  1. I stopped by but didn't see anybody outside at your's or Ed's place. Maybe next time.
  2. ...and it's just fine to have 8, yes, count em, 8 people on a 4 person cart.
  3. Yesterday, the front office said they were really full last night. They had 450 sites reserved. Ummm, don't they have like 783 sites? I wouldn't consider that full. In fact, most businesses would be panicking at little over 50% occupancy. I know 2 people that were able to get last minute reservations this weekend. Must be some messed up system.
  4. Friday night the 20th and Loop 2000 still had several empty sites tonight. Wonder what that means?
  5. One of our regular campers went online today and found a 3 night stay this weekend at the Fort! Must be all those cancellations opening up. Amazing!
  6. They were doing the whole water thing two weeks ago in the 2000 loop then too. Hope it's fixed!
  7. Wow! Somebody has the nerve to charge MORE than the Disney store?
  8. We have considered Reflectix but our air conditioners all work pretty well even in direct sunlight. With the nature and time constraints we have with setting them up we have opted not to use them for now. If you have time to put them on it sure could help with the air use.
  9. I'm afraid it doesn't keep it from coming back, just cleans it. If you don't have any stains on the inside, why bother?
  10. Oh, and with the vinyl canvas, I never use a seam sealer. Has never been a problem. I saw a pop up that they sprayed a sealer on it and it left a wide discoloration where they sprayed it. Definitely took major value off the camper. Don't know what kind it was but the old saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it might apply.
  11. On the vinyl part, use Simple green with a brush, it get's in the fabric better. For the inside or canvas parts, use Lysol mold and mildew cleaner. Rinse it off after you use it. Some people just pressure wash it but it usually doesn't get it all off. We get a lot of the black on the outside just sitting up at the Fort. It's not just from closing it wet.
  12. A long time ago we had a monstrous pop up, a 1977 JayCardinal. Tandem axle and 15' box. Loved that thing!
  13. I have several different brands of pups and I have had pretty good luck with Jaycos.
  14. In my pop ups, a small space heater can take it from that freak cold in Florida of 30 degrees at night to a balmy 70 in about 10 minutes. I wouldn't even bother with a heat strip. A heat strip is not designed to warm your camper, just take the dampness out.
  15. We have a few on our website under off-site rentals tab. Just click the web address at the bottom.
  16. BTW, most of the people have dogs of all sizes. There is also a huge dog run. So they are most definitely dog friendly.
  17. Theme World is a mostly snow bird RV park. We stay year round. It's a nice park and only 15 minutes to Disney, straight up I 4. It is very active in winters with food days and games and all kinds of special events. Price is reasonable but depends on when you start. It drops in May if you stay longer. Nice pool too! If you have any specific questions, just ask.
  18. Let's hope they do something about the Speedway cars. You couldn't keep those things straight if your life depended on it.
