  1. It was VERY nice to meet you, too, Lou. (say that fast three times ). He straightened out a few mis-conceptions I had about driving a bus for Disney - and ALMOST made me want to Drive a Magic Bus too ... almost. We also had a quick meet with Bob (34787). We also had a nice visit with BuckeyeFortFan. We met his youngest and he got to meet Queen Lola. Lola; PureTCrazy; Runner; BuckeyeFortFan; his Youngest We tried to catch itch & family, but they had already hit the pool.
  2. Gives new meaning to "Phillie Cheese Steak" :rofl2: :rofl2:
  3. The DVC is buying out Fort Wilderness. Reservations already in the system will be honored, but all future reservations must be done using DVC Points. The cost of Fort Wilderness DVC Points is under review at this time, with pricing expected to be released shortly.
  4. Yak & Yeti is usually a walk-up for lunch - I've done that twice with Mom. In fact, we went there at 11:55 on Tuesday and were seated 3 minutes later ... Get the Fried Green Bean appetizer! You also want to order the Fried Wonton dessert!
  5. Monorail loop - hmmm. Kona for Lunch! That was easy. MK - The Plaza, hands down. AK - Flame Tree BBQ CS; Yak & Yeti TS - I've eaten there three times and never been disappointed by food or service. (Get the Fried Green Bean appetizer and the Fried Wontons for dessert!) EPCOT - Chef's de France TS; I like the Tangierine Cafe CS The Studios - Sci-fi Cafe TS; I don't eat CS here! The best Food Court at WDW for lunch or dinner ... Pop Century :rofl2:
  6. Dole Pineapple Float! FWIW, you can stack your own Whip at the Polynesian ... Beaver Tails - why the @#$% did they get rid of the Beaver Tails in Canada?
  7. Three trees came down yesterday, but didn't hit anything. One almost got the Trading Post ... I also heard of an awning that got mangled.
  8. A plane was flipped over at one of the nearby airports :rofl2: There was a tree downed there yesterday ...
  9. I also had to get a Military License - now I have a Class B with Air Brakes, Passengers & Haz Mat endorsements .... I get a good laugh watching some people try to back a trailer. I also think that a regular License should have a trailer endorsement - and have a special license to drive the Class A RVs that are as large as the Class B's I can drive.
  10. 5th Wheel Toy Hauler (renting from Donnie)
  11. We are here! PureTCrazy, The Momma, my Nephew and I are at THE Fort! 1724 ... and raining :argh:
  12. Somebody actually commented! Thanks, it was my pleasure (as well as duty). Funny how we never heard that during or after Vietnam. Once it hit the fan in Iraq, Afganistan and then Iraq again, I hear it all the time.
  13. 4 days weren't enough! We go down Monday 3/28 and Don't some back until Saturday 4/2. April Fool's Day at the Fort! :worship:
  14. PureTCrazy & I - along with "the Momma" - have decided we want to start camping again! :rofl2: Now comes the hard part. We like the floorplan of the Roo 21SSL (or the equivalent from a different company): However, these are all so new, that there don't appear to be any used ones on the market - which means the price is higher. (Not that used hybrids look to be much cheaper than the new ones ... ). If we are willing to select a floorplan without the added toy hauler section up front, we can go for a hybrid with a similar floorplan in the 19 - 21 foot range. That would mean putting a
  15. I have a ton from Christmas on my FaceBook account (Ed Russell if you're interested). Here's a couple:
  16. There's a great big beautiful tomorrow Shining at the end of every day ...
