Holy cow! The return of TCD AND DIT... It's good to be a fiend.
TCD - glad to hear all is well with you and your fam. Also glad to see your content on here again. -
Whoa, I got a little confused on this thread. I started at the top and saw the first reply was from Stef....had me WAY confused. Then i looked at the dates
Great looking site, and also pretty cool to revive your old thread with new pictures.

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere else, I didn't see it and wanted to share:

Okay... wasn't the same part (of course). Local Ford dealer charged up $95 to simply read the error code (can't tell you have mad that makes me) and the truck needs another repair (don't remember the part), also part of the who EGR things. Cost is in the $900s. So... we paid $1100 (plus rental car) in FL, $95 to have the stinkin' error code read and now another $900+ is needed for this repair. The regen mode has not worked properly on this truck since we bought it, so Tom is concerned that the filter is next and that is a $2800 repair!
He's decided to rip it all out...which really stinks as the money we've spent thus far, is simply thrown at the window. I am exhausted from the frustration/expense of all of this...
I would double check to make sure that EGR stuff isnt covered under some sort of emissions warranty....just to be sure.
In the long run I plan on "deleting" my emissions stuff on the exhaust as well, but never seem to have the spare $$$ to do that :) -
I wonder if Disney will increase the amount of tickets they sell and allow more people in? Maybe keep adding bodies until people start to complain and then they will know about how many tickets to sell.

Awesome, thanks for the info, Carol! Not sure if we can make it that far on the first day of driving, but we are gonna try.
Hope you have a good trip over in SC.

We are thinking about using this as an overnight on our way home from the Fort in October. Did you see any issues with larger rv's there?
-
I think we have enough bed area for 10 or 11 bodies, but no way in hades would I attempt that. The most we have had is 4 "adults" and 3 kids and that was PLENTY cramped for us.

I need to double check my records but I had mine changed and don't think it was anywhere near that expensive. It's also a fairly easy job to do yourself since this cooler is MUCH easier to get to.

I have 2 that stick out and both were given to me during our trip in 2014.
1. I was lucky enough to get spiked by a bus driver and that was pretty cool.
2. The other is a ring one of the boat captains gave my oldest daughter. It was on the first day and the first boat ride during our fist family visit to Disney and the boat captain called my daughter up. He gave a story that Cinderella saw her get on the boat and asked him to give her this ring. She still talks about that ring the Cinderella gave her and happy she is when she wears it.- Ivy and BradyBzLyn...Mo

are there no fire escapes in your bunk house? We have once in the bunk house that is on the lowest bunk so the fall would not be that bad....that's assuming you need to get out that window. Our slide has one in the same spot yours is in but it is the entire window, I feel a little better with a larger opening trying to swing myself out if needed. The one I don't want to do is the one from the front bedroom as it is higher than I'd like to tumble, but in emergency you do what you have to do.
Thanks for posting these, it's a good reminder to folks that this is something that needs to be practiced. I must admit, we have only practiced once in this new 5er and we have had it over 2 years now.

I don't remember riding growing up, I'm sure I did at some point though. I just went on it for the first time that I remember on our Christmas trip. It was about 2 am and there was hardly any wait. I can see the sentimental side just can't believe the wait times it gets.

I feel the same way about it. We happened to catch it during a Halloween Party last year with a "short" line so we rode it. It isn't something we would use FP on for sure.

EasyWDW has done a little bit of the breakdown of time and price on this. I can't do the fancy quote like Mo, but here is a link: Clicky

I see they have come up with another clever way to separate some of my dollars from my bank account. Well done, Disney.

First off....WELCOME!
What class of site do you have booked? Since you mentioned 800 loop is it safe to assume premium site? -
I for one an happy about this. Hopefully when we are there in October we can catch them.

I know this thread is old but since Dollywood was mentioned I wanted to post this update. According to a local news article Dollywood began bag checks on 3/21/206

My wife is so conflicted. We have a wedding to attend in PA on October 14. But want to spend a couple of weeks in Orlando in October. And I'm already driving back and forth a few times this summer.
She's been lobbying me to drive south and then fly back for the wedding.
Do it

I call BS on the drone thing. Some "drones" are more than capable of carrying equipment to take those pics, but flying POV would be hard to get into some of those places.

There is some strange guy who does nothing but videos on YouTube of closed places, but I can't remember his name. But they are more of Blair witch style than beautiful pics like this.
I believe you are speaking of Adam the Woo

Still working on this one. We will be at The Fort a few weeks later, just not sure if we can do both trips so close.

Have you looked at Topsial Hill State Park? Kelly has a couple TR's from there and it looks very nice.
