I like the idea somebody had about a quick serve with a porch on the lake side next to the Settlement trading post.
They could put the hammocks back up on the beach outside, display the mower from the lawnmower tree inside, bring back the wagon with the canvas fixed, put the RC wagon back in place across the way, replace the trash cans with ones that look like tree stumps, put a few benches that look like split logs out front, and sell oooey gooey cinnamon rolls each morning.
I look forward to that happening. #eyeroll

2 days until the hat needed to be down for the private event stage and there are no updates........
I'll go ahead and take that to mean that the crappy band will be playing in front of the half demoed crappy hat.

Okay for Shiggles I just listened to Jim Hill podcast on Star Wars Land.
He says they scrapped the first iteration that Imagineering mocked up because Bobby wants the land to be based on the new movies.
He then goes on to say the biggest elements his source saw on the new scale model are:
A giant sphere which will be a death star and centerpiece...
And a huge Endor area.
They are also supposedly wondering whether to use young Luke or old Luke in a meet and greet.
Um.....
Most of that was in the old movies.
So why exactly did they need to scrap anything from the first model?
He is funny to listen to because his pauses really make it sound like he is making **it up as he goes.

It will be tipped upside down and used as a beer bong for all of those who finish the marathon next January.

So I was listening to a podcast today, mostly as background noise and my ears perked up when they got around to talking about the BAH.
Here is the rumor,
The BAH would have shown up in the sight-lines above the top of the new Star Wars Land, so it needed to come down.
According to the same rumor, Echo Lake will meet the wrecking ball within 4-8 weeks. The lake will be drained and filled in, while Min and Bill's and Dinosaur Gertie's will meet their demise.
That is supposedly the first phase of demo and they will start foundational work for SW Land in that area as soon as demo is complete. The rumor goes on to say a decision is being made on LMA and it will be demoed in early 2016 if the decision is made. They then discussed the possibility of Muppetvision and/or Streets of America meeting Miley's wrecking ball, but that was their conjecture based on the rumor they heard.
This was from the WDW Today podcast and the info was being related by Len Testa of TouringPlans.com and the WDW Today podcast.

Its not Disney until they put up a birthday cake castle and take all the cool things away from the best on-site lodging location.

It amazes me, how people seem to have forgotten about that day.  How America has not closed her boarders, is beyond me...but I guess that's a conversation for a different post.
