Well, I just found some combinations of dates that will get me AP discount for Halloween for 6 of my 9 nights!!! WOOHOO!! Saved me about 80 bucks!!
I will have 4 separate reservations, but will of course link them, so I don't have to move!!

You know, this may be against everyone else opinion, but I really don't care if the locals come in for ToT. I'm gonna buy x amount of candy and give it out and have a good time!!!! The only concerns I have is the security aspect, and since I will be at my site, my stuff will be under my watchful eye.

Yes, I agree Fort amenities such as the pool, should be for Fort guests only. The trick or treating should be for Fort guests only, but really, all the Fort management can do is control the parking lot, and the last couple of years, they have made an attempt. We can just hope they continue this year.
The world is not a perfect place and neither is Disney.
Let's just enjoy the holiday and enjoy all the Fiend festivities!!!!!!!!

As for Rick's surgery, if there is anything I can do to help out let me know. I don't know where exactly you liive in Madison, but I live just off of Sam Thomas Rd in Harvest so, really close to the Madison line. Does he need a ride to the surgeon? Is it an outpatient type thing? If you are in Virginia when he has to have it and need my help just send me a message.

In a thread a while back I mentioned that there were a couple of posters honoring the military at the main WDW transportation center located at TTC. This is the main location for all the transportation services at WDW.
Bus, monorail, & watercraft operations are all handled out of this location. If you're facing the ticket booths at TTC, it's the building on the far left. It doesn't look like much but there is a lot going on inside there.
When I wrote about the military posters, Ed asked to see photos, but I kept forgetting my camera. Well, I finally got my act together today and took this photo.

I thought the greatest campground bathroom deserved a post of it's own. The shower has a couple jets coming out by the faucet in addition to the overhead shower head which give an experience that is hard to describe. That is real marble on the walls, too, folks. They pipe in classical music and the place smells like Polo.

There have been folks that registered under our Grand Gathering group reservations, and never came to a single thing. It's pretty common. They put their "ears" out back then and may have said hello, but they mainly reserved with the group to get the discount. For many, a Disney trip is a once in a great moon thing, and they go, go, go to the parks, and leave little time for just hangin with the group.
However, for some of us that go often, it's "really" hard for us to get out of our lawn chairs and go "do" things. In other words, don't sweat the small stuff!!!!!

OK, have time for another installment. OOOOOH, this is soooo cool. I just got back to my office and my dual wide ratio monitors were waitin on me!!! Photobucket on one monitor and Fort Fiends on the other, pickin pics is EASY!!!!!!

As I said, the tour we booked was the See and Sea. It is a semi sub, similar to the Disney Subs, where you sit on little chairs and can see out the window. There is also a bus tour portion. What we didn't realize is you first board a regular boat and you get a narrated tour of the harbor as it takes you out to the semi sub.
Here are some of the pics on the regular boat. Some of the famous homes mentioned were Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, The Jackson Estate, Tom Cruise.

We then met up with the semi sub and transferred over there.

This should be the cry your damned eyes out thread. I remember the first time I clicked on Daves link for the first child they were trying to adopt and thought, oh that's cool Dave is adopting a special needs child and didn't think much more of it. Then when they were denied that child and seeing the disappointment his family endured, it was like I went through it too. I was worried with Anna they'd get the same result and every time Dave would post on facebook or the boards I was hoping he wasn't going to say we didn't get her or another delay. That last trip to Russia had me on edge every day that something was going to happen even after they took her from the orphanage.
Since everybody else kinda spilled their guts and is being softies I might as well admit I went to the SMGG to enjoy fiends and share good times but had Anna not been there I might have backed out. I mean I had to see Bob for Pete's sake all weekend and drink those teribble toasted almonds Carol made me.
OK back to being the snarky attacking mean people we've been accused of being. Thanks for sharing Anna with us Dave. Your family wins the 2011 feel good about being a fiend award.
