  1. We have the 10"under cabinet TV/DVD player inside and AM/FM/XM/CD player with inside and outside speakers. We also bring a 19" flatscreeen along with a cable splitter to watch outside. We have netbooks and tethering on the droid for online access. Kahlua, Amaretto, and other friends usually join us for the ride and at the Fort there are always Fiends around!
  2. We wandered by there yesterday and yes there are pony rides. One tidbit, both the kid and the adult "leader" have to be wearing closed toe shoes.
  3. It looks like the Settlement Trading Post is getting roof work
  4. Well one of the large cruisers is under rehab again, so Fort boat service is once again one large cruiser and one small launch to the MK. Also, the small launches to WL and the Contemporary now run in opposite directions all day long. So you can now get a direct ride to WL or the Contemporary just by asking where they are going, and waiting on the next one if it is going the wrong way.
  5. We arrived really late last nite and proceeded to just plug in electric just so we could go to bed. Plug into the stump and no power. Was about ready to call and happened to look back and found another electric box a few feet back. This may have been there for years or may be new, but the "stumps" in 300 have no power.
  6. We're leaving the lamp post home this trip. The large globe got a hole in it last trip and I never got a "round tuit" to make a new top for it. Plus I think I want a different kind this time. I really like the globe fitter that Jen has. Just have to remind myself to get the exact part numbers, etc. when I finally have time to rebuild it. As much as I love Snarky purple, my camper theme is still Blue!!!!!
  7. Yes, folks Daylight Savings Time starts at 2am on Sunday morning!!!, So set those clocks forward an hour!!!!!!

  10. Europeans have the right idea!! http://www.busyoutdoors.com/powrtouch-compact-mover/p712 I REALLY want one of these, even with my little camper, cause I CAN'T move mine by hand by myself on even a slight slope.
  11. Next week is Spring Break. There are individual nights available, but at different levels. Wednesday night was totally booked though, so that is your dead end. I played havoc two weeks ago getting availability for next week, but finally got it. Keep trying online. Maybe booking each night individually until you get it may work.
  12. As I said before, the biggest key to keeping your tent from gathering water on the inside is setting it up correctly. Even though most tents today are self supporting they still need all the stakes and guy wires to be used and stretched out for water to drain off properly. Sagging water collects and will eventually drip. Also at night, keep a window cracked no matter how cold. People create lots of moisture just by breathing. During the day, open that tent up as wide as possible and run fans to help dry out the interior. Don't touch wet walls from the inside or outside if possible.
  13. Here's what I do. First off set up the tent in the yard when you know your going to have a couple/three of days of warm sunshine. Set it up completely with every point staked out and every guy wire staked out (No sags). Get a water hose and very lightly mist the tent with water and let dry in the sun. (This will actually shrink the sewing holes and tighten up the "weave" of the fabric. Then get some seam sealer (It comes in a roller ball applicator (like a bingo dauber). Liberally apply that to all the seams inside and out. Let dry. Then liberally spray all of the surfaces on the outside of t
  14. Grilled and juicy with mayo, ketchup, tomato, pickles and cheese!!!! (I also love swiss mushroom burgers!!!!)
  15. I put plastic drawers in my "closet" and put some small plastic drawers in my kitchen cabinet. I put a plastic utensil tray in the bottom of the cabinet under the sink. It serves two purposes, it holds kitchen utensils and it also catches any small drips that might occur under the sink before it can damage the inside of the camper. I have also gotten rid of the folding table and made my bed permanent and put plastic drawers under the bed.
  16. The easiest thing to do is just contact [email protected] She will send you a form where you can transfer the reservations to her agency, then she will take care of the discounts and will take care of adding the dining plan if you wish. Easy, no worry, no fuss, no more stupid phone calls.
  17. Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground Settlement Trading Post, Loop 900/1000 bus stop ? roofing work.
  18. There is no set time. AP rates are released if they need to fill rooms/sites. Yes, AP holders can PURCHASE the dining plan with ANY type of room only(or campsite) reservation without purchasing tickets.
  19. That's the ultimate of creativity, make money off of a big mud hole!! :-) (I'm just guessing, do they charge to use the place??)
