  1. That is actually a brillant idea to do one park a trip, ecspecially with small kids and to be honest, I hadn't thought about touring the resorts until you posted that, most excellent idea! Last trip my kids chose to stay in the campground the last day instead of do a park. I'd love to hear more about your camping recipes, if i read correctly you did alot of precooking and baking before you left. I had the best of intensions to do that but it just didnt work out :rofl2: That would be a good thread to start in the recipe section! I would love to have ideas about pre-cooking foods for the tri
  2. I've been unsnarky for way to long. This is my first chance on this board to let it fly. Endangering your man card, that's an understatement. Sounds like you shouldn't have one in the first place. Rip it up and flush it. I hope that while your prancing amongest the flowers and gardens, that at least you have a beer in your hand. Flowers are only good for one thing, a bribe, if you know what I mean. I go every year, never noticed the flowers though. Boy, it felt good to let that out. Can you imagine what WebmasterKathy would say if she read that. :rofl2: :rofl2:
  3. Thanks! I will have to tell my brother, he has been the one making the arrangements! I am such a lucky lil sis!! :rofl2:
  4. This will be our first camping trip in many years. We are leaving to head to the Fort on March 28th! :rofl2: We are renting a camper from http://makecampingeasy.com/?page_id=10 for the trip, so that means we need to pack all that we need to take down with us. Does anyone have a list that they use for packing to go to the Fort?
  5. I really want another camper! Our family has done tents, pop-ups, motor homes and travel trailers in the past; but our dynamic is kinda different now. Our family unit is my Mama, brother (Runner) my 25 year old son and me. We need room to spread, but want something easy and efficient to travel with. We are renting a 5th wheel from http://makecampingeasy.com/?page_id=10 to make sure we are ready to hop back in the camping world! We are so excited! :rofl2: If you have any suggestions pros or cons about one type of RV or another please jump in with your opinion!
  6. We'll be there twice! :rofl2: March 28th - April 1st and May 6th - 8th! I get to see Davy Jones! :rofl2:
  7. Our experience at LC was not good, I would never pay those prices to eat there again. Thank goodness we found the Fort and can grill our own steaks!! I have figured out that they keep raising the prices to make the DDP seem "worth it" to potential customers. Meanwhile, if you pay out of pocket, watch out!!
  8. We've never used a travel agent. I notice Dave said, "it's free" Is it really? I always thought you had to pay extra so they could make a profit. If it is free, that would be an easy option! The phone thing irritates the stew out of me, I can't understand why WDW does not have an 800 number and the irritating questions and hold time add to the frustration. When you try to book online I have to sit and figure out if they are giving me the discounted rooms because it does not show it and if you aren't paying attention, you could end up booking with no discount.
  9. Thanks for posting this! I posted on an earlier thread that having an AP is dangerous because it makes you plan more trips! As soon as I saw this I started thinking, "ooh, my son will be out of school in june..." :rofl2:
  10. I actually heard a CM at the Meadows pool tell someone in line that the old brownish mugs from the Fort were good forever after she had refilled one for someone.
  11. I love the defiance! I just never thought of that, now I'm gonna do that too!
  12. Soaring and Test Track for sure. I love Illuminations! I have not done it, but many people love the Kim possible missions around the World Showcase. Turtle Talk is very cute. We always do Livin with the Land, not a thrill ride, but neat still. There is a ton of things to do at Innoventions that are really neat. I know you can spend days here, but I do believe you can a lot done in a day! :rofl2:
  13. That would be good, or at least link to your trip report! We want peolple to be able to find info on this site!!
  14. Your family sounds precious and all the kids are adorable! I'm glad they had such a good time!
  15. Thanks! I have just explored all of FW and WDW! I appreciate you posting this here for us!
  16. It looks like a pretty place. I'm happy with most any site by the water!
  17. Wow, looks like you had an awesome day! I love the pics of the Fantasy Land expansion and the other park photos as well. Thank you!
  18. I am gonna mention the "danger" that having an AP brings...you end up saying to yourself, "Well, I do have an AP and I want to get my money's worth so I need to plan a few more trips!" Everytime we buy AP's we end up making at least 4-5 trips. This year I have already been twice on my AP and we have 4 more trips planned! :rofl2: We are lucky to live close enough to do this!
  19. Awwww, so sweet! Thanks for posting those pics from y'alls honeymoon! They are awesome!
