  1. I believe you can if you have a local AAA office. However, I have found the best ticket prices to be through www.undercovertourist.com also go to www.mousesavers.com and sign up for their newsletter. On the 15th of each month you will get a link to even better prices at Undercover Tourist
  2. Unfortunately, since we usually eat breakfast at Trails End about 11:00, we rarely have lunch :D
  3. Kahlua and Half -n- Half with Splash of Amaretto over ice :-) Diet Mt. Dew
  4. I really don't care if they have cable or not, just need to know ahead of time so I know whether to bring the air antenna or not.
  5. Well, I do have to winterized, but it involves just running 1 gallon of the pink stuff through my kitchen sink. I usually have to winterize in November, then undo it in December for a Fort trip, then rewinterize, then unwinterize for a January trip somewhere, then rewinterize, then unwinterize for a February trip, then rewinterize, then unwinterize for a March trip. :rofl2:
  6. Really?? Didn't know that, so first come, first served?? Have to show up on Monday to get a site for the weekend?? Or does it fill up for the summer with long termers??
  7. Not too thrilled with the band over 4th of July :-( Would prefer the Eagles sound a like
  8. Sounds like fun!!! It looks like ya'll moved in the day after we moved out. We were in 349 up until Tuesday!!
  9. Except at the Outpost going to Epcot!! More than 50% of the time, the Epcot bus from the Fort is an RTS bus. I know you've said it's totally random, but we ride the Epcot bus from the Fort ALOT and we get a ALOT of RTS buses.
  10. I've done it out in California, but have been kinda boycotting the FL studio since they took the animators away. Maybe I should check it out.
  11. Somebody actually commented! :rofl2: Thanks, it was my pleasure (as well as duty). Funny how we never heard that during or after Vietnam. Once it hit the fan in Iraq, Afganistan and then Iraq again, I hear it all the time. Fortunately most folks learn from their mistakes, I hope this country NEVER repeats how horribly we treated the Vets from Vietnam!!
  12. Yep, definitely need reservations during the "water park" season, but in the off season easy to get into. They also have an ice skating rink and a golf course right there.
  13. Joe Wheeler Lake :-) Actually, it was just OK. Lake access from the campsites is not what appears to be on the site map and there is a skunk and raccoon problem.
  14. EXACTLY!!! Staying at the Fort is not cheap!! But boy is it RELAXING!!! Even at the Fort, we do use the buses to get to the parks, but we go to the parks very little nowadays. When we stay at the hotels, we are "out" a lot more, and it's not near as relaxing for me. The Fort is a Resort and a place to hang out, the other hotels are just a place to sleep and shower.
  15. Thanks!! Most of the recent ones are pretty old. Just catching up on fixing everything I had when I had to change my Photobucket account to break all the links "over there"
  16. Here are a couple of stops when our Scout Troop went Cycling from Atlanta, GA - to Wheeler, AL, March, 2008 The Rock Campground Group Camping Piedmont Recreation Area
  17. Jan 2011, Site 8 http://www.baybreezerv.com/index.html Took the Dauphin Island Ferry on the way home
