Okay... wasn't the same part (of course).  Local Ford dealer charged up $95 to simply read the error code (can't tell you have mad that makes me) and the truck needs another repair (don't remember the part), also part of the who EGR things.  Cost is in the $900s.   So... we paid $1100 (plus rental car) in FL, $95 to have the stinkin' error code read and now another $900+ is needed for this repair.  The regen mode has not worked properly on this truck since we bought it, so Tom is concerned that the filter is next and that is a $2800 repair!

He's decided to rip it all out...which really stinks as the money we've spent thus far, is simply thrown at the window.  I am exhausted from the frustration/expense of all of this...

I would double check to make sure that EGR stuff isnt covered under some sort of emissions warranty....just to be sure.
In the long run I plan on "deleting" my emissions stuff on the exhaust as well, but never seem to have the spare $$$ to do that :)

  2. I have 2 that stick out and both were given to me during our trip in 2014.
    1. I was lucky enough to get spiked by a bus driver and that was pretty cool.
    2. The other is a ring one of the boat captains gave my oldest daughter. It was on the first day and the first boat ride during our fist family visit to Disney and the boat captain called my daughter up. He gave a story that Cinderella saw her get on the boat and asked him to give her this ring. She still talks about that ring the Cinderella gave her and happy she is when she wears it.

  3. are there no fire escapes in your bunk house? We have once in the bunk house that is on the lowest bunk so the fall would not be that bad....that's assuming you need to get out that window. Our slide has one in the same spot yours is in but it is the entire window, I feel a little better with a larger opening trying to swing myself out if needed. The one I don't want to do is the one from the front bedroom as it is higher than I'd like to tumble, but in emergency you do what you have to do.

Thanks for posting these, it's a good reminder to folks that this is something that needs to be practiced. I must admit, we have only practiced once in this new 5er and we have had it over 2 years now.

I don't remember riding growing up, I'm sure I did at some point though. I just went on it for the first time that I remember on our Christmas trip. It was about 2 am and there was hardly any wait. I can see the sentimental side just can't believe the wait times it gets.

I feel the same way about it. We happened to catch it during a Halloween Party last year with a "short" line so we rode it. It isn't something we would use FP on for sure.
