a good thing.
  12. I know I am late to the game since I've been gone for a month but this has been the best trip report. I am so glad you shared it with us. I teared up when you got free passes to Animal Kingdom. Your kids are gorgeous. :heartsmiley:
  13. We are headed to Branson, Mo in a few weeks. We are going to stay at Silver Dollar City's Wilderness campground. It's not Fort Wilderness but at least it's something. :)
  14. Hello! It's been a month since I've been here. I've been busy with volunteering for the cub scouts and PTA and substitute teaching at my kids' school. Darn all of that stuff getting in the way of reading this board. I miss this place. The good news for me is I came back to a trip report from TCD. Happy belated Birthday. :) I enjoyed your report as usual. :) Loved the Rocky pics. He's so handsome. I must figure out a way to get back there sooner rather than later. Although, I think sooner will still be at least 2013.
  15. I've been busy the past couple of weeks with school starting back up and getting the house organized. You'd think I'd have a lot of time to read the board since both kids are at school but I've spent my days cleaning out closets and rooms. I've missed out on so much around here. But I just spent the past hour catching up on this report. :) I'll have to catch up on the others later because my eyes are tired. I've enjoyed this report. We didn't get a chance to visit the other resorts (besides the Contemporary when we got on the monorail) so it's nice to see at least one of the resorts in pi
  16. I went searching for Happy Camper t-shirts. Lots of cute ones! I'll have to let her choose which one she likes best. :)
  17. Did you make her shirt or can you buy that? I love it! My daughter needs something like that for when we go camping with the cub scouts.
  18. Just got caught up. :) My daughter loves Marie and all her other pets, too. She has a full size bed and half of it is taken up by her animals. She's not really into baby dolls but she loves stuffed animals. She can never have enough! That's wonderful about your WL meal. Yum! The back of the suv brought tears to my eyes. My husband used to work on helicopters in the marines. He didn't go up in them often but it always scared me to death when he did. My heart breaks for all of their families. I am sad that we missed out on so much at Animal Kingdom. That was the day the rain came dow
  19. I keep getting choked up, too. Loving this report, though.
  20. How neat is that place! I went to the website and looked at the pictures under the scrapbook link. :) It looks like a lot of fun.
  21. Love it so far. I am sorry about your mom but glad that you were able to take that trip with her.
  22. I hear ya, Judy. Same thing up here in Oklahoma. Today it's going to be 109. I love summer, but not this. I told my husband that if it weren't for my family and friends holding me back I'd put the house up for sale and have him look for a job in another state. He's a government employee so it'd be fairly easy, but I don't want to move my kids away from their grandparents. Our winter was extremely cold and now our summer is extremely hot. This better not be our new normal.
  23. Thanks for reading, Dave. I am amazed you sat through it all in one sitting. It must not have been too boring, thank goodness. Ikea Is like a 5th theme park. :) Hoping to take my friend down to the one in Texas soon. She's never been and I must fix that. My other good friend just landed in Orlando a few hours ago. I am a tiny bit jealous.
  24. Dollywood reminds me of Silver Dollar City. I can see why you like it so much. I love SDC. I started going there when I was 8 and everytime I go it feels like home even though it's a theme park. SDC has that big circle ride that spins and goes back and forth. It was a ton of fun but boy did I feel sick afterwards. I very much enjoyed your trip report. One day we will make it out there for a vacation.
  25. You have some brave nephews. I admit that I was a tiny bit scared. Thank you very much for your kind words. :) I still can't get over how much fun we had. I've made 5 photobooks so far from the pictures we took and I only made it through 5 days of our vacation. :) I am glad we have so many pictures to help me to remember what a wonderful trip we had.
