  1. Congrats! We have been to Seaside several times and love it. It just has a great vibe that you don't find many places! Enjoyed seeing the pics from it. It's been too long since we were there last! On a sad note, I am somewhat disappointed that I have something in common with Holly. There must be some red and black in her somewhere...
  2. Ouch. Low blow. I'll stop commenting on the shirts now. I'm going to go concentrate on how many times UGA has beaten tech in football over the past decade. There are so many wins that I'm going to have to concentrate really hard to remember all of them. Regardless, I'm still enjoying the TR despite the annoying buzzing I keep hearing!
  3. Enjoying the TR. Enjoying the pictures. My wife cries as well when she sees the castle in all its glory. My wife cries every time our DD3.5 meets a princess (which is often if she has it her way). My wife cried the first time DD ever met Mickey when we were at Chef Mickey's. My wife is probably crying right now just because. I cry when I see your DH wearing that awful shirt. Next time I'm up in your neck of the woods I'll bring you some red and black.
  4. If only a certain webmaster (that may or may not rhyme with "mathy") could see us now... woo hoo
  5. We're in Covington...I guess that's about on the exact opposite side of the ATL than you are! I'm just thankful that we don't have to drive through the middle of downtown on our way to the Fort! Go Dawgs! Hopefully we can put it to Mich St on Monday!
  6. I only wish we could settle in it for the New Year. Instead it still sits at the dealer waiting to have the hole fixed that the corner of my garage gutter put in it... Not a good memory, but I learned to not only watch where the wheels are going as I pull it around the house, but also look where the top is going! I'll have to check out the Crossroads forum...never even thought to look for one. We still haven't seen hardly any other Crossroads around where we have been. In a way I kind of like that, but in another way it makes me a little worried! So far we love ours! Have a great New Year!
  7. And by "woo hoo" I mean "woo hoo that was a great TR," not "woo hoo it's over." More like "dammit, it's over." Now what am I to do? I can only hope there will be a TCD New Year's trip...
  8. We counted at least 5 turkeys on the 1800 loop while we were there. Hibity dibity. There, I just wanted to say that for myself. Thats a new one, and I'm definitely using it.
  9. Again, loving the pics. Especially the one of the castle in the distance.
  10. Well, I just enjoy seeing how the magic happens. Doesn't really ruin it for me. Interesting about the character stuff.
  11. There are always a ton of lessons to be learned at the Fort...especially for me!!! I love learning from other people's mistakes too!
  12. 6 years ago I took my band to Disney and we marched in the electrical parade (at that time still called Spectro Magic...dumb name by the way). The area just off to the right of your pic (by the white truck) is the staging area for the marching bands before the parade. That's where our bus parked and where we got dressed/warmed up/etc. From there we walked by some storage buildings for parade equipment and so forth and then a long road up to the beginning of the parade route. It was pretty cool seeing everything backstage before the parade actually started. They took us by all of the elect
  13. Great updates! I feel the need to get one of those shirts so I also have the official license to get lost. I mean, if the shirt says so, no one can say anything to you!
  14. I'm a high school teacher, and I can say that there are many parents that suck bad. It often explains why the kids are the way they are. Fortunately there are still good parents out there, as I'm sure all the parents on here are! I also saw the bride on the beach...taking pictures. My wife figured they were for portraits or something since Tuesday isn't a normal "wedding day."
  15. Didn't I see a lessons learned TR on here before? That's weird... ... Maybe I started a new trend! Either way I'm ready to read on and learn more myself! Can never be too many trip reports!
  16. Shows how much I know. Guess I didn't pay attention. I just remembered his pics.
