  1. The ceiling "bump out" is a dormer. I have two on mine and they make it feel more roomy. Depending on the year/manufacturer the dormer walls can be canvas like a pop up or hard sided.
  2. TCD,I don't remember seeing this before, but we were married on the Sovereign.
  3. Not kicked up, from the original article the investigating agency was the Secret Service. The USSS investigates any crimes against the currency. From the USSS website
  4. Even when they allow you inside to check in I do believe they issue boarding group numbers based on your original PAT. As WBI stated, his PAT was 12;30 and he ended up in group 17 checking in at 10:47. Last month I had PAT 10:45 and checked in at just about that time and was in boarding group 6. So I do believe what I've been told, early PAT - lower boarding group #.
  5. They have to check in or their "benefits" wouldn't work. For it to work best they would want to drive through FW and get their windshield parking pass for the parks
  6. Sorry to hear about your troubles with your title. If I read this corectly, you have been issued a new clear title, but the online system still shows it "branded" in some way. I would first call/visit DMV and try to find out what their system actually says. If it is still branded "on line" with the DMV then continue on with my DMV advice. But, the problem may not be with PA DMV. There is an entity run by the US Department of Justice called the "National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS)". http://www.vehiclehistory.gov/index.html States report title issues to them to be aggre
  7. Check out Trailer Tires & Wheels in Ohio. http://www.trailertiresandwheels.com/15-5-lug-aluminum-trailer-wheels They have 5 bolt aluminum rims rated at over 2,000 pounds which I think is higher than 50 PSI. If a rim is available, they will know about it. I'm really surprised your fiver came with 5 lug 50 PSI rims. it's so sad a manufacturer would do that.
  8. He may have 15" rims. The Goodyear G-614 ONLY comes in 16". This is my problem, I have 15" rims and want the G-614 - so the question is how bad do I wan them. I figure $125 per rim plus, $5 per rim for a high pressure metal valve stem, plus $315 per tire plus, mounting/balancing. The pluses add up quickly.
  9. In the future if it works better you can always pick up your military tickets right at the Shades of Green Resort at Disney http://www.shadesofgreen.org/ Shades of Green started it's life as Disney's Golf Resort in 1973 and if I am correct has some of the largest "standard" rooms "on property". It's kind of unique as for some things it is considered a Disney resort (EMH, DME) but for others it is not (free parking at the parks).
  10. I'm confused.... They always know if you have checked in.
  11. Do you have your heart set on any level of site, Preferred, Premium or Full hook up? Or, I guess the actual question would be have you booked a level of site?
  12. Well, Actually when it comes down to it I have eight tires. We have the big camper (35' Coachmen) which has four plus a spare and for going out into the back country we picked up an Aliner which is another two plus spare. But, No matter what I do I don't think I'm going to be able to fit 16" tires under the Aliner. The other advantage of the G-614 is the speed rating. The Maxxis and all other ST tires have speed ratings in the 62-65 MPH range while the G-614 is rated at 75.
  13. As much as it may not seem to make a difference, this is correct and allows for more even utilization of the sites. With site specific reservations you end up with lots of 2-3-4 day openings in each sites "use schedule" as not being desirable to book. So Site 1 may have Sun-Mon not booked, Site 2 Tues-Wed-Thurs not booked and Site 3 Fri-Sat not booked. With non site specific reservations the bookings can be moved around and this "week" of unbooked nights becomes a week available on a single site, rather than being spread out over three sites. Multiply that by hundreds of sites and you end u
  14. See, now you got me thinking about tires again...... I really don't like the Chinese junk that came on my trailer, but to get what I want (the only US made trailer tire) I need to replace the rims and each new tire would be over $300.....
  15. The TPMS sensors just screw on the valve stems, no tools necessary. I do think it comes with a little wrench to install some sort of anti theft device, but I've never used it (if I actually got them, fuzzy memory). The Pro Pride is a lot of work and I don't know if I would loose Fort time for it. When you ordered it id you get Sean's cell phone number? If not I can send it to you to have while installing.
  16. Pretty truck! Doesn't the Ford tow package also come with the brake controller in the dash? Did you get that?
  17. It is my understanding there are two technologies in the band. There is a proximity chip which does not use a battery. This is used for close up reading like when you touch the pedestal to enter the park or fast pass. The battery is needed for long range scans, like the system figuring out which car you are in for the photo at Space Mountain. Keep them as they are always tied to your MDE account.
  18. You have two axles at 3,500 pounds each = 7,000 pounds Add to that the tongue weight of 500 pounds and you end up with your gross of 7,500 The TPMS sensors screw on the end of the valve stems. Metal high pressure valve stems are recommended (even without the TPMS). Are you using a torque wrench when checking the lug nuts? Without it you can't say for certainty they are good. I keep a torque wrench in each camper as well as a socket extension and socket for the lug nuts. http://www.harborfreight.com/1-2-half-inch-drive-click-type-torque-wrench-239.html
  19. A couple of things to add - The tire weight rating is only valid if the tire is inflated to the max pressure marked on the side. Less air pressure reduces the capacity of the tire due to flexing in the sidewall at lower pressures. So, fill the tires up to the max. While talking about tires, I consider myself a little over the top when it comes to towing and equipment. Before every trip I torque the lug nuts, check air pressure in all tires and generally make sure everything is working. This has served me well all the years we had the pop up. With the purchase of a 35' 6,000 pound (dry) t
  20. Nope, they generally cut the margin fairly thin. Add to the 7040 whatever your tongue weight is rated, say 500 pounds and you are at what they said, 7,500 pounds. Don't rush out and buy higher rated tires as I bet if you crawl under the camper and get the make/model of the axle itself it is probably only rated for 3,500 pounds or so. All the parts that make up the suspension have a weight rating and you are limited by the lowest number of any of them.
  21. Unless the stock market continues it's slide I'm afraid they can keep up what they are doing for a long time. The products they are offering are selling at the prices they are setting.. When you make the jump to Universal understand you are not going to save a tank of gas. Using Undercover Tourist pricing, 1 day one park tickets: Magic Kingdom $115Disney other parks $106Universal $108I admit I haven't been to Universal in a long time (I do love Margaritiville & Emeril's, but you don't need a ticket to get to them) but I did not find that their parks gave me more than a days entertainme
  22. I'm with Debbie about pushing on if you can- If you can push on another 90 minutes or so the Florida Welcome Center is a great place to stop. I have an F-250 with a 35' trailer and they have a great lot away form the traffic noise.
  23. I still love visiting WDW and camping at the Fort. But, as a recent retiree with a wife who is hopefully going to decide to retire soon I find we are at a different place in life. Am I never returning, no. Heck, before the non-expiring tickets went away I purchased 2 10 day tickets for each of us from Undercover Tourist. We will be returning! But, as has been pointed out here and other places the numbers don't add up at times. I know I posed here before (but can't find the thread, so I don't have the details at my fingertips) - we can fly to one of several islands in the Caribbean and s
  24. I don't understand the problem with a DVC. In my mind it's no different than a hotel.
