  1. Here are my pictures from that campground in November 2007,
  2. Unfortunately that's all the pics!! :-) That SUNSHINE was awesome!! I think that helped as much as the relaxation considering I had spent most of the last two months in Virginia which is more dreary than home. I would LOVE to see Davy Jones too!!!
  3. That's inside the shops in Adventureland behind the Magic Carpet ride.
  4. At that time of night after that long drive, it doesn't take much to "stump" me :-)
  5. Doooooooon't plant those seeds!!! Sweetgum trees are the nastiest things on this earth!! We had THREE of those dang things in our yard and paid big money to get rid of them!!! Two years later, STILL finding a few prickly balls in the landscaping here and there.
  6. Look what I found!!! I found the pics from this most memorable grand gathering at the Fort!!
  7. I have to tell you- after the wedding of AT&T and T-Mobile, there will be no reception. LOL
  8. Yes, the Fort has limited AAA discounts. To get room only AAA discount, then you need to book directly through Disney (or use Rhonda!!) [email protected] and see if there is a AAA discount available for your dates. If you want a AAA package with tickets and maybe dining, then you need to book through the AAA office of your choosing. Ask the person you are renting the camper from. See if they prefer premiums for their unit, or if they don't mind backing into a full hookup.
  9. I just got a new phone the other day that can be a wireless hotspot!! It is so cool. No extra charges, and now both Rick and I can bring the netbooks camping, turn on the phone wifi and we can be surfing!!! I LOVE T-MOBILE!! If AT&T messes us up, I will SCREAM!!!!
  10. Site 349, Preferred Pet, Water, Electric, Sewer, Cable, sortof across from a comfort station, but down a "mulch" path, not concrete.
  11. Monday was another lazy day. However, I did have another mission. I read on Facebook that Deb Wills (webmaster of AllEars.net) was having a meet and greet over at the Contemporary at 10:15, so I boated over there and met with her and saw some other old friends and gave out a few Fiends cards :-) Then I was back on the picture mission, then relaxing time back at the camper. (Rick had breakfast at Trails End, did laundry, and took a nap.) We wandered around the horse stables: We took the boat to Magic Kingdom Rode the Haunted Mansion, but just missed the new interactive queue area
  12. We were supposed to head home this morning, but I was just NOT ready, so I went to the front desk and was able to extend for two more days!!!!! So the laziness continued. Once again breakfast at Trails End, then back to napping and relaxing. I took Rick's ECV around the loops and continued the picture mission. We got dinner reservations at Cape May, so bussed over to Studios, and took the walkway to Beach Club, and filled up on Clams, Mussels, Crab Legs, and other goodies, then bus to Magic Kingdom, and boat to the Fort. That's when we discovered that one of the large cruisers in in rehab, c
  13. The next day was also really lazy. No pictures, cause I killed my camera battery on a mission for the Fiends, but we hung around, went to Wal-Mart, then Lorna (Lornaduck) and Rich came by to pick up the golf cart, and we hung with them, and with Total Joker and Ms. Joker. We all went to dinner together at 50's Prime Time. (I believe Total Joker has that picture on his trip report.) I shamelessly stole his pictures We then went back to the camper, drank and enjoyed each other's company.
  14. OK continuing on, we saw Chubby Checker that evening: And went to American Adventure
  15. After Downtown Disney, we went back to Epcot and wandered the Flowers some more: Watched an episode of King Arthur and the Holy Grail, Rubbish!!!
  16. On Friday, rinse and repeat, except after being lazy at the campground, this time, we went to Downtown Disney for a bit and rode Characters in Flight
  17. On Thursday, was more laziness, we stayed around the campground most of the day, had breakfast at Trails End (about 11am), tooled around on the golf cart, then left for Wide World of Sports and a Braves Game:
  18. Howdy folks. As usual, I don't give a blow by blow of my trips, but I do have a few pictures to post of some of the things we did. We arrived on a Tuesday evening really late and was given site 349. (FYI, we booked premium, but this was a partial pet). We discussed the situation with the cast member upon arrival, but there was nothing else available, so we requested the option to be moved in the morning, and decided to wait and see what the site was like. We pushed the camper into place, plugged in the electric and went to bed. Wednesday morning, we surveyed our surroundings and decided to s
  19. I "had" one of the Fort Wilderness ones, but it got stolen cause it couldn't lock!!! Won't ever put a non locking one on again.
