  1. Here is my Lola, she is my :rofl2: She belonged to my best friend's dil, but then the kids came and she wasn't getting any attention. I asked (begged) for her all the time and they finally decided that she needed a good home where she would be the center of the world!! Trust me, she is! :rofl2:
  2. I ride in the car with the windows down, usually down to the river. There's something about water that is relaxing to me. I'm sorry you're going through a rough time right now.
  3. I had that same thought this morning! Kristina gets to pick up her new TT today!
  4. I found this site that had lots of simple crockpot meals! http://southernfood.about.com/library/crock/bl6orless_pork.htm This was the pork page, but there are recipes for other meats as well. Click on the other links!
  5. That's great news! I know you are so excited! 2 days and a wake up!
  6. $18.49 x 4 + tip = $87 and some change for breakfast! I don't think we'll be going there any time soon. I can cook lots of breakfast for that kind of money!
  7. We haven't tried it, but it sounds great! My Mama thinks breakfast is THE meal of the day and the Contemporary is close to the Fort! We may have to try it!
  8. I have used this site in the past to plan our activities at the parks. http://www.easywdw.com/category/calendar/march-calendar/ It's gonna be busy!
  9. I think it depends on what you're fishing for! I use #7 Tru-turn hooks when I fish for bream and other smaller fish.
  10. Yes, that's why we get caviar/roe! It is not easy to tell them apart though. Here is a link with more than you want to know about determining the sex of a fish. http://www.fishhead.com/articles/ventsex.htm
  11. Happy Birthday, Jen! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and your special day!
  12. I love the pictures of your family, it looks like they are really enjoying the trip!
  13. I peel the husks back and "silk" my ears before I soak them, if I am grilling in the husks. If I am doing them in foil, I butter them and sprinkle with a wee bit of chili powder.
  14. First things, first! :'( Glad to see you joining us here! I'm sorry to hear that you can't get a reservation. Have you looked online and called?
  15. I'm a teacher and this is my son's first year teaching! With all the budget cutting and ridiculous legislation going on here in Florida, we might end up going to China! I'll let you know!
  16. I  Steak! I could eat it everyday and have been known to do so for a solid week! I like mine thick, rubbed with garlic and olive oil and grilled rare to medium rare. I loved the roasted garlic butter at Yachtsman's Steakhouse! I also love the special marinade that my son uses for a quick marinade before he grills! One of the few times I remember having a "bad" steak was at Spoodles.
  17. I thought y'all might want to know these dates if you are planning a trip down during this time, like we are! MK will be closed early for Grad Nite to begin. Grad Nite 2011 Dates! April 29th, 30th, May 6th and 7th, 2011
  18. We had a bus driver that surely knew how to step on the gas, my poor Mama was nervous! She introduced herself and we understood why she drove like she did, her name was Camille. (the hurricane that devastated Biloxi, Mississippi) She was actually really sweet and talked the whole trip!
  19. I loved the Wonders of Life and Body Wars! We were there once when they were all open, including Cranium Command. I think it was December of 2006. I know that Body Wars really needed to have some refurbishment, it was rough! At one time they had Carousel of Progress open seasonally too, but it was always open when I went. I don't know what their plans are, but I wish they would refurbish it!
  20. I would drive! When my brother had to be at Epcot for his 5k early, we drove and it seemed like we got there real quick!
