  1. I'm awarding you the "TCDMOG Award of the Decade" award. Where do you want the award ceremony held?

  2. Agreed across the boards! Sounds like Izzy, Gwen, TJ and I need to hang together and have our own personal CRABFEST.... the delicious kind.

  4. You do realize that Disney isn't listening to me? I did hear that they were planning on doing that. You must have an inside source. Where do I get some? No hate, just pragmatism. I like the monorail for what they should be, a cool ride around WDW. You are one funny guy FWG. How about hearing this. Daddy, daddy, why aren't we moving? And also, daddy why does it smell like a horse in here. The fewer crumb crunchers on the buses the better we like it.

  5. All Aboard! Where's The Buffet?? (cont) Ok, when we last left off, we had just boarded the beautiful, ginormous Disney Dream. As beautiful and impressive the ship is driving up to it, it is just as beautiful and impressive inside. They did a very nice job with these ships IMO...classical elegance I would call it. When you board, the CM's direct you to head up to deck 11 to enjoy some lunch at Cabanas. You cannot access your staterooms until at least 1:30, and while you could wander around areas of the ship we followed their direction and took an elevator up to 11. But we didn't eat right

  6. I think guests need to be at least 16 to take this tour....possibly for the reasons you stated about spoiling the magic.

  7. I don't know where you get your information, Lou, but my sources tell me that Disney is breaking ground in the spring on a monorail extension to the WL and the Fort Settlement area. Only the monorails will be decorated to look like old stagecoaches. If stagecoaches were suspended on concrete beams 40 feet in the air. And connected end to end. It will be quite authentic. Just like the Old West.

  8. Agreed! I love the lights. But, the day time atmosphere of the NY street is wrecked when all the lights are installed. TCD

  9. Are you insane? Why would you rent a paddleboat? Have you ever paddled a paddleboat? It is not something a sane person would pay money to do. Especially not at Castaway Cay. They have a little roped off area for the rental boats. There is nothing to do or see in this little roped off area. Save you money and use it at a bar. You will thank me later. TCD

  10. Monday morning was Casey's YES class. So, Casey and I had a quick breakfast of cereal and we headed to the bus stop. We were very lucky and only waited a few minutes for the bus, then made the 8:30 boat to MK. I was nervous about the class as I had nightmares about not finding the people/place. We got off the boat and went right to guest services. Of course NO ONE new what we were talking about! ugh!!!! I asked 3 CM's and no one knew what a YES class was. I finally found a CM who knew what I was talking about, but said a lot of the classes were already in the MK. EEEK!!! I showed t

  11. All Aboard! Where's The Buffet?? After our Planking on the Chrysler session, we walked into the terminal, made it through security, and went upstairs to see this. I wouldn't normally put strangers' kids on the internet, but the look on that girl's face is so cute. Plus, I don't think anyone could possibly track that family down. If by some remote chance they are reading this...well ya got a cute daughter there! Nice job with the Minnie dress. Some more Minnie pics. We got in line to check in and show our documentation, and I was happy that we had no issues with Anna's documents. The wo

  12. I want to say thanks to everyone for the warm welcome back! I was surprised by how many replies this thread got so quickly...and on a football Sunday! Let's get on with the journey! I mentioned in my last post that we were about to come up on my favorite sign in the whole wide world. Well here it is: Here it is closer: And now here we come around the bend: What a horrible photo that one above is! You can tell by the grainy nature of the photo how overcast it was. There was so little light, the camera on Mrs. Troll was really struggling. Now here's the guard shack: I had some technical diff

  13. You wouldn't be breaking the" open container law" and he would have to let you on, unless you were visibly intoxicated. For those of you with the Red Solo Cups, unless you have a cover on it, you're not getting on my bus anyway. And if it's past morning, if you do have a covered RSC and I suspect it's alcohol and you tell me it is, you'll have to get rid of it. Unless you're prepared to give me an equal job after I get fired for violating the "open container law", I'm going by the book. The law is, no open containers with an alcoholic beverage in it, camouflaged or otherwise, can be in the veh
