As long as they follow Florida traffic regulations, anyone is free to use the roadways at WDW for cycling, walking, or jogging, but I cringe whenever I see it.
It's not a good idea to do any of those activities for the reasons TCD mentioned.

I'm a big fan of over planning and over thinking trips to WDW.
Ask me and I'll show you my spreadsheets.

While it sounds logical, and as TCD explained, it's not.

I'm thought of as mainly a bus driver, but the majority my experience at WDW is working in the Front Office at various resorts, 5, but who's counting, the Fort not being one of them.

I prefer it when it's extra busy, so I loved working Sunday mornings at the resorts. It was a zoo. Get everyone out, and get everyone in........eventually.
Sunday is the busiest check out/check-in day, at WDW resorts, but if you decide to check-in on a Sunday, unless it's a slower time of the year, expect a room later rather than sooner.
According to TCD, that's also the case at the Fort, and Monday would be the better day.

I hate it when I have to agree with "the great one"

This is the response of the day, brilliant Marty. It pretty much sums it up.

Very weird, but not out of the question.
There are a couple of possibilities why a Disney bus would be up there.
It's hard to believe that a driver would be lost that far up.

    Is Nicki in town yet?

Thanks Jean Ann, took it just this morning.

Dobby is just the sweetest light guy. He just wants to be loved. He'll climb up on your lap, and plop himself down like he's known you forever.
He's low maintenance, as long as you play with him once in a while. He hasn't messed in the house at all. He's eating real well, just loves veggies.
We're still amazed, and confounded as to why someone brought him back to the shelter after only a month. We were smitten by him on the first day.
He went to the Vet for a follow-up exam yesterday, and all's well. He's put on 1/2 lb. which is a lot considering his size, but he's still ok weight wise.
We haven't seen him experience another seizure, so we're hoping that he hasn't had any that were unseen by us.

    I'll be by.

I'm glad you posted that Judy. It gives me the chance to post something I've been meaning to do.

Using any one of the drawings from that website, here's something to try if want something that you'll be able to frame that's made by the kids, and you, or just you.

You'll need to pick up some 8-1/2 X 11 Transparency Film at the office supply store. It's what's used to make presentations for use in overhead projectors.

You'll also need Acrylic paint that you can buy at any store that sells Arts & Crafts supplies, Walmart is one. The drawing you selected will determine what colors you'll need. Also pick up a package of cheap brushes in various widths.

You don't have to be artistic to do this, so dive in, the results might surprise you.

Put one sheet of the transparency film in a copier, and copy the selected drawing. Do a test run on plain paper first just to make sure it's what you want. The Transparency Film is pricy, so you don't want to experiment with it.
Do not try this on a cheap copier as you want crisp, sharp lines. If you have a good scanner, that also works.

Assuming the previous step was successful, and working on the non image side of the Transparency, apply the paint onto the film. You'll notice I said apply it, and not paint it. Put it on thick, and using a brush, push the paint covering part of the line, but not going past it. Don't worry if it does go past the line. You have to work quickly as the paint dries fast. After it dries, you can use something that is made out of plastic that has a sharp edge to gently scrape the excess paint back to the line. Flip the sheet over after each color to inspect it, because once you apply the next color, you can't make corrections to a previous color, so get each area as you want it before moving on.

Let the kids apply one color, you scrape off the excess, and filling in of any unpainted areas. Do this one color at a time. When completed, flip it over, and if you followed the instructions, used a little care, you should have a decent looking Faux animation cell.

If you decide to frame it, use white or colored paper to back it.

I'd start with a simple one character drawing, maybe puppy Pluto or baby Minnie. Once you master the technique, try a scene, like the Snow White scene. Do it for Dave.

The process is called "Reverse Painting". It goes way back in time, and was normally done on glass, without the line drawing of course.

Summary of this month's message from the Wilderness Region GM.

In the few weeks that he's been head of the WR (Wilderness Region) he has been truly impressed and inspired by the commitment, and dedication of the Cast. He feels that this dedication and commitment takes on a special meaning to guests each day, especially during the holidays.
He, and all WR CMs, can now look forward to all of the great things that this New Year brings.
He points to several exciting events, and milestones that are coming up.
This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the Wilderness Lodge as well as the 40th anniversary of the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. Also in 2014, MyMagic+ will continue to evolve and reshape the guest experience. With all of these exciting events, He's looking forward to 2014, but mostly he is thrilled to be part of the region.
Keeping all the new enhancements in mind this new year, he hopes that all WR CMs have a safe, happy, and healthy new year.

Of all the underhanded, weasely, things Dave has done, this takes the cake.

I wish they would contract someone, like me for instance, to do a 3d computer generated photo-realistic version of the entire model.
It's entirely possible if there are enough photos around.
Someone did a tiny portion of it, but IMO, it's amateurish, and it doesn't look real. It's a Mickey Mouse attempt.
Once the 3d CGI model is created, they could build a 3d virtual ride through the entire city. It could go inside the buildings, ride the monorails, and a lot of other neat stuff.
Now wouldn't that be neat, instead of some of the crap that they do have at Epcot.
