  1. Okay, I take back my earlier statement, I saw a yeller fly in the 2000 loop. Smacked him good before he got me.
  2. Love bugs are gone. Yellow flies I haven't seen lately at the Fort. One thing to keep an eye out for are the Mega mosquitoes that are already in Seminole County. Expected to spread throughout central Florida. All I can say is lay in a supply of a DEET product. 20 times the size of a normal mosquito and biters, even through clothing. I chuckled when the articles in the news said they feel like a small bird landing on you....lol. There is a lot of standing water in the Fort now. Many sites are surrounded on 3 sides by water. Perfect for mosquitoes. Hopefully the Fort is spraying regula
  3. I saw a cart at the Fort that WAS a regular 4 seater, but they had it changed to the rear seat being converted to 2 long seats sideways across from each other, thereby allowing 4 in the back. Of course your knees would be about touching each other but you could make it work. Thought that was interesting.
  4. Most of the 300 loop. Sites are at a hard angle for most larger RVs to get into. Saw many an RV hitting posts, cable boxes etc. Just too tight for my liking.
  5. Site 101. Right next to the basketball hoop. bang bang bang all day and basketball bouncing into your site. No relief from the sun all day.
  6. You can tell where I've BEEN by the greeters....lol. Starting next Monday we will be visiting a lot as our daughter is coming in for two weeks in a preferred site. Will let you know where when we get assigned. You can also look for a greeter then too...lol.
  7. Stopped by but you were busy out having fun. Left you a FF card...lol
  8. We have been looking for Avenger stuff and there is a lot out there. We're going shopping! A lot of the stuff has several of the characters on them. We just need to decide on the greeter. So keep giving your favorites!
  9. The next theme we want to do for our pop ups is Avengers. There are different ones of course, so we'll have to choose one for the greeter. Jody likes Thor, I prefer Iron Man. There are others too. Who is your favorite Avenger?
  10. The pop ups are rated to hold 800 to 1000 pounds on each bunk end. That will usually do it, unless I find a really good pizza. :rofl2: They are a lot more comfortable than the early days. All the comforts for camping, AC, heat, cooking, fridge, you name it. One of ours even has heated mattresses...lol. I like them because it feels like camping but a whole lot more comfy. Oh and yes, there is a new special going now. Police, fire, active military and teachers all get a 10% discount on new reservations. Thanks to all those and their service to us.
  11. I know everyone would rather stay at the Fort before anywhere else. We are now making available rental of our pop ups at Theme World RV park. 10 minutes from Disney World. It can be a very inexpensive way to stay in the Disney area. We will set up and supply one of our pop ups that sleep up to 8 and save you money. We just want to make it more affordable for those wanting to enjoy Disney. Pop up rental AND site cost will start at $80 per night plus 7% tax. Check out our off-site rental page on our website. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
  12. Just got back. It's busy. Long lines. Took some pics which I will get on later.
  13. Gonna go here tonight for the first time. Looking forward to it. Compliments of a happy camper.
  14. It wasn't as bad where we are but I guess it came down pretty heavy at the Fort. Somebody had 2 large tents and the water collected and collapsed on the renters. They got out OK.
  15. The re-vamped Test track now includes rush hour traffic!
