  1. Could you imagine the look on the princesses face when you asked her to take a picture of you with Dave? :rofl2: :rofl2:
  2. I'm in! Looks like you had a somewhat bumpy start but it appears to be getting better :)
  3. Great pics! I will officially jump in here on the official start to the TR
  4. They do it up big for both. However I prefer the 4th of July midnight parade.
  5. We got in about 25 - 30 nights this season, and that is about average for us. We just got in late yesterday afternoon from what is likely our last trip of the year. I don't winterize with the pink stuff so if a random trip pops up it's no big deal to go back out again. Next year will be a change for us as we have a week at Fort Wilderness booked in May, and a beach trip in September. That will eat up most of my vacation time and will drastically limit our long weekend trips that we take about once a month now.
  6. Thank you for this! I was actually looking for something like this yesterday while trying to plan our route for May 2014.
  7. In, and made page 1, even if it is from 2010 :jumpforjoy :jumpforjoy
  8. I didn't think so. Then again I'm not real picky about food so YMMV.
  9. Ok, here is the recipe for the picture I listed above: 1 bag 26 oz. frozen hash browns 12 eggs 1 cup milk 1 tablespoon ground mustard 1 16 oz. roll sausage maple, sage or regular sausage. Salt and pepper 16 oz. bag shredded cheddar cheese Directions: Spray crock pot and evenly spread hash browns at the bottom. Crack 12 eggs in a large bowl, mix well (and slowly) using a whisk. Add the milk. Go ahead and sprinkle in the ground mustard. Add plenty of salt and lots of fresh pepper. Mix well and set aside. Cook the sausage on high heat, drain and set aside. Add sausage on top of hash browns. Is
  10. Someone we camped with earlier this year made one: It was tasty, and easy. It was a little more "done" around the edges but that didn't stop anyone from eating it. And sorry, Gwen, it does include hash browns. I will see if they will send me the recipe and will post it up.
  11. Thanks for the info all, I think at this point I just need to get back with Jason and let him know to make it happen. Well, I will wait until he is back from his maiden voyage with Maria. I don't want to drag him down with work when he could be thinking about camping :)
  12. Ok, so wifey and I have been planning for the last few months to do a Fort trip with several friends in September of 2015. Well, after me reading about it daily here, and talking wither her about everything I read, we have decided we need to do one next year. Right now we are looking at going 5/3/14 - 5/10/14 and I'm wondering if anyone can give me any pros or cons about that time of year. We will have DD1 that will be almost 3 years old and DD2 that will be 13 months old at that time. I'm thinking of doing a full hookup site preferably in the 1700 loop and right now that is about all the plan
  13. I'm in! I love me a good trip report :) You know, if these are RFID chips you'd think they (Disney) could program that info on them, and a CM would be able to pull it off with a scanner if needed.
  14. I think at this point after seeing all of the pictures you and other post of the different places to see at the Fort I run the risk of being disappointed when we get down there in a couple summers. I will be wondering around looking for all the things I see here and be bummed when I can't find\see them. Hey wait, now that the twins are out and on their own you should start a Fort tours business. People can schedule you for a day or two to show them around the Fort... I think I'm on to something here.
  15. At the risk of sounding like Larry..... If you are running ST tires they are rated to 65MPH max, so speed can be an issue with them. I believe Goodyear claims you can over inflate their Marathon tire by 10PSI and it will increase the max rated speed on the tire but I don't know if that is the same for all MFG's. I studied tires long and hard before upgrading the tires on our 5er and ended up moving from a 15" ST load range D to a 16" LT load range E so I gained some capacity, and have an LT tire that I could pick up a matching tire if needed at almost any tire store.
  16. It's called "The Inlet at New Smyrna" original, huh? It's one of the older condo's at the north end of NSB and it kinda shows since they have built newer, nicer ones around it. The last time I was there was in 2010 and it just wasn't the same with all the shiny new ones around....
  17. Great TR! I love that lighthouse, been up and down those stairs more times that I could count. I spent at least 2 weeks of each summer staying right here for many years: ***Purple crayon a trademark of TCD
  18. This gets my vote for worst water slide ever!! Sorry, carry on O0
