  1. Same thing happened to us when we saw World of Color in April. We fight the crowds, get a decent spot, anticipate the start of the show and watch it die. Then after waiting a while, it restarts and finished. It was a decent show but VERY complicated technically. I can see reliability is an issue. Give me Happily Ever After or Illuminations (or its successors).
  2. We're going in September. We usually stay at Big Meadows but am trying Little Arrow this time. Please let us know how you like Little Arrow. Big Meadows cancellation policy was changed to no refund of your deposit, so I booked Little Arrow. Figured I'd try it. The KOA there looks nice too.
  3. Makes me wonder if Disney is planting some rumors among some people suspected of leaking inside info in an attempt to find the leakers.
  4. I’d like to see Paint the Night come to Florida for the 50th.
  5. This is true. When we were there a couple of weeks ago, everything was set up on the “new” beach. Actually looked very nice.
  6. My daughter turned 31 today and I am so glad she was able to see River Country a couple of times. She loves the other water parks but River Country will always be a special place.
  7. I saw this and think it will be a nice addition. I am wondering if there will be a smaller fast food venue built as well.
  8. It really does work well and you can adjust your position if something is blocking your view. There aren't too many people out there so it is nice. You don't get a direct view of the castle, but there are so many fireworks around it doesn't matter. Plus you get a great view of the ones being launched in the water.
  9. We always go and stand near the dock for the Fort and Wilderness Lodge boats. You get a great view and can escape quickly.
  10. I find the new one difficult to follow since the destinations are not presented in a logical order. I also wish there were more US locations besides Monument Valley, but that is beautiful. I do like the projection quality though.
  11. It returned for the month of June. My daughter lives in Vista and was going to stop and see it. Her and her husband went to Galaxy's Edge and didn't have the time, but she is hoping to this weekend.
  12. Given that Country Bear was removed from Disneyland 18 years ago and also that Magic Kingdom’s Country Bear is rarely half full this wouldn’t surprise me. I’d hate to see it happen though. I always enjoy stopping in.
  13. This is like the Maxpass at Disneyland. You have to be in the park to make a fast pass, or just use the paper fast pass.
  14. Given the fact that Reflections will be half DVC and half normal resort, I wonder if there will be a move to remove more cabins and create additional full hookup loops like 2100. More available loops may make more categories make more sense.
  15. It just returned in California Adventure for a limited time.
  16. Sunday we were at the Fort to have lunch with friends at Trails End. We got there around 11:15 and found one open parking spot outside of the main overflow area. Then someone was trying to pull into the overflow area which had people parked all over the place. Their camper clipped another camper and the blocked the side exit right after checkout time. The backup stretched down towards the Settlement and no busses could get in or out. Security opened the side entrance gate and directed traffic so people could exit through the entrance and also let busses back in. The point is, they need to cont
  17. I saw that article and wondered what was new. Over the years, more often than not, the restrictions were in place. Hopefully they are deciding to enforce the rules more. We were camping a couple of weeks ago and noticed how quiet the Fort was. Maybe it is having an impact.
  18. This is correct. We’ve made some 2020 reservations by calling.
  19. When we were leaving yesterday the paving equipment was heading down the road towards the 700 loop.
  20. The 700 loop is now empty. Lots of paint marking areas to be addressed.
  21. We checked in on Wednesday with reservations for a preferred loop. We were upgraded to Premium because the 200 loop was closed for repaving. It reopened yesterday. We walked over and it was completely repaved, including the removal of the old asphalt. Looks really good.
  22. My daughter and son in law recently purchased Disneyland annual passes. They almost choked on the prices, but all of the prices in CA seem high.
  23. I’m here now. Mickey’s Backyard BBQ is now a pile of rubble.
