  1. No, I didn't leave a message. I saw the board, but didn't stop. I meant to come by later but never got a chance!
  2. Moving along... This will be a relatively short update, as I didn't take many pictures on Monday. Deal. Thankfully it started warming up on Monday, so it wasn't miserable for our DHS Ropedrop. I had been to ropedrop at DHS once before the day before Thanksgiving last year, and it was pretty packed. That time I was second in line at the turnstile, and nearly got run over by the CRAZY PEOPLE running down the street to Toy Story. At that time they had additional ropes set up going to each section of the park, which they made us wait at until it was actually 9:00. We went down the road to RnRC
  3. I like the outside heater idea, but hopefully we won't be camping enough in the cold to need one! It was great meeting you last week! Glad there are other dorks out there. Thanks! But while I may have had something to do with the redheads, I had nothing to do with the horses. It wasn't our first GAG ever, but first of the trip (there is one more to come). We had our first back in November and I was hooked! I actually ate the leftovers in the truck on the way home after our trip. We were on winter break, so of course we immediately headed to the Fort! Glad you have band kids! I wish ev
  4. Ok, where are we? Oh yeah, pictures and thoughts. Duh. For those of you digging the red heads and who also may like horses...here you go: I heard that they used to have a live show centered around the sword in the stone, and that somewhere there is a remote switch that unlocks the sword allowing it to come up a little. A CM would choose a kid out of the audience and let them try to pull it, and BAM, they would move it. Pretty cool for that kid. Anyone ever see that show when it was still around? We didn't spend a whole lot of time in Fantasyland on this visit since we would be back late
  5. Wow. That is fantastic service. I need to think of something else to ask for to see how far we can take this! But really, thanks for the info and research. My wife is happy to know that she isn't crazy and that we are not blind! You don't even know how long we wandered around up there looking for that bench! And yes, this is a GREAT message board!
  6. We just recently had to replace our windshield...so glad I did it before this trip! Thanks! 1. Yes, just based on prinicple I can't stand to spend money on something when I've already spent money somewhere else! When the furnace runs I can just feel the LP tanks pulling on my wallet! 2. The GC is a standard EZ-GO. The truck has a standard 6' bed. I do have to take the tailgate off or it would hit my LP tanks. When I do that, the rear wheels of the GC just barely make it on the truck bed. I make sure I strap it down very well and it doesn't budge. I also have to take the rear foot platfo
  7. Bummer! We saw your site and hoped to catch you as well, but never saw you outside. I liked your sign lined with the lights, and noticed that people seemd to be taking your FF.net cards! Either that or the racoons got them. We had a racoon visit one night, but it just tried to steal my GC and made a mess of things. You should have stopped by if you saw us! I may not like people, but Fiends are great!
  8. Goofy bench update: My wife read some more and found out that apparently it used to live in front of Tony's, but has been moved. Not sure when or why, so if anyone knows something, speak up!
  9. Thanks. Glad to have someone else on the lazy train today. Permission to board granted. That was dumb. I shouldn't have said that. The sad thing is that I could easily go back and delete that sentence and write something else. But I'm lazy. Thanks! Comment: Please explain for what exactly... Yeah, my truck isn't as manly as it could be when you look at all the pink in the back seat. But like you, I wouldn't change a thing! Thanks! I like to think so too!
  10. Ok, we're going to keep this TR moving right along. I have time to kill today, so we'll see how much we can get accomplished. Lots of pictures for this installment. Lots of pics from the MK. Hope you're not bored. If you are, stop reading. Then read something that interests you. Then you won't be bored. I'm a problem solver. We woke up waaaay early Sunday morning because DD2 (she'll actually turn 2 in 2 weeks) and DD3.5 don't sleep in. Probably because we have conditioned them to getting up super early because we leave the house by 6:15 every morning to drop them at the sitter's and get to
  11. Since this was our 4th trip to FW, I am an expert camper and an expert on The Fort and no longer have any lessons to learn... ... Riiiiight... Actually, I am lazy and don't feel like putting that much thought into being witty this time. So, you get pictures. And thoughts. Sometimes the thoughts will accompany the pictures. Other times, not so much. Here we go. We arrived on Saturday at 1:00 and planned to stay until Thursday. We had friends coming to stay with us with their almost 5 year old daughter on Monday for their first WDW trip ever, so that gave us two nights to ourselves before all t
  12. Got mine at Tractor Supply. Forget what kind, but they are the arched kind. The rear foot platform on my gc scraped the ground when loading, but I have to take it off anyway so that it clears my propane tanks so it doesn't really matter.
  13. My wife has also had dumb luck on Buzz. She followed up a 200k performance with a 1500...proving the dumb luck theory.
  14. Oh, and woo hoo, I made the 4th page... I suck.
  15. Not funny. Their one claim to fame...and one of our most embarrassing games!!!
  16. There is no doubt in my mind that anyone taking random pics of my girls will be in the market for a new camera. I'm not a violent person, but you don't mess with my girls. Not to mention that no strange man would ever be sitting next to them in the first place. Now I won't be able to go to sleep because that's got me all riled up!
  17. He's right. My first FW trip was December 2010 in a rental TT. I now own a 26' TT, a golf cart, and 3 APs.
  18. Love your resolutions. Can't wait for the TR on the first one...
  19. We have always fed our border collie and aussie mix Nutro or Natural Choice (same company). Border collie is 12 and while she's slowed down, she doesn't act 12 at all.
