I agree with Dave. I bet salami and cheese were on the menu. Although if she was waving that stuff around I'm sure you would have accepted. Or maybe she assumed you had already had your horse grill you up some hot dogs.

Getting ready to leave... It's sad, but, just for fun... You might have had a good time at the fort if... You decide poop in the pool is just part of the experience... You can't remember what day it is, you just know it's going to fast... Kids go to bed of their own free will, sometimes without even telling you.. Your little Girl sobs when she learns we have to leave and go home... Your kids ask why we can't have a Golf Cart at home... You try to use your Magic Band PIN to unlock your truck... As we were leaving this morning 900 is still closed, and there is at least one additional trench being dug between the Comfort Station and the road. Maybe some other work being done further back in, but I was in a hurry and couldn't stop to snoop anymore.

As promised, here are some photos taken on Friday evening June 12, 2015 showing what is currently going on in the 900 loop. I had taken the bus from the Outpost to the Settlement for a take out dinner from Trail's End. On the way there, I saw that the 900 loop was fenced off with that impenetrable white plastic fencing that those in charge of things at the Fort use to keep guests away from things they don't want them to see. I think you should have gone to the front desk and asked for the full instructions for the kettle. It reminds me of a story my friend told me. After her grandmother died they were going through her house and she had saved the instructions for everything, including her bath mat. Yes, her bath mat.
