  1. That's for a full hook up. It's 88 for a tent site but you are right that's higher than a cats back. And a big part or why we can't or won't be going. I like the tent idea. 118 preferred 127 premium :rofl2:
  2. Just checked and the Fort has all site types available for a Saturday only stay on a holiday weekend. Boy, that's unusual. They are also available for a week or longer. Too bad we can't go. Just thought I would give a heads up to any local Fiends.
  3. why would you ever put your beer down? Oh or did you mean a place to hold your next beer? In that case I agree with you. >:D
  4. The Fort is the only private campground we go to so all the other places we camp we don't expect there to be cable.
  5. Well, I start out with a glass of ice that used to have diet Coke in it and add a good Kentucky Bourbon gently rock from side to side and enjoy.
  6. Anyone know the minimum number of days to rent from Kenny
  7. I use the 12" metal sand stakes. You need to be sure and pull the stakes out at the same angle as they were driven in. I have seen many people trying to pull straight up to remove a stake that was driven in at an angle. pull \ not |
  8. The DWs List. EVERYTHING WE HAVE Stop at the store and get more
  9. So how long is the bus ride from The Magic Kingdom to California Adventure Park?
  10. Are they actually trying to say the disney parks haven't turned a profit in 2 years? Does anyone anyone else find that impossible to believe?
  11. My clocks all SPRUNG forward but my body will take a slow walk forward and get there about Wednesday.
  12. If you want to guarantee the kids catch something get the smallest hooks you can find. If you plan on catch and release use a pair of pliers and flatten the barb on the back of the hook. This will allow for easy removal and minimum trauma to the fish. This strategy will catch fish if there are fish in the water but they will be small fish.
  13. :rofl2: Love a good trip report
  14. Thanks for posting the link. I used to have this on my old computer but lost it when the computer crashed. I like to have it playing while I'm on the board or looking at Fort Pics.
  15. What are you trying to do, Scare TCD into never joining us. :siren:
  16. At the risk of endangering my man card the Flower and Garden Festival is my favorite time to visit EPCOT. Food and Wine Festival is fun too but way too expensive by the time you buy all the samples. F&G runs March 2nd, through May 15th. Here is the link to Disney's site with all the info. Flower and Garden
  17. I use online and then have to call to modify and ask for discounts. The survey questions bugs me to no end. It would not be as bad if THEY were paying the phone bill but you have to pay for the call and give them market research. Only Disney gets away with this crap. God I hate I love Disney.
  18. Yup!! If you're gonna do it, you gotta remove the whole ass... :rofl2: OK , OK, I fixed it.
  19. -3 respect! I never would have guessed that there would be Larry supporters on this site.
  20. Yea that's what I like. Nice golden brown. slide the crispy part off and roast it again. Do it right and you can get 3-4 roastings per. Cant wait to try one of those BIG campfire one. I bet I do that one 10 times.
  21. It would work. Until they find it or someone reports it. :) Then poof along with 4 more permanent bans. :) :) Wouldn't is suck to get banned for posting "." Anyone looking for us only has to Google fort fiend or fort friend and they will get a link to this site. It was tuff to find us in the very beginning but not now. :) :D :)
  22. When we tent camped we kept our food stuff in a Rubbermaid bin with snap-on top in the back of the truck. My trucks have always had either a topper or tonneau cover so items are out of the weather and secure. We do have a Tupperware bread keeper but it is more to keep the bread from being squished than to keep it fresh. Squirrels and brides are the biggest food thefts I have encountered at FW. There are armadillos, bunnies, deer, turkeys, beer stealing otters and you would think raccoons but I have never seen one in the campground. I don't know if Disney has a program to remove them or not
  23. This is a gigantic MOUSE TRAP for semi locals. When we had PAPs the cost of the tickets was nothing compared to the cost of all the extra trips. Gas, lodging, food, golf cart rentals, souvenirs. Not to mention the feeling that you HAVE to go to WDW every time you get any time off. That mouse is a sly one. Be afraid. Be very, very, afraid for your wallet.
